Yoga exercises and its influence on feelings of preschool teachers in the context of psychological workload.

The aim of this work is to find out whether the feelings of preschool teachers will change from the psychological load because of yoga exercises. Preschool teachers are exposed to many factors, which are burdensome for their mental health. Therefore, there is a need to pay attention to their mental health. The medium of mental hygiene in this thesis is yoga exercise, which also includes relaxation. There were three research methods used to create the research of this diploma thesis. The first one used was the Meister's standardized questionnaire. This questionnaire was used to determine the work related psychological burden of preschool teachers. Subsequently the method of semi-structured interview with five preschool teachers was used. These teachers also participated in a quasi-experiment. The main method is a four week quasi-experiment with 5 preschool teachers. These preschool teachers practiced yoga exercises and relaxation according to video lessons for 4 weeks. The output data were again provided by Meister's standardized questionnaire and a semi-structured interview with all 5 respondents. Yoga and it's effect on attention in preschool and early school age

The diploma thesis deals with yoga and it's effect on attention in preschool and early school age. The theoretical part talks about the issue of attention in childhood, the components of attention and the circumstances that affect child's development. There is also a description of the history and directions of yoga, the specifics of chlidren's yoga and the principles of the exercise itself. The theoretical part also describes the development of kids in preschool and early school age. The research part is devoted to research that took place in kindergarden and two primary schools in Prague. It lasted three months. There are hypotheses for this work based on the studied literature. The research set and it's creation are described here, as well as the research methods used. It describes the framework of the yoga lesson, attention test for both age groups and in the research part we can find tables of results of each class and their percentage improvement between input and output tests. Title: Yoga as a Solution to Hypokinesis Objectives of work: The aim of this work is be to determine whether yoga is like a set of physical and mental patterns and exercises, suitable and sufficient means to address hypokinesa, which is currently a serious problem of modern society. Method: This is a theoretical work, namely the vital importance lies in the study of literature. Subsequently in the analysis of retrieved informations and the deduction of new knowledge that will result from the study of literature. Results: Based on study of the literature and our own experience we come to the conclusion that yoga is an appropriate means to solve hypokinesis, but only if it is practiced in tis entirety, when it is accepted as a lifestyle with all areas of impingement, not only as a physical activity. Physiotherapy of patients with low back pain of viscerovertebral etiology.

Title: Physiotherapy of patients with low back pain of viscerovertebral etiology. Objectives: The objective of this study is to verify the significance of inclusion of procedures of a comprehensive therapeutic approach according to Eastern techniques to classical physiotherapy and to find out whether these Eastern techniques can contribute to the enrichment of standard physiotherapy. Another goal is to develop appropriate regimen measures according to TCM and Ayurveda, to create a yoga regimen suitable for patients who have renal and bladder dysfunction according to TCM and whose main common symptom is chronic non-specific low back pain. The study is based upon a comparison of a four-week physiotherapy program according to the physician's indication and a physiotherapy program enriched with compiled regimen measures and yoga exercises in selected probands. Title: Pedagogy of yoga due to population heath and targeted to extension positions and their effectivness to physiotherapy Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to clarify and collect sufficient information in the theoretical part about the anatomical, kinesiological and biomechanical aspects of the bending positions. After that, I will try to elaborate the theoretical background of yoga, its history, philosophy and a detailed description of selected bending positions (Usthrasana, Bhudjangasana, Urdhva mukha shvanasana), which are based on yoga. Grounded on the research questions in the practical part, I will assess whether there are discrepancies between the theoretical basis of the positions and the way they are taught in the classes today. I will evaluate how are the lessons currently taught in open yoga classes, whether they include those positions or not. I will also point out the use of compensatory aids and the degree education plays in this field. Alternative medicine in specialized media and the reflection of these phenomena in the selected mainstream press media

Diploma thesis "Alternative medicine in the specialized media and reflections of these phenomena in the selected mainstream press media" is researching specialized magazines with content oriented on alternative medicine emerging in the 90's of the previous century and in one case in the beginning of the 21st century. Thesis specifically examinates magazines - social magazine Reflex (on account of alternative medicine materials in the 1990 and 1991), Regena ( 1990 and 1991), Regenerace (1993 and 1994) and Meduňka (2004). In their first years magazines are described from historical and content perspective and in the same time they are contrasted with the topical volume of their predecessors (except of Reflex magazine). Another part of thesis is dedicated to observing two important czech daily papers - Mladá fronta / Mladá fronta Dnes and Lidové noviny (at the same observed periods). All five volumes of both periodicals contained numerous references which proves attractivity of these themes for society as a whole. While the analysis of specialized magazines was dealing with form by which are people interested in alternative medicine, reading of Mladá fronta / Mladá fronta Dnes and Lidové noviny evaluated general attitude of media to reader mostly uninitiated to these matters.
Specific of the school education for pupils with mild mental disability in the physical education classes with the choice to implement yoga elements

The thesis focuses on the issue of education of pupils with the slight mental disabilities in physical education classes, taking into account the possibility to implement elements of yoga and relaxation and its later influence on the pupils. In the theoretical section, the goal is to analyze the groundwork of term base for the quantitative research, examine the expression of a light mental disability, and engage with the physical education and concepts of yoga and relaxation. The empirical section focuses on development of the methodical resources for the teacher and subsequent assessment in the elementary school's enviroment.
