Use of marketing tools on social networks

This thesis mainly deals with the practical use of marketing tools in Czech social networks environment. The theoretical part introduces integration of social media concept into basic marketing theory, it also maps Czech Internet environment and brings readers summary of the most popular Czech and international social networks along with its brief history. The aim of this work is the creation of structure of marketing tools in order to maximize the effectiveness of Facebook profile. For this purpose I described basic measurable quantities that are essential for the possibility of comparing the effectiveness of different sized pages on social networks. The work is supported by practical demonstration from Czech Facebook environment that aims to present effectiveness of proposed solutions.

Design of electrical power supply of city Jičín

The thesis deals with the issue of voltage changes or changes in the supply of electric energy of the particular town. The work entitled "Design of electrical power supply of city Jičín" addresses the specific case of unification of the town of Jičín. The first part describes the current state of distribution equipment, including calculations of short-circuit conditions, cross sections, a description of the sites of electricity consumption and the power consumption of the town. From the detailed description of the current state it is clear that most of the equipment is beyond its mean time to breakdown and has been in operation longer than intended. The next chapters describe possible solutions to reconstruction of the facilities. The first option – marked as option A – aims to maintain the existing 10kV distribution lines. Option B presents a solution in the form of abolition of urban transformation and transition to the 35kV voltage level (which is the voltage level used in the CEZ Distribution plc, eastern area). A comparison of proposed options is made in the technical-economic evaluation. The evaluation brings a detailed description of progress of implementation and planning of the reconstruction of facility particular parts for individual years. The conclusion summarizes the results of the technical-economic assessment of both options and gives reasons why option B, which proposes transition to the 35kV voltage level, is more advantageous.

Influence of new media on movie and video prodiction

The work is focused on the influence of movie and video production in connection with the new media. It is focused to map how the new media influenced the distribution of movie and video production, depending on their use on the market. The work defines the basic concepts and direction of new media. Characterizes the divergence of terms like old and new media, what are their differences, specifics and how they change film and video distribution channels. It creates complete list and comparison of existing providers of video on demand services. It brings up specified criteria and on base of them compares the most popular video hosting sites. The work includes and specify other channels, which facilitate the spread of film or video and was build up by Web 2.0. Because of the frequent encounters of the Copyright Act in connection with the illegal distribution, especially in the film, this theme is also included in the content.

The issue of brownfield in Ústecký region

The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of utilizing the brownfield sites. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to basic concepts of brownfields, the most common causes for its creation and contains a classification of different types of brownfields. This part also deals with the important process of an investor choosing between two possibilities -- brownfields and greenfields -- for his investment intentions. Also common difficulties related to brownfields and positives which their rehabilitation brings are mentioned. At the end of the theoretical part several approaches are given to solve the examined issue including embedding program and funding options. The practical part is focused on a brief description of the present state of brownfields in the Czech Republic, subsequently more deeply in Ústecký region. Part of the practical part is an outline of problems, which might come up during the rehabilitation of brownfield, on a practical example the Milada Lake. The aim of this work is to give a comprehensive characteristic on the issue of brownfields, outline common related problems and analyze situation in the Czech Republic and more deeply in Ústecký region using a practical example.

Use of Web 2.0 applications at work for a project team

Web 2.0 is a new approach of creating not only web content. It provides a means of active creation of content for a greater number of users. This approach has already brought a revolution to the Internet on social sites like Facebook or Youtube, but the enterprise environment and project teams are not that familiar yet with the potential of using Web 2.0. Therefore the aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce Web 2.0. It also seeks to bring the possibility of using this approach for creating all types of projects and furthermore points out some applications which are benefits from using this approach and provide universal methodology of using those applications for project work.

Trends and research directions of ICT services

The bachelor's thesis deals with recent situation in ICT services and their research trends. The goal of this work is to identify the basic researches, to outline the advance and different theoretical concepts in this area. The work is based on analysis of professional literature -- monograph publication but mainly of available articles in renown professional periodicals, which can be reached from the network of University of Economics, and their compilation according to the goal of this work. The thesis is divided into three main areas. The first area gives compact interpretation about problems in main courses of ICT services research. This part brings theoretical foundation of this work. The second area deals with right definition of ICT services features mainly according to ITIL v3 and COBIT 4.1 and brings comments from the point of view of these methodics. It continues with discussion of possible problems that arise in ICT services management. The third area is about analysis of ICT services research directions and trends. It analyze work places, journals, professinal konference and authors that deals with this theme and designates research directions tires to estimate future trends in this area.

The comparison of websites of non-profit organizations

The aim of this bachelor study is to compare websites of unprofitable organizations. The introductory part deals with common tasks of unprofitable organizations and brings some appreciation of their contemporary status in the Czech Republic. The second part contains principals of multicriterial websites evaluation. In the third part of the study proper evaluation of selected websites is introduced. Afterwards evaluation of the outcomes is stated and recommendations how to improve particular websites are given. The study conclusion gives the principals for construction of the new web sites as well as some practical example of the construction of a new website of unprofitable organization.

The project deals with the design and implementation of the program based on frequency analysis of the text. The results should provide a quick overview about currently published articles in the newspapers. The program downloads the current articles from newspaper Web sites. For each of defined section and each article is able to list the most frequent n-tuple of words. There is option to define dictionary of uninteresting (banned) words and dictionary of phrases. Implementation solves some problems with downloading articles from various structure different servers, such as problems with encoding and problems with recognition articles from advertisement. The work reveals that simple frequency analysis can bring interesting results.

Queer Subjects and the Constructions of Gender and Sexual Identity at the Turn of the 19th Century The thesis examines the normative structures that shape and pre-determine the construction of the gender and sexual identities at the turn of the nineteenth century in the British context. The focus of the study is the critical investigation of the binary - heteronormative - logic that governs the formation of these identities. The concern with gender intelligibility (and the "matrix of intelligibility") reflects the thesis's critical engagement with the technology that subjects the possibilities of identification, and in fact forms of subjectivity, to logic of specific governance. The second overarching concern of the thesis represents the attempt to encompass the diversity of the practices that the individual queer selves devise in the process of self-writing and making sense of themselves. Development of the economy of Czech republic during the transformation

In my work, I compare the development of the economy of the Czech republic during the transformation to the functioning of centrally planned economy. I tried to bring the two systems, evaluate their positive and negative sites, and reflect on whether the whole transformation process really necessary. Characteristics of both systems I have tried to bring to the development of basic macroeconomic indicators -- GDP, inflation and unemployment.
