Snad nikdo nepochybuje o velkém významu znalosti cizích jazyků nejen pro výkon mnoha povolání, ale i z hlediska dalšího všestranného rozvoje osobnosti. V době hledání nové kvalitativní dimenze zapojení české společnosti do širšího evropského a světového rámce je zřejmý i aspekt kulturně politický. V úvahu je také nutné vzít přání Evropské unie, aby se každý občan Evropy uměl dorozumět alespoň dvěma dalšími jazyky kromě jazyka mateřského. Zajistit potřebnou úroveň jazykového vzdělávání a jeho prohlubování či rozšiřování na další populační skupiny vyžaduje využít znalostí a dovedností dostatečného počtu náležitě kvalifikovaných učitelů. Současný stav bývá hodnocen jako neuspokojivý. Česká školní inspekce hlásí trvalý nedostatek aprobovaných učitelů cizích jazyků. Účinnost mimořádného opatření, které umožňuje vyučovat cizí jazyk i neaprobovaným učitelům, sice končí v červnu 2006, avšak podle vyjádření Jaroslavy Delišové z odboru základního vzdělávání MŠMT bude navrženo jeho prodloužení do roku 2009 (Šteflová, 2006, s. 10). Zužovat problematiku obsazování míst učitelů cizích jazyků na otázky získávání a výběru náležitě vzdělaných expertů by jistě bylo nesmírně krátkozraké. Psychosocial and Legal Assistance to Victims of Traffic Accidents

The diploma thesis treats of momentousness of the road traffic accidents and consequences to the lives of the victims of the traffic accidents and survivors. The thesis arises from the matter of psychosocial sciences and its main aim is not only to chart the problems of road traffic accidents in the point of view of the socioeconomic consequences and injuries but also to inform and show on the serious effects of the road traffic accidents to the psychical, social and often economical life of the individual and to extend the consciousness and know-how of the general and professional public about this complicated point s at issue. In the theoretical part of the thesis the term psychosocial aid means not only the critical aid, but also the concrete following professional services which are instanced as a view in the thesis. The legal aid to the victims of the traffic accidents is specified as a survey of the claims which come from the system of social security in the Czech Republic. Comparison of Product Information Management software tools

This diploma thesis deals with the Product Information Management (PIM) and compares PIM software tools. Its goal is to introduce the area of the PIM systems in Czech language. Next subgoal is to define system of criteria. It is also necessary to achieve the last goal -- to analyze and compare PIM software. The method I used is the exploration of information sources; obtaining information through email communication and use of empirical knowledge to define system of criteria. The contribution of this work is the same as its goals. The work is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part deals with PIM definitions, context, functionality, architectures and PIM market developing. The second practical part involves selecting of particular PIM software tools, defining system of criteria and comparison of PIM software tools.

Modelling of Economic Efficiency of Transport Infrastructure Projects

This diploma thesis deals with a cost-benefit analysis of investments in road infrastructure. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part includes a description of the cost-benefit analysis procedure and a deeper description of evaluating investments in road and highway constructions. The practical part deals with the specific investment for the construction of highway. This involves applying information from the theoretical part to this specific investment and evaluating the economic efficiency, including risk analysis. The main indicator of the economic efficiency is the net present value.

Supporting families in the context of current demographic trends in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis is focused on the demographic trends in the Czech Republic, on explanation of the principal demographic terms, on comparison of trends in the Czech Republic with neighboring countries and it shows the predictions of demographic trends for the future. It also analyse the benefits for families, what types of the support exists in the Czech Republic and it compares this support with other countries. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the support for families in the Czech republic, find some imperfections and try to recommend some solutions how to motivate families to have children. The other aim of the thesis is to find some economic and social risks by the analysis of the historical demographic trends.

The aim of the thesis is to present a realistic business plan for providing banking service and independent financial advisory. The thesis shows the collaboration possibility of multinational corporation UniCredit Group, renowned Czech company Partners Financial Services and the flexibility and motivation of a small local start-up. This is possible thanks, franchising, a specific form of entrepreneurship, which the thesis describes in general and also in a specific situation of the given business plan, of the local franchise branch store PM Nymburk s.r.o. Business plan itself shows specifically the setup of the company, procedures, summarizes the risks and confirms good projection of the economical success.

Employee benefits in profit and non-profit sector

This diploma thesis is focused on employee benefits. At the beginning of the work there is shortly described history and importance of employee benefits. After that the work continues with motivation, rewarding and basic concepts of labour relations. There is also described difference between profit and non-profit sector. At the end of theoretical part of the work are described employee benefits and ways of dividing in detail. Emphasised is mainly tax advantages for employees and employers. In practical part of the work are evaluated results of own survey. The survey deals with employee benefits and its importance for them as well as with comparison of profit and not-profit sector in terms of employee benefits and how much are they provided. The survey confirms hypothesis, that in no-profit sector are provided less benefits than in profit sector and that the most important part of rewarding are considered wages by employees.

Importance of communication elements for management

The importance of communication elements for management is a diploma thesis consisting of two parts: literary recherche, and pratictal part. The first part is about mastering theory and knowledge of the given matters. The literary recherche sets the matter within a broader theory frame - human communication and management chapter. These chapters are dealt with from general definitions to more specific work interdepartmental communication, manager's aptitude etc. The second part is practical. For its purposes a quiestionnaire covering the contents of the literary recherche was formed. This questionnaire was given to 33 respondents performing managerial roles in the researched company. The overall conclusion was based on the respondents' answers.

This paper focuses on a timely topic, specifically management of processes and improvement of business processes. Czech economy has now fully accommodated to business in market conditions and Czech businesses are increasingly more integrated into the global economy. These conditions require increasing competitiveness of Czech companies and increasing the efficiency of administrative activity. In order for modern companies to succeed in the marketplace they must constantly focus on the improvement of their activities, and therefore it is important to keep developing new technologies, business methods, and improve the quality of the final products of the introduction of new effective methods of management and organization of businesses. Business processes are an integral part of every company and their improvement is an essential tool to increase competitiveness and proximity to the customer. The study of business processes allows to gain the necessary expertise in complex analysis and a detailed assessment of existing processes, finding optimal solutions that the managers and employees cannot see in their positions. Optimizing business processes supports us in having a clear idea of all the activities, objectives and final outcome of their activities. Only in case where the company will have a good analysis of the underlying business processes focused on a specific goal can the enterprise achieve improvements in all the necessary activities. Process analysis is a good method to answer the question what is necessary and sufficient to achieve the desired objectives. This thesis is focused on business processes and their improvement. The theoretical part elaborates on the process management and compares different approaches to making changes. The practical part focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge in a chosen company. Firstly it describes the analysis of the current situation and subsequently submits proposals for specific improvements.

Knowledge Sharing in the Enterprise

This thesis deals with the process of knowledge sharing, which is practiced in societies via knowledge management. It is a relatively new discipline in their entirety and it uses a pair of modern societies. To work was selected by Business Media CZ Ltd., in which the analysis was performed motivators acting on knowledge sharing. It is a small company, but with knowledge management a couple of years working and has surely what to improve. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the work is handled via literature review and practical part contains its own processing. The first part describes the importance, objectives and basic concepts of knowledge management, what is a suitable environment for sharing knowledge and motivating employees to share knowledge and better performance. In the second part (custom processing) is used questionnaires, based on which it was drawn up a proposal to improve knowledge sharing within the organization.
