Na jaře roku 2007 se celý svět dozvěděl o tom, že se v USA na trhu s hypotékami děje cosi nepatřičného. Jen málokdo tušil, co bude následovat a pravděpodobně téměř nikdo neočekával, jak rychle se krize rozšíří do celého světa a jaké problémy s sebou přinese. V následujících měsících každý řadový občan slyšel ze všech stran slovo krize a postupem času lidé začali vnímat to, že situace opravdu není dobrá a že se hned tak nevyřeší. Nyní, více než pět let poté se zdají tyto dny jako časy dávno minulé, ale následky světové finanční krize lidé na celém světě pociťují stále. Lidé si už na slova jako krize či recese zvykli a vypadá to, jakoby se tato slova stala nutnou součástí našeho slovníku i do následujících let. S nejistotou se více a více ozývají hlasy, které nabádají k ochraně a nabízejí alternativy, které jsou v časech prosperity přehlíženy. Jedním z těchto témat je investice do komodit, respektive drahých kovů. A na toto téma se v mé práci zaměřím. In the spring of 2007, the whole world learned that something wrong had happened in the U.S. mortgage market. Only a few people knew what will follow and probably almost no one expected how quickly the crisis will be spread around the world and what kind of problems it will cause. Each ordinary citizen could hear the word crisis from all sides in the following months and in the course of time people started to perceive that the situation was not good at all and it would not be solved immediately. Now, more than five years later, those days seem to be as long past times, but people around the world still feel the consequences of the global financial crisis. People have already accustomed to the words like crisis or recession and it looks like these words are becoming necessary part of our vocabulary even for the following years. With uncertainty, we can hear more and more voices that encourage the protection and offer alternatives which are overlooked in times of prosperity. One of these topics is investment in commodities or more precisely in metals. Thus I will focus on this theme in my bachelor thesis.
