Distance education of students with hearing impairment at the second grade of Primary School for the hearing impaired students

The theoretical part of the presented work focuses on the description of the characteristics of a secondary school pupil, hearing impairment and possibilities of education of pupils with hearing impairment in the Czech Republic. Finally, it touches on the issue of distance education, a theme that has currently been very topical. The aim of the practical part of the work was to describe the course of distance education of pupils with hearing impairment in the secondary school for the hearing-impaired during the closure of schools in the academic year 2020/2021. For the purposes of the work, three Czech secondary schools for the hearing-impaired were selected. To achieve the research goal, a qualitative research design was used. Eleven teachers from the selected schools were interviewed. The interviews were then analyzed by open coding. The results of the research showed that from the teachers' point of view, distance learning appears to be demanding, ineffective, and has a number of negative effects on students with hearing impairment such as social separation from the Deaf community they identify with at school. Teacher Perspective on Distance Learning at Primary School

This diploma thesis deals with the current state of distance education at the 1st stage of primary school (4th and 5th grade) year 2020/2021. The main part presents the management structures of distance education with the implementation of selected online's methods teaching and creation of materials' study (distance learning). These materials are making available to students with the possibility to provide feedbacks in both directions. It also deals with pedagogical and didactic aspects of distance education, including a comparison of differences between distance and full-time teaching (duration: January to June 2020 and September 2020 to May 2021). The empirical part of the thesis was carried out as action research. It compares the period of the beginning of distance learning, March 2020 - FIRST PHASE, with the period from October 2020 - SECOND PHASE. It also compares the performance of two selected students and the impact of distance education on their performance from January 2020 to May 2021. Supporting findings on the issue are substantiate by several methods (questionnaire survey, discussion with students and student results from tests). The master thesis deal with communication and cooperation between teachers and families on the first grade of elementary school follow up distance learning during state of emergency. It is about types of communication and cooperation between teachers and families which are used and also about pros and cons of distance learning or crucial conditions for distance learning. Theoretical part of the thesis deal with basic knowledges of communication, communication channels and barriers. One of the chapters is about pedagogical communication. Next chapters are focused on cooperation between school and family, especially on expectation from each sides and roles of parents connected to school. Distance education of primary school pupils

This thesis describes and discusses distance education of pupils at elementary school. It is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part defines the concept of distance education and its changes due to the changes in the Czech education related to the pandemic covid-19. Futhermore, some methodologies and recommendations for the organization of distance education and research are presented. Subsequently, the development of measure abroad is briefly outlined, some foreign studies are presented. Finally, the functions of the school and its importance in the child's life are briefly described. The empirical part describes the research, of which primary goal was to map the organization of distance learning at a selected primary school. The research sample consisted of 7 primary school teachers, as well as a headmaster and school special pedagogue. Based on the analysis of the data from interviews, the course of distance education was determined. The results suggest that the great advantage of the school, which facilitated the transition to distance learning, was the timely setting of rules and general principles of acces to distance learning. Digital competences of teachers and their specifics in the period of distance education

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis Digital competences of teachers and their specifics in the period of distance education, based on the analysis of relevant literature, deals with the specifics of distance learning and conducts a survey of existing national and international frameworks dealing with the level and development of digital competencies of teachers. It also works with the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu), which was created especially for educators and educational institutions as a certain standard for setting the level of digital technology skills. The aim of this work is to propose the addition of the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators with specific skills needed to lead distance learning. As part of a qualitative research survey, carried out in the empirical part of the work, nine teachers from different types of schools underwent observations in classes and then post-observation interviews. They focused not only on the course of teaching during distance learning but also tried to identify the necessary teaching equipment in the field of digital competencies. The diploma thesis addresses the Possibilities of stress minimazition for pupils at the lower secondary school with regard to pupils with special educational needs during distance education. It designs the tools and strategies that a regular city school can provide students with coping with stress and stressful situations in the ongoing distance education. The theoretical part defines the main concept associated with stress, stressors and strategies used in coping with stress and the concept of distance education. The practical part finds out what possibilities a regular city school has in reducing stress for pupils in the lower secondary school, including pupils with special educational needs in distance education based on the finding of the main stressors and strategies the pupils use to cope with stress and support. The method of the research survey is conducted in the form of structural interview. Based on the obtained research data it was found out which, in the opinion of pupils, are the main stressors in distance education and what strategies pupils use for processing workload and stress, including pupils with special educational needs. Possibilities of Distance Teaching the Czech Language at Primary School

The diploma thesis is focused on the search for opportunities for distance learning of the Czech language at primary schools. The aim of the work is to deal in detail and find out how distance learning of the Czech language takes place at primary schools and what is the level of adoption of teaching among pupils who are learning a distance form of study. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with a general treatise of primary education and education. It also briefly characterizes the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. Then it analyzes distance education in detail, briefly defines communication tools and in the end summarizes the subject Czech language and its teaching. The practical part contains two research surveys, which are structured in detail. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used.
