Staff recruitment in basic schools established for teaching pupils with special educational needs in the Pilsen Region

The final paper explores how qualified pedagogical employees are in basic schools established for teaching pupils with special educational needs and in ordinary basic schools where there is a special class for such pupils. Conclusion of the paper is based on research conducted in basic schools in the Pilsen Region. Research produced results to support existence of such schools and classes in the Pilsen Region.
Status and Education of Headmasters in the historical context

This diploma thesis deals with the areas of the position and education of head teachers in the historical context. It views the development of teaching and head teaching professions on our territory in individual periods and also presents the picture of teachers' and head teachers' education. The thesis provides information which deal with the development of the society in the relationship towards education and also respecting individual participants of the education and upbringing processes. In the thesis selected monographs, expert texts, laws, legal regulations and school documents are used. The findings were compiled into thematic units arranged chronologically and according to historical development. The contribution of this thesis is to create a brief overview of the development of the head teacher's position which will be possible to be used for a more detailed study of the subject field.
The activities of a pedagogical worker with clients of asylum house

The theme of the thesis is The activities of a pedagogical worker with clients of an asylum house. The target is to find out what activities the pedagogical worker does in this kind of facility, what is the work description, how the worker works with clients and their children. Further more the thesis deals with necessity of pedagogical worker in an asylum house a their in/sufficient capacity. The thesis is focused on finding out the success of a pedagogical worker in this kind of facility and how the pedagogue reaches the target of their activity. In the theoretical part there I describe particular activities which the pedagigical worker carries out in an asylum house, it means in socially disadvantaged environment. In the empirical part of the thesis there I research whether the pedagogical worker is neccessary in this facility and wheteher and to what extent their work capacity is sufficient. The research includes finding out the success of a pedagogical worker in asylum house primarily with the help of reached targets made by clients. Non-verbal communication as one of the criteria for taking on pedagogical staff

6 ABSTRACT: Knowledge of individual elements of non-verbal communication is of great contribution for verifying submitted information, opening possibilities to view personal characteristics of given individuals. These pieces of knowledge can be successfully used during job interviews for pre-school institutions. This is one of the criteria, which can help discover desired qualities of future teachers, which are necessary for good work simultaneously helping to discover undesirable and problematic qualities. This thesis aims at detecting which features of non-verbal communication are most preferred by headmasters of pre-school institutions in the process of talking on new teachers. Instructions, created on the basis of the questionnaire evaluation and personal interviews, explain the most significant elements of non-verbal communication. These instructions can be used to help during job interviews. Planning of teaching staff in preschool

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to ascertain how kindergartens approach the planning of teaching staff. The theoretical part deals with basic principles of staff planning and methods and resources used in recruitment of employees and defines the notions of "teaching staff" and "kindergarten". The empirical part relies on survey data and its analysis. We research the problem of teaching staff planning in kindergartens. The exact methods are ascertained by analysing the following three topics: the current state of affairs in staffing sufficiency, the forms of teaching staff planning in use, and the sources of teaching staff used by kindergartens. We have ascertained that kindergartens are insufficiently staffed and, not infrequently, kindergartens are staffed with teaching staff who do not possess the legally required qualifications. Two fifths of kindergartens have a medium-term plan covering the needs for teaching staff, and the same number of kindergartens have a medium-term staffing plan for teaching assistants. This thesis explores the most common reasons for planned staffing requirements and ascertains how kindergartens deal with these situations and also how they approach overstaffing.
