Scheduling in systems with multiple machines
Černý, Jan ; Pelikán, Jan (advisor) ; Zouhar, Jan (referee)
This paper focuses on characterization of scheduling in systems with one or multiple machines. There are different types of tasks given, with which we can encounter in scheduling. At the beginning, introduce basic concepts of production scheduling. The second chapter is a flowshop problem with its history and projections for the flowshop problem. In the next chapter is a modification of flowshop problem called hybrid flowshop, which is divided according flexibility to hybrid flowshop with processing flexibility and hybrid flowshop with routing flexibility. Another chapter is open shop problem, which have some differences compare with the above mentioned types. The last chapter is a job shop, stating in a graphical solution for two machines and a brief description of the algorithm Shifting bottleneck.

Preparing for the longest triathlon - Ironman
Mika, Tomáš ; Chrzanowská, Babeta (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
Triathlon is still a popular sport that is gaining more and morepopular. We distinguish two basic directions. Short, or if the Olympictriathlon and long, or if Ironman. In my work I examine the long triathlon. Its history, training cycle and its specifics. I myself an active rider, so this issue is very close to me. I work divided into a theoretical part, where I deal with theories and general laws of triathlon. Such as history, specifics of Ironman training and unit training cycle disciplines of triathlon course and other sub-themes, which veryclosely related to the topic. In the empirical part, I chose the method ofexperiment and research he firsthand, I attended a long distance triathlon race in the annualtraining cycle. Acquired knowledge, I capitalized on in the race and described in this thesis. This work may serve as a kind of guidance and example, and the direction of training, which can be applied when attempting to handle the challenge on behalf ofIronman. I deal with are also problems of nutrition during the race, which is out of a totaltrénovanosti organism one of the most important factors affecting performance. The workcontains several training and racing tips that I gained studying foreign literature and own racing experience.

The synthesis and development of new catalyst with the bipyridine scaffold.
Kadlčíková, Aneta ; Kotora, Martin (advisor) ; Starý, Ivo (referee) ; Veselý, Jan (referee)
1 Abstract Chiral N,N'-dioxides serve as very useful catalysts in various enantioselective reactions. I developed a simple and efficient method for preparation of new unsymmetrically substituted axially chiral bis(tetrahydroisoquinolines)-N,N'-dioxides, based on "one-pot" [2+2+2]-cyclotrimerization of a tetrayne with benzonitrile and (R)-tetrahydrofurancarbonitrile catalyzed by CpCo(CO)2 under microwave irradiation (scheme 1)1,2 . First, the prepared chiral N,N'-dioxides were used as catalysts in highly enantioselective allylations of variously substituted aromatic, aliphatic and α,β-unsaturated aldehydes. The corresponding homoallylalcohols were obtained with ee up to 99%. Two obtained chiral homoallylalcohols prepared by allylation were used as a building-blocks for synthesis of some natural products such as (S)-(-)-Goniothalamin (scheme 2)3 . Second, the chiral N,N'-dioxides were also used for the epoxide ring opening of various meso-epoxides with tetrachlorosilane giving rise to chlorohydrines in moderate enantioselectivities (up to 64% ee) (scheme 3)4 . De aeternitate mundi by St. Tomas Aquinas
Pluhař, Jiří ; Novotný, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Mohelník, Tomáš (referee)
This diploma thesis "De aeternitate mundi St. Thomas Akvinski" deals with one of the themes that are nowadays more or less omitted - the eternal world. It was one of the greatest intelectual arguments in the half of the 13th century. The result of those arguments was the clarification of the relations between theology and philosophy. The intense of these disputations led to the restriction of philosophical studies at university in Paris. Two groups of learners arose there. Not only were there philosophical disputes between these groups of scholars, but also political ones. We observe the life or a saint in this discomposed era. The saint, that looks for the truth honestly and for this fact he is criticized by both groups. It might be the reason why the publication De aeternitate mundi the brilliant and balanced work about our problem. A small diamond that glitters in the darkness of history.

The Construction of The Dam Orlik and The Impact on People{\crq}s Life in the Flooded Lands
KOUBA, Jan
The Construction of The Dam Orlik and The Impact on People{\crq}s Life in the Flooded Lands The dam Orlik - the main construction of government{\crq}s second five {--} year plan, which was begun to build in 1954 and was completed about nine years later, serves in presented work as phenomenon that had changed dramatically the life to many thousands people. Partly by taking their homes, partly by giving them the jobs. My work traces both of these views, which in addition often penetrate and instil them to Czechoslovakia 50´s of 20th century. The attention is turned - up firstly on the course of events before and after submersion Vltava´s valley, on obtaining information on the dam, on purchases of estates, on transmigration and resulting life without river. It is made by methods of micro history, enabled by interception of remembrances of several witnesses. Mapping atmospheres in the floodedland is interrupted by chapter On the Dam, which follows the events on the construction, progressive work, workers daily life, tendencies to bring the ideas of communism among workers, relationship between the dam and neighbourhood and her presentation on the outside. The work tries to open till this time neglected subject of big socialistic constructions that were one of the mail pillars of propagandists of communism regime.

Extended nominal coreference and bridging anaphora (an approach to annotation of Czech data in Prague dependency treebank)
Nedoluzhko, Anna ; Uličný, Oldřich (advisor) ; Hajičová, Eva (referee) ; Oliva, Karel (referee)
The dissertation presents one of the possible models of processmg extended textual coreference and bridging anaphora in a large textual corpora, which we then use for annotation of certain relations in texts of the Prague Oependency Treebank (POT). Based, on the one hand, on the literature concerning the theory of reference, discource and some findings of theoretical linguistics, and, on the other hand, using the existing methodology of annotations, we created a detailed classification of textual coreferential relations and types of bridging anaphora. Within textual coreference, we distinguish between two types of textual coreferential relations - coreferential relations between noun phrases with specific reference and coreferential relation between noun phrases with non-specific, primarily generic, reference. We determined six types of relations for bridging anaphora: relation PART- between part and whole; relation SUBSET - between a set and a subset or element of a set; FUNCT - between an object and a unique function on that entity; CONTRAST- between semantíc and contextual opposites; relation ANAF of anaphorical referencing between noncoreferencial objects; REST- for other examples of bridging anaphora. One of the goals of the research is to create a system of theoretical principals that would be used...

The collective novel in Danish literature: trying to find a definition of literary genre (based on books of H.C. Branner, H. Kirk, M.A. Hansen and H. Scherfig)
Do druhé skupiny řadíme např. tato díla: Martin A. Hansen: Teď to vzdává, Hans Scherfig: Promeškané jaro, H. C. Branner: Hračky.

The development and differentiation of Islamic law in Near East countries
Janoušková, Tereza ; Wintr, Jan (referee) ; Maršálek, Pavel (advisor)
Resumé Development and differentiation islamic law in countries of the Middle East Islamic law influences to a greater or lesser extent the nature of the system of governance in every Muslim country, the legal system and the social order in general. The aim of my work was to make an introduction to Islamic law, as seen from the angle of its historical evolution, sources and differentiation in evidence in every Muslim country in the Middle East. In the first chapter I defined the term the Middle East. This term is frequently used in the media but it is not always correctly interpreted. This is followed by a chapter devoted to the development of Islamic law, where I examined the main periods in its genesis, from the first appearance of Prophet Muhammad and the rule of the first four orthodox Caliphs, the dynasties of the Umayyads and Abbasids, to the advent of the Ottoman Empire. To the character of Islamic law I dedicated the fourth chapter, which describes its dominant features, so that the reader can put together a picture of how Islamic law should be approached. In the chapter on the sources of Islamic law I focused my attention on the four principal sources, i.e. the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the consensus of scholars and analogies. I equally paid attention to some supplementary sources and methods that...

Ramseyovské otázky v euklidovském prostoru
Cibulka, Josef
One of the problems in Euclidean Ramsey theory is to determine the chromatic number of the Euclidean space. The chromatic number of a space is the minimum number of colors with which the whole space can be colored so that no two points of the same color are at unit distance. We prove that the chromatic number of the six-dimensional real space is at least 11 and that the chromatic number of the seven-dimensional rational space is at least 15. In addition we give a new proof of the lower bound 9 for the chromatic number of the five-dimensional real space. We also simplify the proof of the lower bound 7 for the four-dimensional real space. It is known that the chromatic number of the n-dimensional real space grows exponentially in n. We show some of its subspaces, in which the growth is slower than exponential. We also summarize previous results for normed spaces in general and for some interesting non-Euclidean spaces.

Mistakes and errors in giving of the nursing care
TOMANOVÁ, Dana
In this bachelor{\crq}s work are presented the problems including some mistakes and errors during providing nursing care. The target of investigation was to identificate the most common mistakes in nurses` establish errors in the frame of nursing care then to identificate whether the public have ever met these mistakes in medical care. For conversion necessary information was chosen quantity research by questionary. There were determinated two research complexes. The first one were nurses who study adult education at the Health Social College in České Budějovice and second one were respondent of the public from South Bohemia Region.
