The aim of the Master´s Thesis is implementation of the strategic analysis for the non-governmental organization OD5K10, z. s., considering the external environment and also the internal resources, which are available for the organization, and in this way reveal all the factors which have impact on its economy. For analysis of the macro-environment PEST analysis is used. In analysis of the micro-environment there are indetified forces, which can affect an ability of the organization to satisfy the needs of its clients (either customers themselves or competitors, suppliers, community). We can not forget also internal analysis, where resources of this subject, its financial management and its reliability are described and analyzed. The important part of the thesis is the synthesis of the results, where strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are summarized.

Egypt in the years of British patronage, 1882-1899. The contribution to the history of British emipre in the 19th century
Valkoun, Jaroslav ; Kovář, Martin (advisor) ; Skřivan, Aleš (referee)
Primarily, Great Britain occupied Egypt due to strategic and defence reasons (a route to India) in 1882; commercial and financial interests appeared secondary. At first the British Government again and again alleged that soldiers would leave as soon as they would establish the order and tranquillity and would renew the authority of the Khedive. Her Majesty's Government repeated this allegation more then sixty times until the WWI broke out. Between the years 1882 and 1914 Egypt was neither a colony nor protectorate de iure, nevertheless the British Consul-General in Cairo administrated the country in a de facto colonial way; the Khedive symbolised only the formal Head of State. During the ensuing decades, the British realised economic, politic, and administrative reforms. Improvement of irrigation system meant the greatest achievement. In the nineties, the reorganization of the Egyptian Administration caused the rise of the nationalist movement, which in 1906 culminated in Dinshaway Incident that forced the well-known proconsul Lord Cromer to leave Egypt. The Sudan always influenced Egyptian events. In 1885 the Mahdi and his followers conquered Khartoum and the rest of the Sudanese territory. Thirteen years later the Mahdists were routed by the British-Egyptian army at the Battle of Omdurman and than both...

Vomáčka, Petr ; Molnár, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Vejlupek, Tomáš (referee)
The main theme of the thesis is the application of methods of information and knowledge-based disciplines - Competitive Intelligence on the building industry of the Czech Republic. The first part provides a comprehensive overview of theoretical information which are necessary to describe Competitive Intelligence. From the outset, it gradually forms detailed description about the entire field as far as detailed procedures with the application of various analytical methods, in the form of formalized definitions of Competitive Intelligence. The most common methods which are listed below in particular are SLEPT analysis, SWOT analysis, an analysis of five porter forces, BCG matrix, and others. The practical part of work is an application of process and methods of Competitive Intelligence on the Czech building market. This part gradually specifies individual steps of analysis (definition of objectives, procedures, identification and exploitation of information resources, etc.) and presents its final output, which is suitably complemented with a description of information resources. Chapter concludes the summary of the main trends and factors involved in the building industry, which complements the recommendations for the building companies to increase their competitiveness. There is also important summary and characteristics of selected information sources.

Determination of the plasticity of lactose
Juhaňáková, Jana ; Řehula, Milan (advisor) ; Musilová, Marie (referee)
Juhaňáková Jana - Rigorózní práce - 2006 This work deals with the determination of tablet plasticity made of Tablettose 70 using stress relaxation method. Theoretical part of the work describes preparation and characterization of the tablets. It deals in detail with the determination of residual plasticity of Tablettose 70, determination of the influence of the dwell time on residual plasticity and on the dependence of residual plasticity on compression force. Plasticity was measured by means of T1 - -FRO 50 device. From the results of the work it follows that the increase in dwell time results in residual plasticity of Tablettose 70. Tablettose 70 has the parameter A 49.679 % and tangent B -13.712% kN-1 .

The Relation of Chosen Motor Tests to Performance in a 100 M Sprint
Korbel, Tomáš ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Sýkora, Miloslav (referee)
Title: The relation ofchocen motoric tests to achievement in a 100 m sprint Objective of the work: The objective ofthis work was to determine such motoric tests, as would mostly reflected the relation to the 100 m sprint and try to contribute to explanation of a reciprocal relation between purposedly chosen motoric tests and the achievement in 100 m sprint at purposedly chocen sprinter group, test a sprinter group and analyse iťs results. Method: The part ofthis studies was direct testing on athletic stadium and control races during athletic tournament. The test group was represented by 13 sprinters. Purposely chosen tests was following: 30 m acceleration test started with stand-up start, flying 30 m speed test, 150 m endurance test started with stand-up start, the test of explosive power of lower limb - standing long jump test and the test of the taking-off force of lower limb - standing long decajump test. To be able to find the relation to 100m sprint was counted correlation coefficient and Spearmans rank correlation coefficient of all tests. We also counted in the sprinting tests the regression quadratic enabling the prediction ofan achievement with the anticipation ofhigh correlation. Results: We are described here the dependence of individua! motoric tests on chosen discipline and completed...

Current Trends of the Sprinters Strength Preparation
Hykl, Pavel ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Sýkora, Miloslav (referee)
SUM MARY A major objective of this dissertation was with hepl of literary sources to show and point out contemporary trends in strength preparation of sprinters, regardless of the goal of concrete training phases. The phases are planned according to the competition schedule. The further important factor of the successful planning is to know individua! strength training metods and how to incorporate them to the overall plann. The yearly training plan is an important a tool for achieving long-range athletic goals. The yearly training plan is devided into: Anatomical adaptation, the main objectives of this phase are to involve most muscle groups and to prepare the muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints for load. The duration of this phase i s 3 to 5 weeks. Maximal strength, the main objective of this phase is to develop the highest level of force possible. This is according to Charlie Francis the most important phase for sprinters. The duration of this phase should be approximately 6 to 9 weeks depend on athletes. Maintenance phase or competition phase, the main objective of this phase is to maintain the standarts achieved during the previous phases. The main goal is the competition. Transition phase, the mam purpose of this phase is to remove the fatigue acquired during the training year and replanish...

Dislocation structure, effective and internal stresses of cyclically deformed ferritic stainless steel
Petrenec, Martin ; Polák, Jaroslav
The hysteresis loops were recorded and analysed by force of generalised statistical theory of the hysteresis loop to separate internal and effective stresses on X10CrAl24 steel. Values of effective elastic module, possibly saturated stress and the maximum of density function were estimated in dependence on number of cycles and were faced with examined dislocation structures.

Short-time prediction of the leading factors of the Czech labour market

Firstly, it analyses and assesses an impact of individual factors on the labour force during the period lasting from 1997 till 2007 and it searches for the reasons regarding each variable progress. Moreover it aspires to identify possible mutual dependences between various indicators that formulate better position for the following outlook. Secondly, the work provides a short-time prediction of the most important factors that will probably affect the quantity of the labour force in the Czech Republic in course of following years. After the quantity prediction the work explains consequences regarding possible affection of the national economy's growth and identifies possible opportunities and threats connected with the changing structure of the Czech labour force.

Criminal defences in Czech and Irish criminal law
Kubíčková, Tereza ; Vokoun, Rudolf (advisor) ; Bohuslav, Lukáš (referee)
Criminal defences in Czech and Irish criminal law This thesis deals with the analysis of individual elements of criminal defences under the Czech and Irish criminal legal statutes with respect to the conclusions, which are therefrom drawn in theory and practice. The aim of this thesis is to render an overview concerning the distinctions and similarities in understanding, importance and operating of the defences in different law systems, rather than to present an exhaustive commentary on all legal institutes which exclude illegality and as such come into mind. Regarding the fact that Czech and Irish systems of law are subsumed under different legal systems, particular institutes of criminal defences cannot be based on the same rules, principles and theoretical grounds. It shall be noted, that while Czech criminal law is mainly to be found in a single piece of legislation known as the Criminal Law Act, Irish criminal law on the other hand not only has a separate statutory legislation, but also mainly depends on common law. The subject has been processed under consideration of the present-day legal regulation, whereas particular legal institutes are structured in compliance with the structure of the Czech Criminal Law Act. The topics of origin and development of defences has intentionally not been...

The quality of life at children with oncology desease
HERKUCZOVÁ, Lenka
This diploma thesis is trying to figure out how is oncological disease and it´ s treatment affecting survivors life after curing the disease. Acute leukemia and its challenging and often aggressive treatment leaves many different late effects. Quality of life is a subjective assessment which to some extent depends on the nature of the individual. Even so, it is necessary to evaluate and examine the quality of life beacuse the results of researches can help other patients, but also nurses, doctors, psychologists and other helping professions. The theoretic part of the thesis describes the current state of the problem, introduces the basic and fundamental specifics of children's cancer, the treatment, the after-effects, deals with the description of the psychological problems of patients and their caregivers, which provides diagnosis itself, but also the treatment of the disease. It also introduces the psychological care about oncological ill patiens and the roles of the nurses in careing for the oncological patiens. Another part of the theoretical work is an introduction to the measurement and evaluation of quality of life. Work also introduces the leukemia disease, which is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancer diseases in children. The thesis has three goals. The first one is to determine how the treatment of the oncological disease affects life of survivors. The second one is to determine how children perceive various limitations of social contact that the treatment brings. The last third objective is to determine whether the cancer experience affects the attitude of the survivor children to live. In the practical part of the research was used quantitative research. The technique of data collection was standardized questionnaire Minneapolis Manchester Quality of Life Instrument which is divided into two versions for younger and older children. The research was also used for statistical evaluation of hypotheses. The questionnaire was distributed to children aged 8 - 18 years who were 2 - 5 years after treatment. The control group were the same aged healthy peers. Four hypotheses were determined. H1: Cured children have more difficulties in social functioning than healthy children. It was found that cured children have better outcomes in social functioning than their peers, hypothesis H1 is thus not confirmed. H2: Cured children have less energy for physical activities than healthy children. This hypothesis was confirmed neither in older or younger children. H3: Cured children are more satisfied with their appearance than healthy children. This hypothesis was based on the research and statistical verification verified. Last investigated hypothesis was H4: Cured children have more problems in cognitive functioning than healthy children. Based on the statistical verification hypothesis was not confirmed. The research and statistical studies show that cured children have the same or in some areas even better quality of life than their healthy peers 2 - 5 years after the end of active treatment. The nurse should be able to help and advise the patient and should emphatically and nicely cooperate with the family for which it is often even worse than for the patients themselves. This diploma thesis will be used for making of an internal seminars for nurses working at the Clinic of Pediatric Oncology. Nurses working at the bedsides of the patiens can use this theses as a feedback of thein work. Knowledge of late effects of anticancer therapy is essential to providing a high - quality care and application of evidence - based nursing in practice.
