Gothic Art in Bohemia and its mediation to pupils of primary school.

The diploma thesis deals with Gothic art in Bohemia. The work is divided into three parts. The first, theoretical part, contains a brief introduction, which includes basic information about the Gothic style, followed by exploration of the architecture of Monastery of St. Agnes, which is considered one of the first early Gothic buildings in Bohemia. Subsequently, architectural elements from the High Gothic period, specifically gargoyles and mascarons on the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert in Prague, are examined. Lastly, the theoretical part includes a presentation of the works of Master Theodorik, as a representative of painting of this period. The didactic part describes an educational project for pupils of the 7th grade of primary school. This project builds upon the various types of Gothic visual arts - architecture, sculpture, painting. The thematic unit begins with a visit to the Monastery of St. Agnes of Bohemia. In the first art task, students create the facade of an urban Gothic house. During the second task, students focus on medieval fantasy creatures and their modeling in clay. The subject of this bachelor thesis is the so-called " Špulířská chapel at the Dean's Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Jindřichův Hradec. The bachelor thesis will focus on the architectural and iconographic aspect of the building, especially the theme of the circled vault and unusual sculptural decoration. In the context of the vault, it summarizes the historical and cultural context of the Jindřichův Hradec environment at the end of the 15th century with the town centers of Upper and Lower Austria.
Adaptation of a farm building

Focus of the bachelor thesis is to assess selected parts of the construction of a historical building. The work is divided into diagnostic and design part. The diagnostic part consists of the object´s measurement and the evaluation of the current state. The design part outlines the existing and newly designed structures, which are assessed in the static calculation. The output of the work are drawings of the object, static calculation and technical report.

The Master´s thesis contains the methodology of the baroque church reconstruction from 17th and 18th centuries. An unmarked floor plan has been preserved from the original idea. The process of applying knowledge, professional literature, comparison, research in archives and personal inspection of similar buildings created a hypothetical model of the church with its complete documentation. In the process of reconstruction, a number of questions were answered. The result of the work is the design of a hypothetical church. At the same time, the author has acquired the principles and regularities of designing buildings in the baroque period with regard to their thinking, knowledge and technical possibilities at this period.

Medieval religious architecture in the upper Otava until 1420 The diploma thesis the medieval religious architecture in the upper Otava region until 1420, and aims to put it into a historical context. The review of the existing literature sources leveraged understanding of the architectural movements used before 1420: the Gothic and Romanesque styles. These styles posses certain significant characteristics that can be used to map their development, as well as comparison of those two. The objects can be split into categories based on those characteristics. This paper looks at those categories and studies the development within.
The form of the interior in Cluny and its subsidiaries monasteries in Burgundy

In my bachelor thesis, I will devote church architecture, interior Cluny III and his reflections in the daughter monasteries in Burgundy. For individual buildings is analyzed architectural solutions primarily broken down walls and vaulting. An important part is the history of the region, cultural and historical context monastery of Cluny, followed by the development of the monastery. The main part occupies the church interior Cluny III, broken down the walls of a church interior solutions vaulting of the main nave, typological layout plan. The form of the church interior of Cluny will then be compared with selected churches monasteries in Burgundy. Survey and Diagnostics of Brick Structure

The diploma thesis deals with a structural and technical survey of the surviving cellar of the German House in Brno. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical description of the constructions, methods performed and their evaluation concerning the investigated space. The aim of the survey is to determine the strength characteristics of the masonry and on their basis to propose appropriate rehabilitation and structural protection.
Reservoirs - Brno, Zluty kopec (Yellow hill)

The diploma thesis deals with the possible use of now defunct reservoirs on the Yellow Hill. This water supply complex consists of three underground reservoirs and a technical house. The area is spread over a large plot of land overgrown with wild vegetation in the middle of a residential area. The set of underground reservoirs, covered by a system of arches supported by pillars, represents a unique architectural and technical monument. The aim of the proposal is to make the reservoir area accessible to the public through new functions while preserving their historical value. The main motive of the concept is an interactive water museum built in the youngest reinforced concrete reservoir. The exhibition deals, among other things, with a very current topic of sustainable water management. The complex is complemented by a new visitor center, which will make it possible to access the reservoirs through a new entrance to the underground. The existing unmaintained area of greenery will be transformed into a public park independent of the operation of reservoirs.
Cathedral today

The content of the work is ideas solution for the roof of the Notre-Dame in Paris, after the destroying fire in 2019. Main idea is to create garret space for spiritual people, which used to meet, study and pray without the contact with the tourists and fill in the gap after the old tower above the crossing. Concept based on the original garret, which was only for service. The idea is coming especially from the simplicity and effectivity of the old garret and pointing on some of his elements. Space under the roof should be simple according to the first floor of the cathedral. The function is reflecting simplicity of the spaces with the respect to historical cathedral. Garret is designed for spiritual people, who are working in Notre-Dame and makes a space for them, which will be calm place for meditation. For this purpose are there cells for individual studying, library, common space and chapel. Connecting and meeting point in the same time between the ground, garett and higher power is sanctuary. This part is getting light to the ground floor.
Center winery Nemcicky

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of Centre of Winery for the Modré Hory area. The proposed building should respect the surrounding environment, and attract tourists in the same time, by architectural form, urban planning and design. The plot for construction is located near the village Němčičky u Hustopečí on the hilltop of Nové hory. Currently, vineyards are being restored, which almost completely cover the whole area. The object of the wine center includes a canteen for tourists, a tasting room, a cellar for storage of bottles and technical and hygienic facilities. Production component is it's own electric energy cumulator. Using a renewable wind source. Part of the proposal should be the overview tower, making the site more attractive. The object does not process grapevine, it only archives bottles and works as a showroom and stop at a wine-growing cycle path. It has a simple rectangular ground plan with a sloping roof to cover the entry part and to shield the large glazing. On the ground floor there is a café with a background, a tasting room, hygienic facilities, a brick cellar and technical rooms in the basement. The facade of the building is covered with Siberian larch wood. A viewing tower is located at the west side of the building, almost at the top of the hill. The tower has a cylindrical shape and measures almost 14.5 m. It is also clad with wood of the same type. The production of electricity is provided here by 9 vertical wind turbines located along the northern boundary of the building on the artificial wall.
