Tissue and clinical response to prevention of pentasaccharide
Trča, Stanislav ; Krška, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kittnar, Otomar (referee) ; Kvasnička, Jan (referee)
Administration of coagulation-active substances is one of the options to prevent thromboemboembolic disease (TED), including deep vein thrombosis and systemic response to stress entailed by an injury or a surgical procedure. Lately, a synthetic analogue of the heparin molekule - of its functionally active part - pentasaccharide (PS), has been developed, among others. Potential effects of different pharmacopreventive therapies of the deep vein thrombosis was studied in a group of 146 subjects, who suffered proximal femoral fractures and were operated in the Ist Surgical Clinic,VFN Hospital, during 2001-2006. The patients were randomized into 4 different anticoagulant groups (UFH, LMWH, PS short-term and PS long-term). Thromboembolic symptoms, selected postoperative complications and laboratory findings of selected blood count parameters, coagulation, active phase proteins and adhesion molecules, were monitored. The results indicate existing increased risk of the deep vein thrombosis and a lower rate of the coagulation and fibrinolytic cascade activation, suggesting a higher rate of the hemostatic status stability in the pentasaccharide groups, especially in the groups receiving the long-term pentasaccharide medication (over a month). Therefore, potential pentasaccharide protective effect preventing...

Music Therapy, Music Education and Adolescence (Issues concerning the stimulation of adolescents' interest in music education)
Weber, Jana ; Herden, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Slavík, Jan (referee) ; Mastnak, Wolfgang (referee)
Music plays an important role in our lives. Especially during puberty, music is an important part of an adolescent's influence which supports the development of identity. In today's world, music is disappearing from interpersonal relationships. School is often the last place where young people can learn about themselves and the world around them through music. Looking at music education from this perspective, teaching music could be instrumental in developping soft skills. Unfortunately music education is often given only marginal consideration on the education plan in Czech secondary schools. As a consequence neither school management nor pupils understand its significance and music classes become a gathering of people with no interest. In many schools music education loses its meaning and its potential is wasted. Based on ideas of music therapy and artefiletic, the aim of this work is to find possible ways to encourage the interest of adolescents in this field again. One option is to motivate students to link school life with their life outside of school. They can learn through their own experiences in creative activities and discussions. This work is heuristically oriented, i.e. we do not seek answers, but rather consider the issues and come up with new ideas for future work. Our goal is to offer music...

Pathogenetic mechanisms of diastasis recti abdominis muscle (DMRA) and its relationship with lumbar region symptoms
Bajnárek, Pavel ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Prokešová, Michaela (referee)
2 Method: Initially we reviewed current knowledge about pathogenic mechanisms leading to DMRA on the basis of printed and electronic literature sources. Subsequently we compared this theoretical information with available clinical data about DMRA pathogenic factors in various patients groups, its incidence, localization and extent. Theoretical clinical picture of lumbar region pathology, obtained from the literature review, was compared with case reports of patients with DMRA. Finally we reviewed literature dedicated to DMRA diagnosis and its therapeutic options. Conclusion: Clinical data about pathogenic mechanisms of DMRA in various patient groups are in a good agreement with theoretical expectations. Also clinical data about related pathologies of lumbar region, associated with presence of DMRA mainly in most expected areas, means lumbar spine, diaphragma and diaphragma pelvis, are with theoretical expectations also in a good agreement. Key words: diastasis reci abdominis. linea alba, vertebrogenic complaints, diaphragma, postural stabilization.

The aspects of labour class housing on the example of Ostrava and Zlin
Svozilová, Barbora ; Matějů, Martin (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to describe the housing situation of working c1ass during the transition from the society based on traditional values to the modem society of the twentieth century. Through the comparison of the housing facilities built to accomodate working c1ass people from Ostrava and Zlín, we can discover some important similarities and differences connected with approaches of the municipalities of these two settlements. Both of them chose the option to house working c1ass people on a mas s scale, but the results of their decisions ended up in two different urban formations. The examples of Ostrava and Zlín are analyzed from the interdisciplinary point of view (history, architecture, sociology and cultural studies) which provides an useful analytical tool to describe some interesting parallels and differences which emerged during their rapid development. The circumstances of their industrial boom substantially intluenced the structure and proportions of these places. The prevailing industrial character of the production was the most itluential factor which formed two unique uban areas. The text points out the key characteristic and urban features of Ostrava and Zlín and their working c1ass settlements. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Information about tobacco, tobacco products, hookahs; methods of application and theirs usage restriction
Kramařík, Ivo ; Bártová, Jiřina (advisor)
The topic of his thesis information about tobacco , tobacco products , water dýmkách ; methods of their use and possibilities of reducing their use of I chosen on the basis of its several years of continuing interest in the issue drugs and their effects on the human organism . Already in the third year Master's degree 3 University Department 'm under an optional course Neurobiology - therapy and prevention of drug addiction wrote a seminar paper LSD and ecstasy and use in therapy. Addictive substances, whether we want to admit it or not , are part of everyday life around us. And so I think that it is necessary before this social problem , which certainly addictive substances are , do not close your eyes and not to look that actually nothing. This is particularly true in the field of socially positively accepted drugs such as alcohol or nicotine , which is above the steaming drunk teenagers today Unfortunately, almost no one suspends .

Chronic pelvic pain syndrome
Kolouch, Tomáš ; Urban, Michael (advisor)
The theme of my work " chronic pelvic pain syndrome " ( CPPS - Chronic pelvic pain syndrome ) I chose a variety of reasons . First of all, this is a very common and very annoying diseases affecting the quality of life , just as it occurs eg in Crohn disease , myocardial infarction, diabetes mellitus or congestive heart failure . Symptoms that are associated with CPPS , they encounter during their lives every fifth man . It is one of the most common urological disease patients across races, social groups, and age, then there is the highest incidence between 36 and 50 years , between diseases among men older than 50 years, is the third most common diagnosis . From celebrities who have suffered from the disease is Former U.S. President John F. Kennedy , the author of Sophie's Choice by William Styron . The theory of this syndrome is often unclear with a large number of options , as well as therapy is inherently more complex , whose activity is linked to the supposed origin of the disease in of a particular patient , often leads to failure. Taking care of such a patient is interdisciplinary starting urologist , surgeon , continuing through to physiotherapists to psychologists and psychiatrists .

Prevention of the development of motor disorders by using Vojta therapy - specificity and sensitivity of the indication tests of posture reactions
Kofránková, Marie ; Doležal, Aleš (advisor)
Do MUDr.Doležala surgery I got in compulsory optional course "Children and adolescents with disabilities" kept MUDr.Palyzovou. This internship I was intrigued, so I have the theme of my thesis so i chose to deepen their knowledge and ability to monitor the psychomotor development of the child, his disorder, and I knew (and could further recommend) the possibility of preventing the development of these disorders. Research on the effectiveness of Vojta reflex locomotion methods discussed in many authors before me, and their results speak in favor of this method (this the experimental study). My work deals with diagnostic tests - positional response of the child. In the event that the response does not correspond to a given position developmental stage at which the child according to his age should be, it is appropriate correct the broken motor development as just Vojta, we prevent later complications. It is of course necessary to monitor psychomotor comprehensive child development - how it manifests itself spontaneously, what has reflexes sval.tonus, corresponds to the position of individual reactions. Postural reactions to some benefits - are not influenced by the current mood of the child in the office (they are always the same) and their use can be determined motorized vulnerable children earlier than...

Active imagination. Options and risks
Teoretickým východiskem a základem naší práce Je analytická psychologie. Další vzdělávání a nové profesní zkušenosti poskytly autorce mnoho podnětů k vypracování obdobně tématicky zaměřené rigorózní...

Mírka, Hynek ; Kreuzberg, Boris (advisor) ; Neuwirth, Jiří (referee) ; Heřman, Miroslav (referee)
Value of HRCT in the diagnostics of pulmonary complications of malignant haematologic diseases. Early diagnosis is one of the essential conditions for successful therapy of heamatologic malignancies and their complications. Imaging methods play an important role in their detection and patient's management. HRCT is the most contributing method in the diagnostics of pulmonary involvement, which is very common in this group of patients. The aim of this thesis was to find out the potential of this method in the diagnostics of pulmonary complications in patients with haematologic malignancy. For this purpose were assessed 4 objectives: 1) comparison between HRCT and chest X-ray; 2) determination of capability of HRCT to make a specific diagnose; 3) definition of indication criteria for HRCT and 4) assignment of the suitable examination technique. In the time period from January 2000 until December 2005 were performed 214 HRCT examinations of the lungs in the group of 162 patients with haematological malignancy and pulmonary symptomatology. 176 examinations were compared with chest X-ray, which was performed 48 hours or less before HRCT. Pulmonary lesion was discovered in 180 cases (84,1%). 123 findings were confirmed by another method (response to a specific therapy, cultivation, serology, BAL or...
