Security protection of the Czech republic police structures from current threats

The thesis deals with security protection of the Police of the Czech Republic buildings against new kinds of safety threats and risks. In the thesis I specify possibilities, methods and means of the security protection aimed to eliminate or at least to diminish these threats as much as possible. In the first section called {\clqq}The legal framework for security protection of buildings{\crqq} I give an account of the the most important legal regulations. I analyse the current system of the fight against organized crime and terrorism and authorities established to be in charge of the fight. The following section of my thesis gives an analysis of crucial issues {--} safety measures for security protection of the police station buildings and the persons inside those buildings in the event of emergency incidents and breakdowns. It also refers to the Critical Incident Management Plan (CIMP). This is the basic framework for critical incident preparedness. It applies to all units to cover every unit´s individual needs. It specifies individual methods of protecting police station buildings {--} the security guard, the regime measures and the protection by technical means. It explains the regime measures to protect the buildings and specifies the technical means and states how these means can be used. It also mentions and assesses the possible risks and the exposure to hazard. The next section of my thesis examines the probability and possibility of an emergency incident as a result of trap explosive system usage. I describe the response to findings of such explosives or other suspicious objects in a police station building and the response to an explosion both in the inside and the outside of the police station building. The closing section of my thesis analyses activities necessary to be carreid out after a critical incident threat or a direct assault. There are four levels of measures according to severity and potential impact of emergency incident. To obtain the data on the police station buildings security protection I used the quantitative research. The research was conducted in the Prachatice region.

Social networks in the lives of teenagers

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to discover what role the SNS (Social Network Sites) and the Internet play in lives of today's teenagers. Primarily, how much time this age group devotes to those phenomenons mentioned above, what importance it assignes to them and what attitude teenagers, their parents and teachers assume to risks bound to life in an online world. The theoretical framework of the thesis is based on, apart from setting this topic into the historical context of the evolution of the Internet and SNS, most importantly on the work of danah boyd, Sonia Livingstone and Zeynep Tufekci. There are, among others, distinguished the types of SNS, analysed the reasons for using the SNS, described the most frequent risks associated with use of the Internet, but also clarified some of the rumours and myths usualy connected with the online world. Moreover, in the theoretical part I introduce the actual deviding of SNS according to the extent of anonymity of the users of Anonymous SNS, Quasi-Anonymous SNS and Non-Anonymous SNS. This deviding is based on the application of internal institutions according to Stefan Voigt in the Internet environment. Policy of Inactivity: Issue of Gender Equality In Czech Science Policy

This diploma thesis examines issues of gender equality in the Czech science policy. The essay consists on defining of the problem, including a summary of the current state of research and empirical evidence, it outlines commitments of the CR in the field of gender equality and review current science policies. The thesis also analyzes the institutional support and influence of actors in the process of formulation and creation of science policies and their stance on the issue of gender equality in science. The final section is devoted to analysis of the construction of the problem of gender equality in science in the speeches of leading actors of science policy. In methodological terms, the work is comming out form the constructivist paradigm and a feminist perspective. The basic method of data analysis is discourse analysis.

Perception of family by clients of Educational Institute Klíčov

Výzkumná sonda se zaměřuje na pojetí své rodiny klienty Výchovného ústavu Klíčov, jak vnímají ostatní rodinné příslušníky a jak jsou vnímáni oni sami ze strany rodičů. Sleduje vývoj rodinných vztahů v období před nařízením ústavní výchovy, během ní a po jejím skončení. Formou narativního výzkumu zpracovává autobiografické vyprávění pěti bývalých klientů Výchovného ústavu Klíčov. Analyzuje tato vyprávění, určuje společná životní témata (hranice v životě, vzpoura a únik, nepřijetí místa bydliště jako domova, ústavní výchova, rodina) a hledá principy, které ovlivnili vývoj rodinných vazeb participantů. Detailně jejich pohledem zpracovává: Vztah rodiny k participantům; vztah participantů k rodině; vnímání participantů své rodiny jako celku. Určuje z poskytnutých vyprávění přínos ústavní výchovy pro jedince (dokončení školy; naučení se dodržovat pravidla a přijmout hranice společností vymezené; možnost srovnání své životní zkušenosti se zkušeností jiných klientů). Zamýšlí se nad úlohou ústavní výchovy.

Evaluation of implementation webinars to further teachers education in Liberec region

The work deals with the issues of webinar organizing and synchronous online learning in a virtual classroom. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part particularly pays attention to ICT and e-learning in the area of adult education and to modern trends in online communication and cooperation. The practical part is focused on the area of synchronous live learning in a virtual classroom and it evaluates the supply situation and the use of webinars in the Czech republic. The practical part also presents author's survey among the teachers in Liberec region. Lastly, it provides the webinar case study and subsequently it discusses and evaluates its progress. The diploma thesis responds to innovation in ICT and contributes to current development and the use of webinars in adult education.

Statistical analysis of beekeeping in Vysočina region and prediction of it is future development

This diploma thesis analysis selected indicators from beekeeping in 2005-2015 in region Vysočina. Diploma thesis analysis, development of number of beehives, number of beekeepers, number of beehives per beekeeper and production of honey in region Vysočina. Diploma thesis calculate trends of development of these time series and predict their development to the future. These indicators are very interesting, not just because of production of honey and recreational function of beekeeping, but mainly because of pollination. Without bees crop yields would decrease rapidly and from landscape would disappear a lots of plants. That is why it is important to whole agriculture if they can count on pollination by bees. Diploma thesis also analysis numbers of beehives and numbers of beekeepers divided to groups by number of beehives per beekeeper in region Vysočina and their development between years 2010 and 2015. Thesis also contains questionnaire made in population of region Vysočina. This questionnaire finds out consumption of honey of population of Vysočina and their habits and preferences in shopping and consuming honey. Conclusion of thesis is prediction of development of beekeeping in Vysočina and recommendation of future steps for further development of this field.

The Red Army Fraction - Left Terrorism in Germany

This thesis deals with the theme of the Red Army Fraction. Special emphasis is put on the cooperation between the West-German terrorist organization and the State Security of the German Democratic Republic. This thesis follows genesis of the left terrorism in the Federal Republic of Germany in the context of cooperation with the GDR Ministry of Security. The first part of the work analyses the origin of the group, followed by its activities until the end. The next part is devoted to a brief survey of bilateral contacts of both the German states from the mid 60s to the late 80s of the last century. This is the basis for the following chapter. The relevant part of this thesis is represented by chapter 3 which gives analysis of the competition between Stasi and RAF terrorist groups, from the early contacts of the 1st RAF generation members. It mentions the participation of Bewegung 2.Juni terrorist group in the development of the true competition of the so called Second Generation of RAF and Stasi, and, consequently, chapter 3 offers the analysis of the reasons for which the special RAF terrorist group left for the GDR {the so called aussteigers}, from their integration, special tasks fulfilling in the frame of the conception of RAF -Stasi cooperation until their arrest in 1990. Analysis of the Building Savings Market in the Czech Republic and its prospects

Building savings is a good way of financing citizens housing needs. This thesis deals with a statistical analysis of the building savings market in the Czech Republic. Using elementary characteristics of time series it analyzes the number of new contracts, including an increase in the target amounts since 2000, which shows the impact of legislative changes that have affected the product. In great detail it also analyzes the business results of several building societies in the years 2010-2015, which involves the number of new contracts, including an increase in the target amount, the volume of target amounts, the number and volume of new loans. Based on the behavior of these indicators in recent years a possible development in 2016 is predicted. The conclusion presents suggestions and recommendations for a further development of savings in a building society.

Statistical analysis of the development of tourism in Kutná Hora region and its prospects

The bachelor work analyzes the development of tourism in the most important sights of Kutná Hora. In the theoretical part are defined important terms and organizations that contribute to the development of tourism. The development of number of visitors (cathedral of saint Barbora, church Všech svatých with ossuary and kathedral Nanebevzetí Panny Marie a sv. Jana Křtitele) is at first characterised by means of basic characteristics of time series. The estimates of the number of visitors in the year 2016 are then calculated by using trend functions. There were used three of them linear, quadratic and exponential and then, based on the highest value of the determination index, the one that best corresponds with the trend in the number of visitors was chosen. Next, the development in the number of collective accommodation facilities, rooms and beds in the district of Kutná Hora between the years 2009 and 2014 was researched. After that, the development of the number of guests and overnight stays in the years 2013 and 2014 was analysed and the total number was divided into two categories residents and nonresidents. Based on the analyzes were formulated suggestions and recommendations for further development of tourism in the region of Kutna Hora. The underlying data for these analyses were obtained from the Czech Statistical Office, the Roman Catholic parish archdeanery Kutná Hora and the Roman Catholic parish of Sedlec.
