Main part of this work is dealing with the new Expropriation Act, which became effective from 1 January 2007, but not only, because this act is one of several act, where expropriation is regulated. More important regulation is included inthe Czech Bill of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, where is determined constitutional principles of Expropriation and limitation of property rights. These conditions are: "in public interest under the rule of law and with compensation." These constitutional principles are specificated in the Czech Civil Code and expropriation act. Very important for Czech regulation are international documents for example the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms from 1950. Specially the First Protocol to the European Convention, signed in Paris in 1952, includes the right to the peaceful enjoyment of possesion in the Article 1. Third chapter is dealing with definition of expropriation: "taking out property by public authority." Legal definition of this term is in expropriation act where is used as legal abbreviation for expropriation and limitation of property. There is text about land and Constructions for example what is land and what is not land according to...

The Study of Receptor-specific Radiopharmaceuticals Interactions with Biological Systems at the Cellular Level
Bárta, Pavel ; Lázníček, Milan (advisor) ; Nachtigal, Petr (referee) ; Štětina, Rudolf (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Candidate Mgr. Pavel Bárta Supervisor Prof. PharmDr. Ing Milan Lázníček, CSc. Title of Doctoral Thesis The study of receptor-specific radiopharmaceuticals interactions with biological systems at the cellular level The targeting of receptor specific peptides or antibodies is one important diagnostic and therapeutic tool in the fight against cancer diseases. Receptor specific peptides often have their origin from the human natural peptide hormones; hence they are commonly marked as peptide analogues. The peptide analogues contain in their amino acids sequence the binding site identical with the site of natural peptides, which they are originated from. This binding site is responsible for the interaction with the targeted receptor. The peptide analogues are employed instead of the natural peptides because their biological properties can be improved, for example facilitating distribution in the organism to their place of action, or protection from biological degradation. The peptide ligand binding itself on targeted receptors and its internalization into cells typically does not trigger a therapeutic effect. From this reason, peptide analogues carry active substances like cytotoxine or...

Aftercare awareness of women after Caesarean section
MAŘÍKOVÁ, Monika
The thesis focuses on a very hot topic, which is the aftercare awareness of women after cesarean section. The theoretical part is divided into three areas. The first area deals with the history of caesarean section and presents the main topics and concepts that are associated with caesarean sections. The second area focuses on the role of midwives in the preoperative care and the last is devoted to the role of midwives in the post-operative care. The research was conducted with the quantitative method, using standardized anonymous questionnaires. The questionnaires were distributed to women after caesarean section in the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the University Hospital in Plzen. Questionnaires were distributed during the months of January, February and March 2012. The aim of the explorative research was to find out the extent of the aftercare awareness of women after caesarean section. The given aim was fulfilled. The results of the explorative research show that the extent of the aftercare awareness of women after caesarean section in the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the University Hospital in Plzen is at good level.

Vladimír Fultner in the labyrinth of Czech architecture up to 1914
Pencák, Marcel ; Švácha, Rostislav (advisor) ; Wittlich, Petr (referee) ; Vybíral, Jindřich (referee)
The paper focuses on the monographic encompassing of the life and work of Vladimír Fultner (1887-1918), whose name is often neglected or forgotten in Czech architectural history. However, careful research reveals that his creation was founded upon extraordinary talent. These works achieved refined artistic sophistication and indisputable originality on the backdrop of contemporary architectural development. He thus deserves reassessment of his importance in forming a domestic modernistic tradition, though it is concentrated in a short period (1908-1914) and limited space for realization (Hradec Králové, Jaroměř, Prague, Kutná Hora, and Brno). Fultner began studying in the autumn of 1904 at Czech Technical University in Prague, but its building construction program led by Josef Schulz and Jan Koula was considered backwards by modern creators. Influenced by agile schoolmates (P. Janák, J. Chochol, V. Hofman, E. Králík, O. Novotný ad.), he became involved in the activity of the revived Association of Students of Architecture (Spolek posluchačů architektury). He ceased proper studies at this school in 1906, and apparently got his education within the circle of pupils and studio employees of Jan Kotěra. Like his contemporaries, Fultner gained the opportunity to work on small jobs for an exhibition by the Chamber...

Theoretical problems of Spanish lexicography
Johnová, Barbara ; Čermák, Petr (advisor) ; Zavadil, Bohumil (referee)
The master's thesis Theoretical Problems of Spanish Lexicography introduces issues associated with creating general monolingual dictionaries. The thesis has two main objectives. Firstly, it aims to summarise the most frequent lexicographic issues and attempt to find their suitable solutions in practice through an analysis of significant research studies dealing with this subject. The issues have been divided into two groups depending on whether they regard the macrostructure (collection of dictionary entries) or microstructure (collection of headword information). As for the macrostructure, one of the main issues is posed by determining the criteria for the selection of dictionary entries. Modern descriptive lexicography considers lexical unit usage frequency to be the main criterion. The macrostructure of general monolingual dictionaries should generally not include proper nouns while productive affixes and affixoids, phraseological units with a high degree of idiomaticity, abbreviations and frequently used neologisms should be included. The thesis also explores the issue of distinguishing between cases of homonymy and polysemy and its impact on lexicographic practice. The chapter on microstructure focuses primarily on the issues of constructing lexicographic definitions with user...

Synthesis and study of ceramide analogues
Školová, Barbora ; Vávrová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Matějka, Pavel (referee) ; Šklubalová, Zdeňka (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of inorganic and organic chemistry Candidate: Mgr. Barbora Školová Supervisor: doc. PharmDr. Kateřina Vávrová, Ph.D. Title of doctoral thesis: Synthesis and study of ceramide analogues Ceramides (Cer) together with free fatty acids and cholesterol form intercellular lamellar space of the uppermost skin layer (stratum corneum, SC). This lipid matrix presents the proper skin barrier - it protects organism against outer environment and keeps its homeostasis as well. The composition and arrangement of the intercellular lipid matrix is essential for the skin barrier properties. In spite of this fact, the organization of SC lipids at the molecular level is not fully elucidated. The aim of this work is to contribute to more detailed insight into organization of skin barrier using SC lipid model membranes, in particular to find the structural parameters in ceramide molecules, which play a role in the maintenance of the skin barrier. The SC model membranes present a useful tool to study SC lipids, they mimic physiological or pathological conditions in the skin. The obtained results should be used in diagnosing or therapy of skin diseases characteristic with impaired barrier function, such as atopic dermatitis or psoriasis....
