The Memory Function in Children with Developmental Problems

The diploma thesis briefly drala with the problem of memory functions of children with specific language disorder -developmental sérech impediment. The theoretical devotes to the explanation of basic terms - memory, memory in relation to speech, memory of yong learners, and memory in relation to the developmental speech impediment. The practical part offers the comparison of two groups based on a memory test. First I teste children from regular elementary schools and tried to find out thein memory kapacity. The other group was formel by children with speech impediment. I tried to compare and evaluate the experiment.

Práce se zabývá podnikatelským prostředím, obchodními zvyklostmi a kulturními specifiky Malajsie. Je rozdělena do tří hlavních celků. V úvodní části jsou uvedeny základní údaje o zemi.Druhá kapitola se věnuje podnikatelskému prostředí.Hodnotí makroekonomické ukazatele, zahraniční obchod, investiční klima a zvláštní pozornost je věnována obchodní a ekonomické spolupráci s Českou republikou. Třetí kapitola se zabývá kulturou a obchodními zvyklostmi. Věnuje se kulturním dimenzím, společenským zvyklostem, komunikaci, vlivu náboženství atd. Závěr kapitoly pojednává o obchodním jednání. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře blíže s malajským prostředím.

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje především na analýzu obchodních a kulturních zvláštností Peru. Úvodní kapitola poskytuje základní informace ohledně geografického, historického, demografického, politického a ekonomického hlediska. Znalost těchto základních charakteristik je totiž pro pochopení kulturních a obchodních odlišností země nezbytná. Druhá kapitola pojednává o zvyklostech a specifikách peruánské kultury. Závěrečná kapitola se zabývá obchodními zvláštnostmi, přičemž se zaměřuje zejména na tamní obchodní jednání a profilové vlastnosti peruánského podnikatele.

SCHOENSTATT SPIRITUALITY This thesis introduces the Schoenstatt movement and its spirituality. It explains the concepts of spirituality and spiritual theology and describes the spirituality as a practical implementation of our everyday experience of the relationship with God. The second chapter describes the history of the Schoenstatt movement in relation to the life story of its founder. In the third part of the thesis, the structure of the movement is explained and the main (fourt) part represents the fundamental principles of the Schoenstatt spirituality. The purpose of this chapter is to show the interconnection of the founder's life and the spirituality. The final section of the thesis addresses the history and work of the Schoenstatt movement in the Czech Republic. Aristotle on dreams

The thesis deals with the Aristotle concept oť dreams. In introduction we outline a certain tradition ol' discourse about dreams before Aristotle and put foward our main proposition - sensory perception is kind ofthe material change. Within the framework oftradition, Aristotle develops his own concept of dreams and dreaming. Dreams are something deamonic; kind of phantasma, which occurs during the sleep. They are caused by residual movements from sensory perception. Phantasia is the faculty which give rise to dreaming phantasma. The first chapter is dedicated to the analysis of Aristotle's notions ofthe soul and iťs capacities. Mainly we outline the description of senseory perception, phantasia, intelect, cognition and thought. The second chapter, which is for our purpose the main chapter, deals with intimate analysis of Aristotle's concepts of sleep and waking, dreams, divination from dreams and the interpretation of dreams. The sleep and waking are the opposite states of koine aisthesis. During the sleep nutritive part ofthe soul is most active (owing to heart, blood, pneuma). Modern approaches to web development

The aim of this thesis is the introduction to the modern approaches to web development. The thesis is divided into three main parts. First two parts are theoretical and last part is practical. The frst part presents two technologies, web services and the object-relational mapping, that meant a large boom in the web applications during last years. The second part of this work explains web frameworks Ruby on Rails and Django. These frameworks are representatives of moderns tools for web development. Programming languages Ruby and Python are introduced along with those frameworks. Final part of this work is practical and shows how simple appli- cation would be implemented in the frameworks Ruby on Rails and Django. Themain contribution of this thesis is introducing modern approaches of web development and outline possible future development.

The Portrayal of German Culture in German-Language Textbooks

Diese Magisterarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Kulturbegriff und seiner Vermittlung im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Der erste, eher theoretische Teil dieser Arbeit, erläutert die Entwicklung und wissenschaftliche Auffassungen dieses Begriffs näher und macht dann seine Rolle und Funktion im Fremdsprachenunterricht transparent. Zugleich wird auch auf die Problematik der interkulturellen Kompetenz eingegangen, die oft gerade im Zusammenhang mit der Kulturvermittlung im Fremdsprachenunterricht auftaucht. Im zweiten, eher praktischen Teil, wird eine Analyse ausgewählter Lehrwerke für den Unterricht Deutsch als Fremdsprache durchgeführt, die sich auf ein Kulturmerkmal der deutschen Kultur- Verhaltensmuster im Alltag- und seine Vermittlung konzentriert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Möglichkeiten der meisten der analysierten Lehrwerke, die Entwicklung der interkulturellen Kompetenz bei tschechischen Schülern zu unterstützen, begrenzt sind. Die Persönlichkeit des Lehrers spielt eine wichtige Rolle, weil er den interkulturellen Ansatz im Unterricht Deutsch als Fremdsprache mit Hilfe von ergänzenden Materialien erreichen kann. "The experience of suffering both provokes and resists narration. It is at the hearl of many of the world's great stories (the Odyssey, the Book of Job, the Gospels, the Divine Comedy, Paradise Lost) and yet absent, in a fundamental way, from every story. Because intense suffering takes language away, retrospective narration can seem futile, even falsifying. Moreover, it often raises more questions than it answers. (Who or what is responsible for suffering? Is it merited? What ends it? How can it be made commensurable with the rest of ones's life? What is its meaning? How does one cope with it?) In spite of all this, sufferers continue to tug at the shirls/eeves of passersby, and passersby continue to stop, listen and fall into the sufferers's story. Why?" My opening paragraph is a description of a course that I discovered in the Bard College Course Catalogue for the fall semester 2001 - the year of the falling towers. I was immediately intrigued by the description, having myself experienced great loss, and suffering from it again despite a long passage of time and coping. Linguistic Analysis of Headlines in Spanish Press

The objective of this bachelor thesis is analysis of headlines in current Spanish press. After inicial introduction to characteristics of journalism and demonstration of typical features of headlines, especially about conciseness, is in the second part of the thesis analysed the sample of five hundred headlines extracted from the five spanish internet journals with focus on direct and reported speech and verbs dicendi. This bachelor thesis is written in czech language nevertheless with frequent occurence of examples of spanish headlines. Part of the work is also résume in spanish.

Income and option approach to patents valuations

Disertační práce se soustřeďuje na analýzu a zhodnocení výnosových a opčních metod oceňování patentovaných vynálezů. Analýza a zhodnocení jsou provedeny pod zorným úhlem značně specifických rysů vynálezů, jakými jsou: jedinečnost, úzká obchodovatelnost, symbióza s jinými aktivy, nerivalitní užívání a významná specifická rizika. Úvodní část práce pojednává o základních právních otázkách ochrany vynálezu, základních faktorech majících vliv na hodnotu vynálezu a specifických rysech vynálezu, vytyčuje cíle, stav literatury, metodologii a přínosy práce. Druhá a třetí část je věnována teoretické analýze a zhodnocení výnosového a opčního přístupu k oceňování vynálezů, ve čtvrté části jsou aplikovány teoretické závěry v rozsáhlé případové studii ocenění biotechnologického vynálezu, pátá část podává souhrnné závěry práce.
