To the communication of the towns in the period before the Battle of the White Mount (The correspondence among New Town of Prague and some king's towns in the central part of Polabí)

The submitted thesis aims to scan the written communication among the city councils of royal towns in the period before the Battle of the White Mount, particularly the correspondence among the New Town of Prague and Royal Towns in the Central Part of Polabí, explicitly Český Brod, Kolín, Kouřim, Kutná Hora and Nymburk. The research was based mainly on 20 town registers of the period and on the extant scripts which enabled me to set up both the communication process and particular agents. Thus we were offered the insight into the townhall, its offices, circumstances of the origin of missivs, we observed individual characters and institutions involved in the negotiation procedures. We came across the issue of messenger service mediating the delivery and last but not least we were concerned about receiving correspondence, its interpretation at the time and the content of discussed matters. Another issue we dealt with was the terminology ie. definition of written communication, diplomacy terminology, especially register issue defined as supplemental office book in publishers'offices containing the office scripts. Communication strategy of cities, municipalities and regions

The main subject of the thesis Communication strategy of cities, municipalities and regions is to introduce the theoretical concept of marketing communication of municipalities, cities and regions and to evaluate the role of communication in development of cities and regions. The first part of the thesis is aimed on the issue of impact of marketing communication on the development of municipalities, cities and regions in theory. The second part is aimed on evaluation of communication of the town of Lovosice with its target groups with an emphasis on residents. Within this part of the thesis there are analyzed particular components of the communication of the brand of the town of Lovosice through analysis of the town environment, analysis of perception of the town by residents by exploration among residents and analysis of particular communication channels used by the town. The town of Lovosice has not drawn up any strategy paper overaching the communication of the town, nor sufficiently secures the area by adequate staffing. The communication of the town is not effective - it lacks integrity and consistence. If the town intends to be more successfull in building its brand, it should develop strategic plan of the communication and sufficiently staff this area. The town should implement interactive communication with the residents based on the regular exchange of informations, and then to base the development activities the obtained informations.

Social Services for People with Autism

Abstract Social services for people with autism This diploma thesis is focused on the issues of social services for people with autism. I have concentrated my research on people looking after the people with autism. In the theoretical part I deal with the explanation of the term autism, division of autism, I describe specific work with people with autism, some kinds of therapies, social services for people with autism and some organizations working with people with autism. In the practical part of the work there are written and evaluated interviews with the respondents. Collecting information was done by the qualitative form, via the method of asking. As the method of colleticting data the half-standarised interview was used. The group for the research was formed by the people looking after the people with autism. I spoke with eight caretakers in total, they were always parents of the children with autism. The choice was done by the method of snowball. Each interview was elaborated into eight case studies. The results of the interviews were transformed into tables and summerized in a discussion. The aim of the diploma thesis was to map possibilities of social services for people with autism and if they have possibility to use these services. Other aim was to find out which services are used the most by these people and if they suit them. Then I investigated if these services are accessible financially, by quantity and quality and if they copy the requirements of a family and individual needs of the people with autism. The interviews with the respondents show that the families living in Prague have the possibility to use social services for the people with autism. The respondents living in smaller towns have more difficult access to these services and very often they do not have the possibility of any choice. This work could contribute to quality improvement of providing social services to the people with autism. In my opinion, it is necessary to educate non-professional and professional public in this issue. This is the way to provide better services reflecting the needs of the people with autism. Correspondence of Kutná Hora and Kolín from 1560s to White mountain

The final thesis investigates 801 traced inscriptions which originate in four city books of received correspondence of Kutná Hora and in ten city books of received correspondecne of Kolín. Further sources are 2 letteres from the years 1587 and 1588 from the State archive of the district of Kolín and 2 letteres from the years 1573 and 1587 from the State archive of the district of Kutná Hora. In the introduction, there is mentioned the summary of the literature which deals with city`s, noble`s and sovereign`s correspondence. The terms "city book of sent correspondence" and "city book of received correspondence" are explained and the characterization of used sources occurs as well. This work explains to us the environment of the town of Kutná Hora and Kolín in the Pre -White Mountain Period. The 4th chapter of this work deals with the term and the process of communication not only theoratically, but first of all practically on the example of Kutná Hora`s and Kolín`s city counsellors. The 5th chapter is focused on the content of official correspondence sent between Kutná Hora and Kolín. Through the citations we will learn more about the property matters of dwellers of both cities. The belts along the roads as a biotope for organisms.

The aim of the work was to describe the biodiversity of model groups of organisms (vascular plants, epigeic beetles and small mammals) in six transect crossing the two year old high way situated close to the town Písek (South Bohemia). The different methods were used for studied groups (phytocenological mapping, pitfall traps and mousetraps). The results documented the possibility of all studied organisms for the quick recolonization of new biotopes beside of the high way.

Early intervention system

The aim of this project is to introduce a "System of early intervention" using methodology assigned by the Home Office. The System of early intervention is a process of work and communication in the area of social and legal protection of children and juvenils and fraud prevention. I am describing my reasons for the creation of this project and its general set up for the Czech Republic. The project is relevant to the problems of endangered and delinquant children and juveniles, and I am explaining the terms related to the subject in this introduction accordingly. In the next section I will target the development of fraud in the Czech Republic and I will mention some examples of foreign countries for comparison. Due to several departments being involved in the execution of this project, I am further introducing their activity in connection with the system. After introduction with the project on a general level, I will focus on concrete examples of work in the way that is being implemented in the Town district Prague 2. To comply with the title of my work, I am practically addressing the comparison of the System of early intervention in the nine towns in which the project has already been implemented. Marketing communication of Kutná Hora

The main objectives of the thesis are to analyse the present state of historical city Kutná Hora and its tourist products's promotion and to proceed the analysis of using single parts of communication mix and then to create recommendations for improving in this sector.

Analysis of IT and SW resources and their impact on communication on the Municipality of Rakovník

Firstly the thesis examines the communication within the organization and external communication and gives the answer to which information technology is used for its support. It also detects what impact these IT and software resources have for these types of communication. Secondly the application part is focused on the Municipality of Rakovník and communication within the organization and how to communicate with citizens. The thesis answers the question, which IT equipment and software support internal and external communication in the organization and which of them are specifically used for the support at the Municipality of Rakovník. It also focuses on identifying those funds and suggests the possibilities how to improve communication within the Rakovník Town Hall and with the public.
