Assessmant of surfactants levels in waters
Zajícová, Markéta ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (referee) ; Vávrová, Milada (advisor)
The present Bachelor Thesis deals with problem of water contamination by synthetic surfactants. Surfactants represent the main component of washing and cleaning agents, from which they enter waste waters. The goal of Thesis was to monitor and evaluate volume of surfactants in waste waters from waste water treatment plant VFU Brno. Samples were being taken in the course of 7 days and we have monitored volume of anionic and cationic tensides in samples from influent and effluent stream of waste water treatment plant. For qualitative and quantitative determination were used mobile analytic measurement devices with photometric detection by company Merck. Results were processed and interpreted in data evaluation section in the end of this Bachelor Thesis.

Influence of Initial Conditions on the Modulus of Elasticity of Concrete for Bridges
Blažek, Michal ; Bílek,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
Beside the compressive strength of concrete, which is considered as the basic parameter parameter for design of concrete structures a modulus of the concrete elasticity should be set as well. This thesis deals with influences, which are acting on the concrete, particularly within the initial stage of its hardening (i.e. within 28 days after casting). Nowadays, when time is the most valuable factor, some knowledge is required about mechanical properties of concrete earlier than after above mentioned 28 days and to apply them advantageously. The concrete in initial stage of hardening is influenced by many factors that affect progress of the elasticity modulus during the course of the time. For understanding of these problems a literature search was performed, as well as the experiment demonstrating the effect of temperature on the modulus of the concrete elasticity. The effect of temperature on the modulus of elasticity of concrete in initial stage of hardening has not been intensively studied yet. Therefore, more attention is paid to it by this elaborate. The experiment investigated the static and dynamic elastic modulus of concrete, whose recipe is similar to one used for production of prefabricated and prestressed bridge girders.

The czech famous string quartets
Krejbich, Tomáš ; PĚRUŠKA, Jan (advisor) ; UNTERMŰLLER, Karel (referee)
The creator of this thesis took these few sentences to reveal and explain why he chose his topic of string quartets for this work. There is some policy at czech conservatories, that the students must take up the the lessons of chamber music when entering the fourth or fifth grade (out of six), causing they sort of ?smell? the scent of the chamber music greatness but it is too late for them to truly master the subject, beacuse it is a long-term thing to do if you want to do it right. Of course they can extend their chamber music knowledge later on ? or they might want to meet that greatness even earlier at the conservatory. The author is one of those exceptions. He started to share his free time with the chamber music when he was in the second grade at the conservatory and it absorbed him entirely. Yes, he has played some trios, quintets and others so far, but the quartet is what gives him pure joy and he considers it the most perfect set of string instruments among others. Not too much of this, not too little of that. And maybe that is why so many people in the past devoted their time of even life to the quartet. And many more continue today. These inspire him every day in what he does, therefore he decided to know more about them and share it with you.

Organ in liturgy of Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession
Kopáčik, Vladimír ; TŮMA, Jaroslav (advisor) ; POPELKA, Josef (referee)
The bachelor thesis, Organ in liturgy of Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession, forms the historical overview of liturgical orders in Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Slovakia, as they were used in single areas of this country. Within particular liturgical orders I focus mainly on their musical aspects and I document the organ´s use in the course of. I enquiry from the period of reformation up to the period of the 20th century and I approach the organ in Slovak Evangelical Church, as it domesticated and raised an important position. As the initial liturgical order for Slovak Lutherans I introduce the liturgical order of German Evangelica Church of the Luther reformation´s period. In other chapters I mention spe cific areas of Slovakia and the final chapter is set-in the present day and the recent organ´s use within the Evangelical Divine Service.

In the thesis was studied the time - course of swelling and erosion as the degradation aspects of aliphatic polyesters with linear and/or branched constitution of molecule during 28 days. The evaluated factors were temperature of liquid medium and size of polyester pieces.

Investing in Commodities as a Protection against an Uncertain Future
Pechanec, Václav ; Smrčka, Luboš (advisor) ; Zámečník, Petr (referee)
In the spring of 2007, the whole world learned that something wrong had happened in the U.S. mortgage market. Only a few people knew what will follow and probably almost no one expected how quickly the crisis will be spread around the world and what kind of problems it will cause. Each ordinary citizen could hear the word crisis from all sides in the following months and in the course of time people started to perceive that the situation was not good at all and it would not be solved immediately. Now, more than five years later, those days seem to be as long past times, but people around the world still feel the consequences of the global financial crisis. People have already accustomed to the words like crisis or recession and it looks like these words are becoming necessary part of our vocabulary even for the following years. With uncertainty, we can hear more and more voices that encourage the protection and offer alternatives which are overlooked in times of prosperity. One of these topics is investment in commodities or more precisely in metals. Thus I will focus on this theme in my bachelor thesis.

The Bylinas and Drama Education
Čmelíková, Barbora ; Machková, Eva (advisor) ; Kasíková, Hana (referee)
A group of children from a drama course in Benešov u Prahy gets acquainted with the Russian language and its types, with a part of Slavonic mythology and the life of old western Slavonians by means of the ancient Russian bylinas. The children also get to know the basic characters of the Russian mythic hero´s bravery and they compare them with what we call bravery these days. The included activities motivate the pupils for the work on a theatre performance.

A minor writer of the major sixties: Hana Bělohradská, her literary career and oeuvre
Kredbová, Veronika ; Bílek, Petr (referee) ; Janáček, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the course of literary career and with the forms of work of Hana Bělohradská - an author whose literary activity in the 60's helped to determine the shape of a period which is not only in the literary context called " The Great 60's". The reasons of interest in the work and life of Hana Bělohradská are described in Introduction. The writer is here introduced as the author whose literary career (as it is understood by P. Bourdieu) is in her days very untypical. And furthermore there are formulated the basic goals of this work. Hypotheses for the approach to the following analyses are introduced in the part called Fundaments of investigation. Furthermore there are introduced the theories which the work is based on as well as the reasons why there were chosen as theoretical fundaments of this work exactly these concepts. As the basic theoretical concept was chosen the theory of the field of literary production of the sociologist Pierre Bourdieue. The roots used in following investigations are introduced in the part called Sources of information - the sources which were already compiled (literary abstracts, lexicons and studies) as well as the sources which were so far not elaborated (archive materials, remembrances of eyewitnesses etc.).

Diagnosis of invasive meningococcal disease using the PCR method
Bronská, Eva ; Marešová, Vilma (advisor) ; Rožnovský, Luděk (referee) ; Žemličková, Helena (referee) ; Novák, Ivan (referee)
lntroduction: lnvasive meningococcal disease continues to be a life-threatening condition. Rapid diagnosis is important for the administration of appropriate treatment. Our study focuses on evaluation of importance of PCR method for diagnosis of meningococcal disease. We describe in detail the dynamics of PCR method and its relationship to other diagnostic methods (LA, culture) and to the course of the disease. We also evaluated the influence of previously appl ied antibiotics therapy to results ofthese diagnostic methods. Methods: We have investigated cerebrospinal fluid and serum samples collected during the 1 sl week of hospitalization from patients hospitalized at the department of infectious diseases with laboratory confirmed invasi ve meningococcal disease. Bacterial DNA was isolated from biological material by Qiagen kit and one-step and seminested PCR method was used. PCR products were detected on the 2% gel electrophoresis. In parallel, we performed culture and LA methods. Results: The PCR positivity in cerebrospinal fluid and serum achieved 92 % and 46 %, respectively, LA positivity in cerebrospinal fluid, serum and urine achieved 47 %, 42 % and 24 %, respectively. Culture of CSF and blood was positive only in 35 % and 39 %, respectively. The latest PCR positivity was detected at Day 7 in...

Bis, Josef ; Vojáček, Jan (advisor) ; Mates, Martin (referee) ; Vítovec, Jiří (referee)
The metabolic response to acute coronary syndrome focusing on tissue factor,, metalloproteinases and soluble CD40 ligand Introduction: The cause of acute coronary syndrome is unstable plaque and its rupture. Pathogenesis is complex and requires various mechanisms and depends both on the composition of plaque and thrombotic activity of blood. Objectives: The main goal of this work was to assess local levels of plasma tissue factor (TF), tissue factor inhibitor (TFPI), tissue metalloproteinases (MMP-2, 3 and 9) and inhibitor of metalloproteinases-2 (TIMP-2), a highly selective C-reactive protein (CRP) and soluble CD40 ligand (sCD40L) in patients with acute coronary syndrome and with stable angina pectoris in the systemic circulation, the coronary sinus and to determine the time course of blood levels in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Methods and results: Study population include patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). In 24 patients with stable CAD (SCAD) at time of diagnostic coronary angiography, we withdrew samples from the coronary sinus (CS), femoral vein (VF) and left coronary artery (LMCA). In 29 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) we took samples of venous blood also 24 hours and 7 days from the start. The samples were fixed levels of TF, TFPI, MMP-2, 3 and 9, TIMP-2, CRP, and...
