Mystical Journey of Union According to John of the Cross in the light of johannine New Testamental Tradition This thesis analyzes the mystical development described in the works of a Spanish Carmelite, Saint John of the Cross. According to his teachings, a mystical journey heading towards the Union with God can be envisioned as a process of establishing an intimate relationship between a human person and God. As a result of the transforming effects of God's Love, the human being becomes detached from all his/her desires as he/she learns to prefer God above all things and to depend only on Him. What moves the soul towards God is an openness of mind formed by the theological virtues of Faith, Love and Hope operating together to produce a progress of the spiritual journey. Apart from presenting the core of sanjuanist teachings concentrated on the Union with God, the thesis also compares this teaching with a loving relationship between a disciple and Jesus as conceived in Gospel of John. The argument focuses on the fact that both johannine and sanjuanist depiction of dynamics that brings the soul and God closer to each other reflects the process of entering into friendship not only with God but also with other people. Michal Ryšavý Pohřební rituály východních Slovanů mezi křesťanstvím a pohanstvím. K problematice pojetí smrti a nedokonané christianizace. Funereal rites of eastern Slavs on the turn of the Christianity and thepaganism. The issue of the conception of death and uncompleted Christianisation. Understanding of death or adoption of the idea of the death is conditio sine qua non of worthful and real life in every culture. Possibility and realization of this understanding is not only a culture phenomenon, but it is also simply an anthropological constant. To help to this grasp, it can to learn about manners, in which the people in history reacted to it. This work offers a sight on the reactions (not only old) culteres of the Slavic ethnicity to the mentioned fact, of their aproach to it, on the quest for practical, spiritual and cultural conception of it, and on the evident attempt on humanization of it. The original and basic thesis of the dissertation is supposition, that center and meaning of funereal rite don't change in the course of the time, which is constantly demonstrated from start to finish of this essay.

At the beginning, concept of artificial neural networks is introduced and compared to it's biological base. Afterwards, we also compare neural networks to some generalized linear models. One of the main problems of neural networks is their learning. Therefore biggest part of this work is dedicated to learning algorithms, especially to pa- rameter estimation and specific computational aspects. In this part we attempt to bring in an overview of internal structure of neural network and to propose enhancement of learning algorithm. There are lots of techniques for enhancing and enriching basic model of neural networks. Some of these improvements are, together with genetic algorithms, introduced at the end of this work. Patients Dignity in Ethical Codex of Nurses and in Use

In proposed thesis is thematized the problematic of human dignity with accent on medical use. In theoretical part is treated philosophical dimension of dignity and its embodiment in the international Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine, in national laws as well in ethical codices of nurses. In practical part was provided the research with aim to examine the attitude of the nurses and the patients themselves on evidence of patients dignity in nursing. Resulting summary compares the points of view of the nurses and the patients on dignity in nursing. Final recommandation for the change of current situation is adressed to the pedagogues engaged in qualifying education of nurses and lifelong learning, to the professional associations represented in Czech Republic by nurses, to the teamleaders at medical posts, as well to nurses themselves and not at last to the patients.

The Intermediality of Signs in Electronic Communication - The Use of Emoticons as New Means of Expression

The diploma thesis The Intermediality of Signs in Electronic Communication: the Use of Emoticon as New Means of Expression provides the medial and semiotic view of electronic communication as non-verbal means of expression. In addition to that, it also tries to reveal its specific features. The diploma thesis presents emoticon not only as a feature of the Internet but it also refers to its intermedial dimension which is apparent in printed media. The purpose of the research is firstly set into the broader thematic context to familiarize the reader with the character of the Internet setting. Furthermore, he/she gets a summary of medial and sign conceptions. In the practical part the knowledge is applied when analyzing individual extracts which prove the intermediality of emoticon. The sign is presented in a magazine, comic, book and commercial where the unifying and different tendencies in its function are discovered on the basis of the medial opposition the Internet - press. The extracts reveal an emotional sign as original means of expression. On the other hand, they repeatedly present it as a stereotypically used myth. On the basis of this thesis the reader learns more about this communication phenomenon. Besides, it is easier for him/her to form an idea on cardinal principles of the signs' function in media.

Project and realisation of a ropes course in the selected region

Name of the bachelor essay: Ropes course - project and execution of the project . The goal of this bachelor essay is to create a complete step-by-step document of a rope center realization in the Recreational and sport center U Starého Rybníka in Zbraslavice by Zruč nad Sázavou. The reader will be briefly introduced to the history and development of the rope centers and the following environmental education. Further it offers the description and the extended current processes and means necessary to build a rope way, which we later on implicate into the practice in a real rope center with 7 rope obstacles. The methods used in the period of creation of this bachelor essay were firstly collection of the data from Czech as well as international literature and experiences of the professionals in fields that directly concern rope activities. Gathered data were used for the proposal of a rope center project, which was approved and later on indeed realized. The result of our work is the collection of experiences and knowledge, which offers to the reader a complete view of the rope center building process from the very first project until the first step on the rope obstacle. Amicable settlement of disputes in payment systems has recently recorded a big rise in interest among the general public. This thesis deals precisely with this phenomenon, whereas deeply processes the topic of the financial arbitrage, and discusses its basic principles and policies. Its task is to give, even to lay readers, a comprehensive view of the topic and answer fundamental questions related to the financial arbitration. The practical part focuses on the analysis of selected aspects of the operation of the financial arbiter office, and using the comparative "year by year" method tries to evaluate past trends and establish a possible future developement. Bachelor thesis also attempts to answer the question about the future direction of the Institute of czech financial arbitrator and the impact of upcoming changes to its operation. The thesis is designated both for students, as well as for the general public with an interest to learn more about the topic, or perhaps even for the future use of the financial arbiter service.

Představa, že pro ekonomiku bude v budoucnu ministr školství důležitější než ministr obchodu se zdá na první pohled absurdní. Moderní hospodářství i sociální procesy jsou nicméně podmíněné globalizací, která klade nebývalé nároky na individuální schopnosti adaptace, komunikace a mobility. To s sebou nese i potřebu celoživotního učení, protože životní úspěch každého jednotlivce na celém světě dnes vyžaduje měnit profesi několikrát za život nebo se vyrovnat s rychlými proměnami kvalifikace, kterou získal během školního vzdělání. Evropská unie na tyto výzvy odpověděla v roce 2000 Lisabonskou strategií s jejími třemi pilíři - ekonomickým, sociálním a životního prostředí. Těmito třemi pilíři se potřeba celoživotního učení promítá v různých souvislostech. Pro pedagogiku je zásadní výzvou získávání klíčových kompetencí, které celoživotní učení v moderní době umožní. V České republice se v souvislosti s otevíráním země světové ekonomice a přistupováním do Evropské unie byla přijala celá řada školských dokumentů, jejichž implementací se má výrazným způsobem posunout schopnost jednotlivců uplatnit se na soudobém trhu práce.
