Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz

The subject of this work is revitalization of a part of Květná garden in Kroměříž. This solution is focused on functional division and hierarchy of spaces. The project was created with emphasis od historical context and composition of historical gardens. Project investigates possibilities of moving the entrance into the historical gardens, so that it would compliment the historical and compositional qualities of the gardens. The new entrance also suits the function of the garden better. The foreland is dividend into several hierarchically arranged spaces with various measure of attractiveness. All the spaces are designed to supplement the main area of the garden, not to dominate it. Basis of the design is dramatical visitor center and pulling of the half-public space into the organism of gardens.

Analysis development programs of Department of Culture for support activities in public libraries

Tématem práce je analýza a popis rozvojových programů Ministerstva kultury ČR, které představují jednu z možností financování knihoven v České republice. Práce je rozdělena do dvou základních kapitol. První část se věnuje dotační politice MK ČR, legislativnímu vymezení, organizační struktuře a hodnotí grantový proces na základě SWOT analýzy. Stěžejní část práce se věnuje analýze jednotlivých programů: Česká knihovna, Knihovna 21. století, Program na podporu zajištění výkonu regionálních funkcí knihoven, VISK, Projekt internetizace knihoven a programům v oblasti výzkumu a vývoje knihoven. Analýza programů vychází z hodnocení statistických dat, které podávají ucelený přehled o průběhu a výsledcích programů. Základními ukazateli jsou: financování, počet zastoupených subjektů a výsledky, které daný program přinesl. Práce hodnotí programy od doby vzniku až po současnost. V případě, že byly modifikovány ze starších projektů, je odkázáno i na jejich historii.

Quantitative analysis of the project of civic amenities

This Thesis is focused on analysis of real project in Studený village. In introductory chapter there is detailed analysis and evaluation of the implemented project of multipurpose playground, using project management tools. Current situation of Studený village is ilustrated by using SWOT analysis. On the real project of the multipurpose playground there are also explaind strog and week parts of future using of the playground and it draws attention on its threats and opportunities. In theoretical part there are described methods of multicriterial decision making, expert team selection models, theory of social selection and project managment methods. In the following chapter there is shown practical utilization, on the real projetct of multipurpose playground in Studený, according to TOPSIS, AHP and ORESTE methods. Attention is drawn on possible problems with social selection using Dodgsons examples and there are suggested countermeasures with help of Condorcets funcion and SPAN method. The Thesis shows the necessity of these methods and their application on a real project.

The Indefinite Article as a Signal of the Countable Use of Uncountable Nouns

The Indefinite Article as a Signal of Countable Use of Uncountable Nouns The present thesis deals with the role of premodification in the countability of nouns. More specifically, it concentrates on the dual class nouns, i.e. nous that are used both countably and uncountably. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether the presence of premodification results in the countable use of dual class nouns. Also, the semantics of the premodifiers is taken into account. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes information from grammar books and describes the category of countability. All of the types of nouns, i.e. countable, uncountable and dual class, are characterized. Semantic classification of adjectives is included, too, as adjectives are the most frequent noun class in terms of premodification. The empirical part of the thesis concentrates on the analysis of specific examples and aims to decide the impact of the presence of premodification on the dual class nouns. For these purposes, three nouns were chosen (difference, interest, language) and fifty instances of each noun were excerpted from the British national corpus. The changes of hearing function during the postnatal development

8 přítomny spontánní otoakustické emise (SOAE). Amplitudy otoakustických emisí TEOAE, jejichž frekvenční spektrum leželo v rozmezí 0,5-8 kHz, se výrazně snižovaly s věkem. Vysokofrekvenční sluchová ztráta se tedy může odrazit ve snížení amplitudy TEOAE měřené na nízkých a středních frekvencích. Vyhodnocení sluchových ztrát v rozšířeném frekvenčním pásmu spolu se záznamem TEOAE a SOAE může napomoci detekci počínajících sluchových poruch v dětském věku, které nemohou být odhaleny klasickou audiometrií s frekvencí do 8 kHz. Ve studii byly dále hodnoceny audiologické charakteristiky dětí a mladistvích trpících tinnitem různé etiologie a porovnány s obdobnými vyšetřeními u kontrolní skupiny stejně starých dobrovolníků. U jednotlivých pacientů nebyla nalezena korelace mezi původem tinnitu a výsledky audiometrických testů, tj. tónovým audiogramem a výsledky záznamu evokovaných otoakustických emisí (TEOAE a DPOAE). Byl zjištěn pouze významně nižší výskyt SOAE (44,6 % uší) u mladých pacientů s tinnitem v porovnání s 62,5% uší v kontrolní skupině dětí a mladistvých. Nicméně byla pozorována silná závislost amplitud a frekvenčních charakteristik TEOAE a DPOAE na stupni sluchové ztráty bez ohledu na zdroj tinnitu. Title: Physiological response of competitors Fireball dinghy class in the model sailing race. Objectives: The main intention of the thesis is to detect the physical demands (difficulties) of sailing boat race categorized as Fireball double crew. The variables of physiological response to the load of competitors recorded are being measured using simulated race under laboratory conditions. At that point, this opportunity enabled us to carry out further comparisons and examine the physical demands of individual post at various directions of wind. Methods: The entire investigation of detecting physiological functions of competitors will be carried out noninvasively throughout the simulation of sailing using metabolic analyser tool and sport tester. From the feedback, we will obtained figures and originate the physiological response of human body to the load. Due to the investigation is being implemented on the double crew boat Fireball; both competitors (crew/helmsman) performing different tasks will be simulated and examined individually. Simulated race will last 24 minutes and competitors will have to face different wind courses, precisely cruising upwind, crosswind and tailwind. Figures of speech in translation contemporary Venezuelan press

Diplomová práce se dělí na dvě části. První část se teoreticky věnuje metafoře a metonymii v české a španělské terminologii, definici populismu, specifickému jazyku politiků a v neposlední řadě způsobům překladu rétorických figur z češtiny do španělštiny. Druhá se na základě analýzy srovnatelného vzorku venezuelských a českých publicistických textu zaměřuje na srovnání typů a frekvence rétorických figur s důrazem na jejich funkci v populisticky orientovaných textech. Jako referenčních textů bylo využito španělské přednášky El Libertador Simon Bolívar y su papel en la revolución emancipadora de la América Espaňola (1930) a jeho českého překladu, druhým textem je časopis 8 Estrellas vydávaný Velvyslanectvím Venezuelské republiky v ČR. V rámci výzkumu byly použity statistické metody jako modus, medián, aritmetický průměr nebo průměrná odchylka (relativní a absolutní).

Japanese particles "ni" and "de"

Partikule jsou nepostradatelným pojivem v japonské větě, mezi jejímiž členy slouží vztahotvorně. Pádové partikule ( , kakudžoši) přibližně odpovídají v českém jazyce skloňování jmen, případně jmennému spojení s příslušnou předložkou, či spojkám. Stejně jako celá japonština se i funkce partikulí vyvíjely, obsah této práce by však měl odpovídat modernímu, spisovnému jazyku. Pádové partikule ni a de mají každá několik funkcí. Některé jsou evidentně rozdílné, některé mohou být pro nerodilého mluvčího zdánlivě zaměnitelné. Právě objasnění těchto otázek, co se týče nezaměnitelnosti partikule ni a de, je motivem následujících stránek. Kapitoly popisující funkce partikule ni a de sestávají z kategorií (seřazených přibližně dle frekvence použití), jejich popisu, případných výjimek a upřesňujících informací a také z konkrétních příkladů. Ty jsou uvedeny v japonštině, české transkripci a s českým překladem, který je shodný s česky psaným zdrojem, nebo je vytvořený přímo z japonského znění, či je přeložený s přihlédnutím k anglickému překladu. Část o problematických případech naznačuje rozdíly v jazykovém myšlení českého a japonského mluvčího. V komparativní části se snažím ukázat na osvědčených případech, jakým způsobem ovlivňuje použití jedné či druhé partikule smysl výpovědi. Tato práce vychází z gramaticky...

The ongoing changes in the category of identification in contemporary standard and non-standard Czech

While the category of in/definiteness in Czech and other Slavonic languages (except Bulgarian and Macedonian, cf. Corbett - Comrie, 2002) is not expressed by articles, the present paper is concerned with the observation that in contemporary spoken nonstandard Czech a) the demonstrative pronoun ten is developing functions of a definite article, and b) the indefinite pronoun nějaký is developing functions of an indefinite article (alongside with the numeral jeden). On the basis of quantitative analysis, I will demonstrate that this development is ongoing predominantly in spoken non-standard Czech, in which speakers mark identification even if it is obvious from other means (e.g. functional sentence perspective), whereas in standard Czech this tendency is still avoided. Methodologically this paper starts from grammaticalisation theory, according to which frequently used expressions are in certain contexts syntactically and morphological1y reanalyzed, and after having grammaticalised, they continue to develop new grammatical functions (cf. Traugott 1995). The general trend in the field of grammaticalisation is that new means are first very productive in spoken language and pervade standard language only after that. Use of Various Regeneration Methods for Eliminating Fatigue in Ice-Hockey Players

Name: Using regenerations processes at ice-hockey players Objective: Estimation of efficiency regenerations methods during relaxation at junior players and interpretation chances ofusing these methods in sports practise. Method: Intraindiviual comparative case study at junior categories of HC České Budějovice. For estimation of efficiency regeneration methods we exploit blood lactate after weighting and decreasing blood lactate with using regenerations processes. Results: Result showed possibility and quantum precipitate recoveries period after intensive weighting with using regenerations processes (running and stretching) at young players. Keywords: blood lactate, hearth rate, ice hockey, regeneration, weighting. The long-term preparation require not just peďect leading each training units, but above all master training planning. Present researches showed, that it is necessarily the training load compensate with sufficient and qualitative rest. Just for the heck of it is it possible stepwise increased training loads, and efficiency of sportsman. All planning come out from super compensation principles and biological adaptation.
