This thesis deals with the concept of corporate performance management. The main goal is to present the main aspects of business performance and prosperity and according to this find the way to prosperity. The work is divided into several parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical basis of business management prosperity. The second part deals with the concept of performance management. The third part deals with the forecasting function. The last part is the application of theoretical knowledge from previous sections. Unfortunately, the area of corporate performance management and business prosperity is so broad and the scope of this thesis is limited. This applies to the methods that can be used. Emphasis was placed on the most used methods. The thesis should provide a comprehensive view on this issue.

Interpreter-mediated interactions at film Festivals in the Czech Republic

Filmové festivaly jsou v České republice důležitou položkou v úhrnu tlumočených interakcí. Před 15 lety bylo hlavní tlumočnickou činností na festivalech tlumočení filmů. Dnes se důraz přesouvá na úvody a debaty spojené s promítáním, což je způsobeno technologickým pokrokem v oblasti titulkování. Dizertační práce popisuje tlumočení na filmových festivalech ze dvou pohledů. První pohled je pohled z dálky a jeho výsledkem je seznam pozorovaných způsobů tlumočení na jednotlivých filmových festivalech v České republice. Data pro tento seznam byla získána pomocí dotazníků a rozhovorů s agenturami a organizátory festivalů. Druhý pohled pozoruje filmové festivaly z bližší a podrobnější perspektivy. Dívá se na tlumočení úvodů a debat v rámci promítání filmů. Do výzkumu byly zahrnuty následující filmové festivaly: Mezinárodní filmový festival Karlovy Vary (2009), Festival dokumentárních filmů o lidských právech Jeden svět (2009, 2010, 2011), Festival krátkých filmů Praha (2011) a Mezinárodní filmový festival Praha-Febiofest (2011). Způsob tlumočení v debatách a úvodech je převážně konsekutivní, někdy je ale v jednom směru nahrazen šušotáží. Tlumočení ve zkoumaných interakcích probíhalo mezi angličtinou, němčinou a češtinou. Women on the half way. Mid age experience of recent women

The diploma thesis deals with women mid-age life experience. The theoretical part covers general information on middle age life period in developmental and persona! psychology perspectives. Developmental and mid-age crisis in its specifics are also described. Gender specifics are discussed in women psychology development article as well as in the part about feminist approach to scientific research. Experimental section introduces qualitative research on sample of 25 respondents, aiming to answer the question: How women experience their mid-age life? What do they recognize its specifics? Narrative method was used to interpret gathered data and portrait of recent mid-age woman with her key life issues and identity traits was drawn as a result.

A methodic work which, in the first theoretic part, concerning the subject of adventure pedagogy as a means for education of young people. The aim of the theoretic part is to introduce a reader with a creation of courses whose conducting is based on pedagogy of adventure. That is why it describes the preparation of courses (needs, choice of activities, possible ways of conducting, possible hazardous factors which can influence running of course). The outcome of thesis is to apply this theoretical knowledge in practical way. To concrete it: the preparation and the execution of the two-day course in the frame of the project "The Days of Orientation". RESUMÉ BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE Téma: Olivetská hora u kostela sv. Mořice v Olomouci Řešitel: Andrea Kaňková Rok: 2009 Hlavním cílem této práce bylo shromáždit a systematizovat dostupné informace a dosavadní hypotézy týkající se pozdně gotického sousoší Olivetské hory od kostela sv. Mořice v Olomouci. Práce je strukturována tak, aby postihla co nejvíce možných aspektů tohoto uměleckého díla a nezaměřuje se tedy pouze na jednu oblast, ale snaží se zprostředkovat co nejkomplexnější pohled. Na začátku práce je kladen důraz na faktografický základ v podobě popisu sousoší a výsledků jeho restaurátorského průzkumu. Dále je představen vývoj dosavadního uměleckohistorického bádání, které se odehrávalo především na poli formální analýzy díla a jehož výsledkem je v současnosti přesvědčivé datování díla do druhé čtvrtiny 15. století. Následující kapitoly pak zpracovávají podněty z nejnovější literatury a zaměřují se na oblasti čerstvě otevřené, jako je hledání možného objednavatele díla, původní vzhled, kompozice a umístění sousoší a doposud nejvíce opomíjená ikonografie. Z těchto otázek je blíže rozebírána problematika původního umístění a kompozice díla. Základem pro řešení této problematiky se staly výsledky restaurátorského průzkumu a pokusy restaurátora o objasnění původní kompozice. Z takto raného období není dochováno...

Ways of dealing with drug related public nuisance in the City Prague

The main theme of this thesis is the problems of drug related public nuisance in the Prague City Center. This problems affect almost all EU member states including the Czech Republic. Specifically, the capital of Prague was trying to solve this problem in the recent years. This phenomenon is certainly not new, but it ran out of patience. Possible solutions are many but they always depends on the particular company and their attitude to the solution you choose. The result to be effective both for society and for themselves drug users. The goal of this thesis is a comprehensive view of drug related public nuisance in the Prague City Center. The thesis also includes research among those interested in this issue. The results of that thesis are those of the current status of this issue in the City Center. Prague and its options that would be effective to eliminate this problem. The work also includes a possible solution to problems of drug related public nuisance. The research results were obtained by using semistructured interview with 9 respondents. The respondents are the members of the local government, and the repressive part series, drug dependence workers and other experts on the drug problem.

Civil-Military Culture in re-united Germany

In the course of last two decades the German foreign policy has significantly changed as far as the use of military force is concerned. It can be seen that this process is a result of a rational adaptation to new circumstances. In this thesis an effect of social norms and shared beliefs on shaping the German military policy is accented. The concept of civil-military culture was used in order to explain why the German military policy still differs from a "normal rational policy". This German exceptionality can be on the one hand explained by persisting influence of the culture of restraint in using military power that is still a noticeable part of the German strategic identity, on the other hand this thesis pointed out an effect of shared perceptions of German society about the military. Results of an analysis of how mass media report on Bundeswehr and its soldiers are used as evidence that the dominant image of Bundeswehr as a humanitarian organisation strongly limits the way of how soldiers can be deployed. Whereas post-conflict reconstruction and humanitarian missions are seen to belong to basic tasks for Bundeswehr, according to the persistent image of the military any kind of a battle deployment is believed to be inappropriate and inadequate.

Audiovisual publicity matter as component public relations of infant school.

In my Bachelor´s Report I try to introduce the area of ``Public relations{\crqq} (PR) and relate disciplines which are closely connected with this area/discipline. The different questions related to PR are described in every single part of this report. Closer view is devoted to one of PR tool which is an audiovisual presentation. In practical part of this report I concentrate on concrete function of kindergartens and on the forms of presentations which are used by kindergartens. The screenplay for audiovisual presentation of kindergarten is the output of this part. It includes the creating of DVD presentation of concrete kindergarten.

Výber a zhodnotenie podniku pri strategickej akvizícii

Cílem diplomové práce je zesumarizovat základní znalosti v oblasti fúzí a akvizic a současně poskytnout podrobnější pohled na proces strategické akvizice s důrazem na předakviziční analýzu. V rámci této předakviziční analýzy jsem nejdřív zhodnotil cílový trh investora a následně uskutečnil důkladnou selekci potenciálních kandidátů k strategické akvizici. Výsledkem byl výběr společnosti jako finálního kandidáta, u které jsem poté provedl co možná nejpodrobnější analýzu, ale dle požadavků investora jenom s využitím veřejně dostupných dat. Závěrem těchto analýz je odůvodněné rozhodnutí, že společnost je vhodná pro zahraničného investora a akviziční proces se může posunout do další fáze, ale současně byly zjišteny i některé problematické oblasti, které budou vyžadovat dodatečné přezkoumání v dalším průběhu.
