Evaluation of LMS Moodle's functionality for the purpose of supporting the application administrator

This bachelor thesis deals with administrator environment of the Learning Management System Moodle. The aim is to provide a basic outline of the alternatives for administrative tools supporting the learning procedure in Moodle and to create a user's guide for LMS Moodle. The characterisation focuses on the administration of users, courses, modules, appearances, security and some other basic settings. A brief survey on functioning of the system among Czech universities is also a part of this thesis. Finally I give a summary of over-all advantages and disadvantages of LMS Moodle and its suitability for business sector. The survey shows the users' level of satisfaction and their abilities in operating LMS Moodle in accordance with their user's status (administrator, teacher or student). The last chapter centres on the new Moodle for mobile technologies. The actual survey and the description of advantages and disadvantages of e-learning are attached.

The bearing of the latest recession on the trends in the aviation industry in the Czech republic

This thesis aims at an assessment of the bearing of the latest recession on the trends and developments in the aviation industry in the Czech republic. The first part presents an outline of the situation of aviation industry during the economic recession and succintly characterises the current state of the aviation industry in the Czech republic. The second part focuses on the developments in aviation industry in the Czech republic in course of the economic recession and analyzes its effect on particular trends in the aviation industry. Concluding chapter evaluates the current situation in the industry based on analysis of the supporting data.

Historical development of the legal regulation of the residential ownership institution

57 Summary The aim of my thesis is to outline historical development of institute of ownership of apartments and his changes due to economical progress and political changes. In our country institute of ownership of apartments was put into practice by Act No. 52/1966 Collection of law. Although this law was very progressive compare the period and situation when it was adopted, it didn't reach quality of acts set up institute of ownership of apartments in western European countries. Modern institute of ownership of apartments with all appropriateness, which are matter of course everywhere in the Word, was initiated finally by Act No. 52/1966 Collection of law . Description of development of institute of ownership of apartments should help to understand better current legal regulation of ownership of apartments and disclose main drawbacks persisting from the past or deficiencies by legislator never solved. In first chapters my aim is to define conception of ownership and idea of apartment according to regularization and interpretation made by person with degree. Above all the interpretation of conception of apartment is quite difficult and in our legal order unsolved. Feminist Interpretation of the Qur'an

The aim of this paper is to introduce the feminist interpretation of the Qur'ān in its main features and to try to define its key hermeneutical principles. First, the historical formation and development of Qur'ānic exegesis (tafsīr) is outlined with special attention to particular exegetical trends of the twentieth century. Second, the reader is introduced with the historical context of the origin of feminist movement in Muslim society and its basic characteristics and categorization (two types of feminism constituted in the course of time - secular and Islamic). The main chapter examines feminist interpretation of the Qur'ān based on the work of four leading feminist authors (Riffat Hassan, Azizah al- Hibri, Amina Wadud a Asma Barlas) and presents its central themes and methodology. Tone and word accent in contemporary Serbian of Kosovska Mitrovica region

The subject of the thesis is the contemporary state of lexical pitch accents system in Serbian of Kosovska Mitrovica region. The theoretical background of the thesis is mainly based on Pavle Ivić's, Ilse Lehiste's, Asim Peco's and Svetlana Godjevac's papers. The thesis briefly outlines the development of Serbian lexical pitch accents and discusses the contemporary state of the system from the above mentioned authors' perspective. On the basis of recordings of texts read by native speakers from Kosovska Mitrovica the thesis describes the system of pitch accents in the region. By measuring the course of F0 in stressed and following syllables the thesis analyses the realization of respective types of lexical pitch accents, their mutual similarities and differences. With regards to these results the thesis makes conclusions about the state of the system in the region.

Skiing of children with Down syndrome

Title: Skiing for children with Down syndrome Aim of thesis: To verify if ski course exemplar prepared for children with Down syndrome, of age 6-12 yrs, is suitable. To compare motor abilities of children with Down syndrome with the abilities of able-bodied children, in skiing specifically. To call attention to important outlines of the work and coaching in children with Down syndrome. Method: The ski course exemplar was tested by qualitative observation of three pairs of children (always an able-bodied child and a child with Down syndrome of the same age). The qualitative observation was aimed at mastering ski skills during the course and following analyses. Results: The ski course exemplar was suitable. Children with Down syndrome are able to learn basic ski skills and in case of previous experience, they are able to improve them. The conditions, that go along with and support this process, are: an assistant- instructor (e.g. one of the parents), variability and frequent exchange of activities and compliance with principles of work with children with Down syndrome. Comparation of tutorials of Basics of Informatics among several European Universities

The thesis deals with the comparation of tutorials of Basics of Informatics among several European Universities. At the beginning there is outlined which topics should the lessons include. In every topic there is description of content of individual topics, which are brought together into the one ideal course tutorial. Then there are examined educational systems in different European countries. Several universities are chosen according to the various criteria, their educational programs and lessons dealing with informatics are also described there. The individual syllabi are compared in eight criteria which are based on the ideal course tutorial where every single criterion has a different stress according to the conclusion of their descriptions. There are also confronted particular study programs in european universities according to their education of informatics. At the end of the thesis there is its own summary of outputs and contributions.

Declension in textbooks of Czech for foreigners - intended for methodology of instruction of Czech as second language

The thesi s intends to contribute to the methodology of teaching of Czech as a foreign language, name1y to focus on the way dec1ension is presented in textbooks of Czech for Foreigners. The first chapter of the paper outlines the main aspects of -- - ---- Didactics of second language acquisition, particularly main methodical" theories, curriculum, its goals and implementation in the courses, psychological basis of second language teaching and learning and, finally, the linguistic sources. The second chapter examines the current situation of Czech for foreigners, its needs and demands. The main emphasis is put on the textbooks analysis ~specially methods of dec1ension presentation. For the analysis I use 6 examples of textbooks which are either the most commonly used in the Czech Republic and Germany, or bring a specific approach to the dec1ension subject. The core of the paper is based on comparison of the horizontal and vertical structuring of dec1ension presentation in the examined textbooks and my suggestion of a possible altemative to both of the mentioned concepts. By using the advantages of both of them I try to create a compromise between them to make dec1ension teaching and learning more effective and attractive for both teachers and leamers. Conversion of industrial building into cultural site used for theatrical purposes and scenic dance

The bachelor thesis is focused on conversions of industrial buildings into cultural sites which are used for purposes of theatre and scenic dance. The goal of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate condition of these real industrial monuments in the Czech Republic. Several selected objects are compared with examples from abroad and suggestions for improvement or opportunities for possible further development are discussed. The main objective of this thesis is a theoretical definition of industrial buildings and their categorization. Furthermore, the history of industrial heritage and the beginnings of its heritage protection are investigated. The thesis briefly summarizes transformations of the architecture which is related to industrial buildings primarily in the course of the last century. Further, the possibilities of transformation of industrial sites and their animation are discussed. Economical and socio-economic aspects of these aforementioned projects and possibilities of their new use are an important part of the thesis. The following practical part is focused specifically on the Ponec theatre and afterwards, similar examples of conversions in the Czech Republic are outlined. The aim of this practical part is to compare and apply the findings from the analysis of the historical, functional and economical aspects of this selected object from abroad into the example of the Ponec theatre.

Strategy planning of IQFF Mezipatra

The thesis aims to identify strengths and threats of the International Queer Film Festival Mezipatra using methods of strategic analysis and qualitative research and then propose a course of action in future years. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the structure of the festival, the specifics of non-profit organizations and also characterizes the selected strategic analysis procedures. In the practical part I analyze the festival through the steps of strategic analysis and also use informal talks with members of the organizing staff and my own experience with executive positions at the festival and outline the current status of activities and further direction for the festival.
