Self-presentation and social perception of young DRAG QUEENS in social media with special regard to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok networks

This diploma thesis of the self-presentation explores the aspects of self-presentation and social perception of a group of 5 selected drag queens. The thesis has a form of 5 case studies based on deep analysis of their profiles on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, which are currently the most used social networks. The areas of interest in this diploma thesis were the visual presentation of their drag identity, the trends their profiles show in areas of make-up, wig or hair, costume and body position in which they are shown on their profiles. The second area of interest was the nature of the textual presentation and captions, use of hashtags and interaction with their audience. Third are of interest was the audience itself, whether it was supportive in terms of drag and LGBTQ+ community in general and the nature of the interaction with the audience. The results from the content analysis were then summarized and used as a basis for semi-structured interview based on the outcomes from the said content analysis. LGBTQ+ students support groups

This diploma thesis is an empirical ethnographic study of forms of support for LGBTQ+ students in all types of schools from primary school to university. The monitored topic is Institutional provision of the LGBTQ+ support network and the establishment of extra- curricular support groups for LGBTQ+ pupils. The aim of the work is to verify the provision of LGBTQ+ support and to specify the functioning of extracurricular support groups. The study then focuses focus on the potential problems students identify when seeking support in school and on the problems of articulation of identity at critical moments in school education. Using the qualitative Grounded Theory method revealed the conditions for providing support in both schools and LGBTQ+ support groups. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, data collection has moved into virtual space. Cyberviolence towards LGBTQ+ people in Czech Republic

This piece of work focuses on cyberviolence against LGBTQ+ adults in the Czech online space. Cyberviolence is overall a new phenomenon, at present mostly examined in relation to children and adolescents. In this work, the author offers insight into the ways queer people use the Internet, the negative events they encounter and the manner in which they manage these experiences. The work builds on the ideas of heteronormative social hegemony and looks for links between this social order and cyberviolence. Using the qualitative method of semi- structured interviews, research was conducted with eight LGBTQ+ participants. The results showed queer people faced grave acts such as threats or extortion as well as homophobic and transphobic microagression. The fact that cyberviolence against adults is often downplayed by the society, but also victims themselves, makes its management all the more complicated. Nevertheless, it is essential to dedicate more attention to this topic in the effort to eliminate heterosexism in society.

Docementary Photography: "Banana Generation"

The main goal of this practical bachelor's thesis was to create a photographic documentary about young Czech Vietnamese people who identify as queer or as a part of the LGBTQ+ community. The final photo book is a portrait of one of the community members. Through a variety of traditional as well as alternative participatory documentary methods, this book examines identity and its formation. The theoretical part reflects on the use of these participatory elements, contextualising the author's own usage in the practical section. The thesis will also present some major representatives of the Czech and global photographic scene, such as Wendy Ewald or Pavel Dias, who have used participative methods in their work. The theoretical part of the thesis also defines documentary photography.

Inclusion in fashion indrustry and its perception in Czech environment

This bachelor thesis focuses on the inclusion in the fashion industry and its perception in Czech environment. At first, the topic is theoretically introduced from two points of view, one of them being the inclusion in fashion industry and second one being inclusive marketing. Theoretical part not only describes inclusion as a general topic but also concentrates on 5 in the fashion field often discriminated groups, those being: people of different race and ethnicity, plus-size people, people older than 50 years, people from LGBTQ+ community and disabled people. These groups are considered to be the most important in the area of inclusion. From the marketing point of view the paper describes how to engage each of the minority groups and how their involvement in fashion can affect customers and the company. Inclusive marketing is then explained in context of other related terms such as CSR or multicultural marketing. The practical part then put the topic of inclusion in fashion industry into the context of Czech environment. It examines and describes the way how Czech consumers perceive inclusion in fashion industry. At first, the opinion of respondents regarding inclusion in fashion industry in general is discussed. Literary, cultural and historical influences in the works and beliefs of Oscar Wilde

The thesis deals with the cultural and literary influences that can be traced in the works of Oscar Wilde. Its aim is to map out and elucidate some of the important motifs of the author's work and aesthetics in their own context as well as in the wider cultural-historical one. The methods used will be comparison of relevant materials, analysis of certain expressions typical of the author with their connotations, explaining the intertextual allusions in Wilde's work, and historical sources. The requisite attention will also be paid to Wilde as a representative of a subversive element of Victorian society and how this relates to his sexuality; that is to say, exploring the issue of the tabooing of non-heterosexuality, which may have been a decisive factor in Wilde's criticism of the conventions of his era and to his search of positive role-models in the ancient tradition both for his art and for his personal philosophy. Politicizing Sexualities: Mobilization practices and networking within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid

This ethnographic study intends to explain the recent mobilization practices within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid in reference to the strategic use of identity and networking in collective action. It describes the Spanish movement as an ideologically polarized heterogeneous aggregate. The active challenging groups criticize the dominant part of the movement for giving up its original message of sexual liberation and diluting it in consumerism by supporting capitalist tendencies and the power of leading political parties. Via launching protest campaigns and collaborating in internationally supported networks with other ideologically related social movement communities, the challenging groups demand civil rights for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or identity. They mobilize upon the collective identity of "precariousness" while integrating elements of queer and transgender theory into their radical leftist oriented politics in order to transform the Spanish society. By bringing on new critical ideas and adherents, the success of the leftist oriented challenging groups has an impact on the direction of the politics of the dominant group, which thereby is forced to adopt such ideas into their politics.
