Title: Comparison of balance abilities of gymnasts and members of an attest group Abstract: This thesis deals with a question whether there is a difference between balance abilities of girls who attend themselves to gymnastics and those who do not. The girls compared were of 7 to 9 years of age. To thoroughly understand the term balance and to specify its place in the process of motoric learning, while using the measures gained from the two groups of girls, it was necessary to first gain a theoretical background from kinesiology, physiology and anatomy ofrelevant organs and systems. Aims: The aim of this work is to fmd out differences in balance abilities of girl gymnasts and an attest group of non-gymnasts, and to create a summary of theoretical knowledge ofbalance. Method: The method used was an inter-group comparison of stabilometric parametres gained by dynamografics. The measures thus gained were statistically analysed. Results: The results acknowledged differences in balance abilities of girl gymnasts and an attest group ofnon-gymnasts. Key words: Balance abilities, posture, stabilometrics, girl gymnastics, physiology of systems and anatomy of organs supporting balance.

Intercultural communication in firms
Štillerová, Aneta ; Froněk, Jan (referee) ; Tureckiová, Michaela (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I deal with the cultural influence on communication in firms. The work draws from topics of general intercultural communication, which I then relate to the corporate life. My starting point is the assumption that Czech firms have so far rather been unaware of, neglected or underestimated the cultural influence on the corporate communication. Therefore I focused in particular on the most important and basic topics of intercultural communication. The aim is to provide both managers and employees with enough arguments so as to make them accept the intercultural communication as a relevant topic of the current corporate life and aware of the training needs which would develop the overall communication competence. In the first chapter I deal with the corporate communication, then with the topic of culture and eventually with the intercultural communication in firms. As a specific part I included few results of an inquiry with employees of a Czech branch of German IT company that employs specialist coming from a wide variety of countries. The second chapter is extensive. The reader is introduced to actual topics of intercultural communication, in particular to the cultural influence on our perception and thinking, then to the different communication styles, to cultural differences in...

Analysis of the internal environment of the selected organization
KURFIRSTOVÁ, Linda
The aim of my thesis is to reveal the facts relating to the current situation in the selected company, namely through the analysis of the internal environment. The facts discovered will then serve for the design of optimal strategy that will improve the company's strengths and eliminate its weaknesses. The first conducted analysis was that of portfolio, Boston matrix, which is often used in practice precisely because it will give us the answer to the question as to what business activities have the potential for the company and which, on the other hand, have disadvantages and just swallow its resources. Thanks to its design, we can also assess the current situation of the market and take necessary action in its development field and thus gain greater competitive advantage. Analysis of corporate finances is usually implemented using financial analysis; and data needed for the development was obtained from the balance sheet and the profit and loss account.I decided to work with indicators according to the method of Rolf Grünwald (2007). These are indicators of liquidity, profitability, activity and subsequent debt. The last used method is the SWOT method, which was based on the identified strengths and weaknesses of the company as well as its opportunities and threats - only some of those were chosen and used to build Fuller triangle through which I could calculate the weight of individual factors and therefore determine the position of the company in the SWOT matrix. Boston matrix discovered that the company?s position against its strongest competitor is not bad. It just needs to focus on the involvement of such material that will ensure stable profits ? in another words material that will, in the matrix, appear in the position of dairy cow. Financial analysis found some problems in the area of ability to meet its obligations and, therefore, the company should focus on this situation. Furthermore it is far too dependent on foreign sources, which does not help much in the event of future needs of obtaining funds. SWOT analysis of the company testified that if it is able to utilize the strengths it has at its disposal, it will be able to remove the threats faced in the market, and therefore find itself in a better situation in the future. This will work to the company?s advantage simply because there are not many companies with this strategy on the market at this present time. Many businesses simply do not have such strengths at their disposal.

Support development health mentally handicapped by the help of interventional kinetic programme (Czech Krumlov)\\
HROMADOVÁ, Lenka
My diploma thesis aims at the question of the handicapped people and their engagement in the support motor programme in one-week regime for a period of five months. The research was done at Základní škola speciální v Českém Krumlově (Primary Specialized School in Český Krumlov). A competent worker of the school institution provided me with the anamnesis data. I tested the gymnasts by means of standardized motor tests. Two hypotheses adverting to the field of motor and social competence were set up. The applied programme was created in order to support the development of the mentally handicapped pupils' motor abilities and capabilities. It covered easy motor exercises, yoga and its relaxation elements, and psychomotor plays. The influence of the programme was retrieved by double measuring (input and output); all the gained data were processed and evaluated statistically.\\

Key Decision-making Processes in Creating School and Implementing the School Curriculum
Voda, Jan ; Spilková, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Walterová, Eliška (referee) ; Uhlířová, Jana (referee)
The Key Decision-making Processes in Creating School and Implementing the School Curriculum The thesis focuses on the role of a teacher in his/her triple position. Each of these roles provides a piece of inspiration for reflection on the internal school transformation, both on theoretical and empirical level. The first one regards the role of a teacher as an experimenter. Our study balances the possibilities and limits of the experimental approach with regard to the condition of teacher's high degree of personal engagement and also the social context. From the other perspective, we observe a teacher as bearer of school quality. This is conditioned by the adoption of a creative role in the transformation effort in which teachers have to demonstrate their willingness and ability to change the current school with regard to the newly- conceived paradigm in education. Finally, the third point of view follows the teacher as a creator of the curriculum and school. In terms of Czech education teachers must deal with the complexity of a new professional situation which stems from an innovative, experimental nature of the School Educational Program making-process. In this process they make decisions according to which values and goals they accent in their pedagogical work. The research part of the thesis...

Fousková, Petra ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Krátký, Petr (referee)
ANALYSING OF TWO YEARS TRAINING MACROCYCLES (2006-2007 a 2007- 2008) RUNNER ON 1500 M Objectives: We focus on the contain of training unit, and types of endurance with respect to training sessions. We analyze special training exercises and methods in the season from the perspective of dynamic value changes and intensity workouts in that season. The main goal was to measure relationship between speed and endurance skills and evaluate their influence on the performance. Methods: In our thesis we have used the comparison analysis method of two years training cycles. We used percentage value for accurate quantifications, and qualitative analysis coming out from dividing whole running facility on general and special. We measure relationships between speed and endurance skills, and their influence on 1500 m distance. We analyze running log (OTU and STU), and following dynamic changes of these determinants. Results: We have described a training process of an advanced competitive runner in middle distance 1500 m at an efficiency level. We have found out that the general training was preferred rather than special training. This way we have reached a positive training effect, which culminated in both cases in the Czech national championship on track. Keywords: endurance, middle distance 1500 m, training...
