How the fifth graders work with a fairytale text
Mračková, Jana ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor) ; Chrz, Vladimír (referee)
The object of my diploma thesis was fairy tale narration of children in fifth classes of primary school. The main point was to refer to the structural belongings of fairy tale narration and to identify basic parts of the story telling. There were used two types of narration. First of them, reproductive, involved re-telling of two chosen fairy tales: The Bluebeard (Modrovous) and The Nix and his salve (Hastrmanova mast). The second type of narration was productive story telling of random fairy tale. In this type the chosen fairy tale was just upon the individual children's selection. The analyzed material consisted in sum of 33 narrated stories. Obtained narrations were analysed according to the V.J. Propp's functions of acting people. Propp's theory and his list of 31 functions of acting people were main resources to the experimental part of my diploma thesis. According to the analyses summary certain results have benn found out. At first it showed, that the main structure of children's story telling consists of 24 types of different functions. Children don't use the full list of 31 specified functions and concern to some of them. Certain types of functions were absent in both types of story tellings. But in between these used 24 types of functions the main structure of the story was always present. It...

Analysis of metabolome effects of hop (H. lupulus) transcription factors in heterologous of Petunia hybrida
MORAVCOVÁ, Vendula
Plant transformation is now a key research in plant biology, and also is a unique practical tool in the improvement of varieties of cultivated plants. The aim of this work was to obtain transgenic plants Petunia x hybrida containing transgene nptII (kanamycin resistance gene) using the indirect transformation by Agrobacterium tumefaciens. In terms of in-vivo was grown from seeds experimental material in the form of plant Petunia x hybrida cv. Andrea. For the experiments three different constructs HLWD40 3278-80 and HLbHLH 3577 and HLbHLH 3677 GFP were used. The leaf explants from Petunia plants were prepared. Explants were transferred using tweezers into the crucible containing liquid ? MS and prepared bacteria were added. Thus prepared explants remained in bacteria the next day, when they were transferred to the regenerating solid ground. The explants formed callus gradually (clusters of cells) which regenerate a new plant. Transformation should satisfy the condition that the transformed plants should be fertile. For this reason, an attempt was made crossing the transformed plants were crossed Pap1 1527/2 and Pap1 1572/4 with plants crossed HLWD 40 3278-80. The grown plants were analysed by a PCR reaction. The explants began during the first 2-4 weeks after transfromation to form callus and during the next week to remove the first regenerants. At one exulant fell averaged around 7 regenerants and the explants regenerated by construct HLbHLH 3577 regenerate better than regenerants transformed with construct HLWD 40 3278-80. During the transformation we obtained regenerants. With "tissue" PCR, it was found that 15 plants carried the gene for kanamycin resistance. Transformation efficiency was 3.75%.

This diploma thesis deals with the use of geographic information systems in issue of facility management. Its purpose is to show the advantages of this connection, mostly the visualization and analytical capabilities of GIS. The general issues of facility management are described in the first part of the thesis - what it is about, what it brings, the most important definitions and standards are provided there. Then it continues with theory about connection with GIS and answers the question, why this cooperation is beneficial. It continues with description of importance of GIS during whole life circle of real estate. The chapter is concluded by definition of another powerful tool in FM - CAD/BIM. The fourth chapter discusses one of the important tasks of FM - passportization and its meaning. The last chapter before conclusion focuses on the practical part of thesis dealing with campus of the Czech Post in Malešice. Keywords: Facility management, GIS, passportization, visualization

Conduction of interferential currents by human body tissues
Zralíková, Hana ; Pánek, David (referee) ; Malá, Jitka (advisor)
Thesis title: Conduction of interferential currents by human body tissues Work objectives: The aim of this work was to determine the effect of electric stimulation on distant muscle groups and to verify, whether the response of mucles depends on the current frequency. Methods: Master's thesis was worked up on the basis of the pilot experimental study which 6 healthy volunteers from FTVS UK were included in. Interferential currents were applied to their paravertebral muscles in thoracolumbar parts on the frequency of 50 Hz and 100 Hz and 120 - 200 Hz. Electrical activity in distant muscle groups was registrated by surface electromyography. EMG records were analyzed by spectral analysis in MyoResearch XP Master program and evaluated visually. Extended essay is authorized by the FTVS UK ethics committee. Results: It was found that the interferential currents do not spread to distant muscle groups and the current frequency has no affect on their conduction. Research has brought another unexpected result, and that the applied current frequency occur in the tissues in its multiples in a very broad frequency bands. Keywords: electrotherapy, interferential currents, surface electromyography, spectral analysis

Healthy life style and table manners of students from 4lh and 5th grade of elementary school SUMMARY: This diploma thesis is dealing with question of healthy life style and aesthetic of students from 4th and 5lh grade of elementary school. In theoretical part I am trying to show what and why should students know about this topic and how is RVP dealing with it. In the following experimental part I examine what students know from this topic and if they are able to use the information. In last part I am suggesting programme for one and half year in which students gain theoretical and practical knowledge from fields such as: healthy food, aesthetics of dining, exercise and sport, hygiene and fashion. Finally, I will be reviling some of the taught and amended lessons of the project. The total evaluation of the project concludes the paper. KEYWORDS: Healthy life style, aesthetics, sport, hygiene, fashion

Solving Problems with Primary School Pupils (with a View to the Strategy "Guessing the Answers")
Říhová, Miroslava ; Chrz, Vladimír (referee) ; Hříbková, Lenka (advisor)
The goal of this diplima thesis is deseription and analysis of guessing stratégy at school during teaching. It is focused on the reasons of using this stratégy and its influence by a teacher. The text has two passages - the theoretical one and the empirie one. The theoretical part is done in context with the empirie data. We are mostly interested in the research, but the theory is important for understanding the context. The guessing stratégy here is compared with "Trial and error" stratégy, heuristic of "Generate and try" and "Heuristic exploration" and Bruneťs stratégy of "Focus gambling". The result of comparison these strategies with the guessing stratégy is our own defenition - producing some answers in problém situation involving schoolwork. The problém situation is construed as a necessity of making some performance. Empirie research is divided into three parts. Experimental data are from the elementary school. All these parts are particularly based on observetion of a contexts where the guessing stratégy was used. Some data were obtained by a quasiexperiment and by a short questinoary for teachers.

One Side of the Hero- Interpretation of Cúchulainn's Story According to Campbell's Theory of Monomyth
Frühbauer, Jan ; Fárek, Martin (referee) ; Janák, Jiří (advisor)
The main intention of this work is an interpretation of a chosen mythical narration from the point of view of the theory of monomyth from american antropologist Joseph Campbell. In his well-known book The Hero of Thousand Faces he presents many myths and old legends from the whole wide world. In the way of comparison of the myths and the motives which they contain he demonstrates common spiritual grounds of the mankind. Campbelľ s approach is very familiar to the analytical psychology of C. G. Jung and he many times refers to him and his scholars. Currently he uses many of Jung' s terms, such as the idea of an archetype or Self (germ. das Selbst). Further, hismodel of monomyth of the hero carries resemblance to Jung' s image of the process ol individuation (germ. der lndividuationsprozess).

The photo editor as a gatekeeper
Vodáková, Lucie ; Turek, Pavel (referee) ; Láb, Filip (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the work of Czech photo editors in a daily and weekly papers. The work analyzes what their function in media is, what their common day looks like, who they are speaking with and then what their daily decisions about photographs are. The first chapters describe the role of photo editors as gatekeepers. I try to compare what was their job earlier, when the time of technological convergence didn't exist. I deal with a photo editing practicies like searching, selection and gathering materials too. The second analytic part consist of the deep interviews with photo editors and other members of newsroom. I compare their information with the information of foreign media books. The object of the thesis is to show on six chosen important Czech daily and weekly papers how the photo editors work, what is their leading role and whether they are important for the organization or not.

Comparison of students' performance at the beginning and upon completion of their simultaneous interpretation training course
Renner, Jakub ; Abdallaova, Naděžda (referee) ; Rejšková, Jana (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis is to determine,~ whether there may be a relationship between the capacity of working memor)Lfc,and the skill of interpreting features of modality in a text. Based on this aim, the basic concepts determining the approach to the above question are outlined (working memory, modality). An experiment is conducted on a population of nine subjects. The experiment investigates the development of working memory capacity (memory span test), and the skill to interpret features of modality during the course of interpretation studies (simultaneous interpretation of and English text with high occurrence of features of modality). Based on an analysis, evaluation, and statistical processing of the experimental results, the thesis determines that working memory capacity, and the ability to interpret features of modality may be related.
