Tools for teaching geography at primary schools for the deaf - a proposal of a multimedia tool
Drozdová, Lenka ; Macurová, Alena (referee) ; Okrouhlíková, Lenka (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor thesis is to make a design of a multimedia device on general geography for deaf and hard of hearing pupils at primary schools. I focus above all on visual (graphic) design of the multimedia device, its organization and facilities and its interactivity. I describe in details one of the three chapters, the device should contain, the second chapter "The Earth - our planet" for illustration. DVD with this chapter demostration is attached to the thesis. The introductory part of the thesis brings general characteristics of the school subject "geography" (i.e. its content and objectives). I focus on its inclusion to the new curriculum documents, which follow the Framework educational program for primary schools. In the following section, I briefly outline the issues of the deaf education, in particular, what challenges deaf and hard of hearing pupils face within learning process. Next part of my thesis is devoted to textbooks content description. First of all, I describe textbooks in general. Then, I reflect in detail, what benefits have other types of textbooks comparing to paper ones. I focus on multimedia textbooks and their use in deaf education. The last part focuses on the chapter "Earth - our planet" description. In the draft, I tried to visualize the maximum of the learning...

Vinš, Rudolf ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
LIEN IN THE CZECH LAW Summary Lien is one of the typical private rights. Lien is tenure. This means that it operates not only between the subjects of law, but against all. It is tenure to an alien property, which is reflected by the object owner restricts the right of ownership in favor of the lien creditor. The essence of the lien is to secure claims of a lien creditor. That may satisfy his claim from the proceeds of liquidation of the collateral, if not properly and timely met. As a result of its accessory nature it can never exist alone, but always only in relation to an existing claim. The thesis describes the concept of lien and its essence. It focuses on the individual components of a lien, a secured claim, lien and legal fact that links to the emergence of a lien. It describes to what kind of claims can be secured by the lien, what the lien could represent and what manner leads to emergence of the lien. Further more, the thesis describes the rights and obligations of a lien creditor and the debtor's pledge of a lien and the realization of a lien. It mentions the possibility of conduct of the lien and how a pledge can satisfy his claim from the proceeds of liquidation of the collateral. There is a great deal of ways to realize a lien, so this thesis tries to show the advantages and disadvantages of...

The next two chapters focus on the lecturer providing continuing education. I write there, inter alia, about the requirements for the lecturer, his qualifications, competencies, preparation for the professional trainer practice and multicultural and intercultural dimension of this work. In the fourth chapter there is described the current situation of improving quality of lecturers and their certification. The fifth chapter reflects the analysis of the market in Czech Republic in the field of educational and consulting organizations, which I conducted. I am mentioning here how I've proceeded during the analysis. The final chapter of the main text describes the outputs from the market analysis. I am characterizing there general lecturers' certificates and certificates focused on product...

Contract analyses, concrete business case
Stepanenko, Karol ; Malý, Josef (advisor) ; Halík, Jaroslav (referee)
At the beginning of the 21st century the international trade gets more important than ever before. The amount of the traded goods rises. There are more and more new small and medium size companies that participate in the international trade but have rather limited experience with it. This brings new threat to the business. It is, therefore, advisable to include one of the thirteen international commercial terms also known as INCOTERMS. These terms are published by the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. The terms, however, are not a standard part of a contract and therefore if the parties want to use it, they must clearly refer to one in the contract. These 13 terms set rights and obligations for both contract parties. This paper aims to analyze INCOTERMS 2000 and apply the facts on general commercial terms of 1CSC PRECISION TUBES, a.s.

Woody Species of the Castle Gardens of the Pilsen-South District
Sedlák, Jan ; Havlíček, Petr (advisor) ; Mácová, Marcela (referee)
- 6 - 2 Abstract The aim of this degree work is to map out the chateau gardens in the Pilsen-South District. The work brings a list of woody species occurring in the areas under survey and evaluates the current status of the gardens in connection with their history. The research work was carried out at 8 localities: Dolní Lukavice, Hradiště u Blovic, Merklín, Ptenín, Spálené Poříčí, Šťáhlavy, Zelená Hora, and Žinkovy, the total area being approximately 38.6 ha. The field work was performed in the period from 2006 to 2008. The text is complemented with the garden maps drawn based on the field measurements and showing the most valuable woody species. The general part of the work specifies the natural conditions of the areas under survey and lists all the woody species found, classifying them into gymnosperms (Pinophyta) and angiosperms (Magnoliophyta). The second part describes the individual studied objects, their history, current situation and an inventory list of the taxa found. Currently measured dimensions are provided for the most important of them. 176 woody species in total, including cultivars, of which 46 were gymnosperms (Pinophyta) and 130 were angiosperms (Magnoliophyta), were found at the localities under survey. The gardens of the Žinkovy Chateau are the richest in the dendrological point of...

Tall rings
Penk, Tomáš ; Žemlička, Jan (advisor) ; Šťovíček, Jan (referee)
Perfect and max rings are known for over fifty years. Their theory is being steadily and intensively studied. The conditions defining them are mainly interesting while studying non-noetherian modules. In this work we summarize at first basic information about rings and modules with previous knowledge requiring just in elementary level. After summing up basic results in the theory of noetherian modules we will be prepaired for the definition of tall modules and tall rings. We show then that they are a generalization of prefect and max rings in a specific way. We bring out some examples of tall and non-tall rings with accenting commutative rings. Information which we obtain we try to generalize and use for searching some necessary and some sufficient conditions with the goal to be able to say about a commutative ring if it is tall or not. At the end we point out that in case of a commutative noetherian ring they are equivalent to each other and they give together to the concept tall ring an equivalent characterization.

The Book of Job. How to deal with suffering?
Millerová, Pavlína ; Heryán, Ladislav (advisor) ; Širka, Zdenko (referee)
Questions concerning evil and suffering are those, which people ask the most often. What is their reason and purpose. The authoress seeks the answer with the aid of the book Job from the Old Testament. At the beginning she acquaints us with the book and analyzes its individual parts. She takes notice to the reflection of the story of Job in theological literature as well as in fine arts. The book of Job depicts with evil and suffering. Authoress therefore afterwards thinks of these terms in a wider connection. According to her, no simple answer likely exists. Instead, the final part of the work brings in burning questions, concerning past and present. It calls appeal for our further thinking about them. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Origins of vertebrate hematiopoiesis
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Bartůněk, Petr (advisor) ; Divoký, Vladimír (referee) ; Živný, Jan (referee)
(ENGLISH) Hematopoiesis is dependent on the actions of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). This process is tightly controlled through a complex array of extrinsic and intrinsic factors. Even though the hematopoiesis seems to be well conserved across the disparate vertebrate animals, erythroid and thrombocytic differentiation have changed during the evolution of mammals. Specifically, adult mammalian red blood cells have the unique feature of being enucleated, and mammalian thrombocytes are not individual cells, but fragments of megakaryocytes, instead. It is likely that these enhancements provided a survival advantage to early mammalian species; however, they also bring up the question of evolutionary origin of these cells that studied using zebrafish (Danio rerio) model. First, it was necessary to generate a toolbox of a recombinant cytokines and optimized culture media that allowed us to manipulate zebrafish hematopoietic cells ex vivo in liquid and clonal cultures. Interestingly, teleost species underwent an extra duplication event during their evolution and as a result, two copies (paralogs) of some of the genes are present in zebrafish. This was also the case for majority of the cytokines from our toolbox and here, we provide functional characterization of these paralogs. Strikingly, our results...

Diversity management
Táborská, Pavla ; Kocianová, Renata (advisor) ; Šerák, Michal (referee)
The theme of this bachelor thesis is diversity management - managing diversity in organizations. Diversity management is introduced as a concept, based on fight against discrimination, appreciating interindividual differences among people and brings organization a profit. The first part focuses on human rights, discrimination and equal opportunities. Definition interindividual differences - dimensions of diversity in the next chapter is an important prerequisite to understanding the essence of diversity management. Diversity management is primarily interested in groups of workers who are usually disadvantaged in organizations, these include mainly women, persons of other race or ethnicity, persons over 50 years and persons with disabilities. From the perspective of organization is very important an implementation of the concept in the organization and benefits and costs that relate to this process. Then this thesis in terms of organization focuses on how diversity management is reflected in personnel activities. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to situation of diversity management in the Czech Republic.
