JUDr. Ivana Štenglová Author: JUDr. Libor Němec April 2012 This dissertation deals with the Czech legal regulation of the investor compensation schemes. The investor compensation schemes are special compensation mechanisms financed by investment firms (securities broker dealers) whose main purpose is a protection of retail investors, customers of securities brokers dealers, against a default of securities broker dealers (investment firms) resulting in their inability to meet their obligations against their clients and to return to the clients their assets which were entrusted to these firms in connection with investment business. In the case of such failure the compensation schemes will compensate the loss to the clients (in a specified amount and under given conditions). Comprehensive Web Audit Methodology
Sekulová, Kateřina ; Vlasák, Rudolf (advisor) ; Očko, Petr (referee)
Title of thesis: Comprehensive Web Audit Methodology A web site is often the first point of contact between the user and another person or company or organization, so that in the electronic world, a web site is like a calling card. Ideally therefore, a web site should load relatively quickly to prevent the user from looking elsewhere even before the web site has opened. Also, the web site should have a pleasant design to make it user-friendly, it should display helpful content, be widely accessible and, last but not least, fulfil the aims for which it was created. It is the responsibility of web site designers, programmers and creators to ensure that web sites fulfil their function. A web site audit - either during or after its construction - is the best way of checking that all factors relating to access, use, technical processes and other criteria function correctly. There are many audit companies on the market today, each of them offering the customer its own particular perspective, evaluation according to different criteria and audit conducted using various methods. Therefore, the first part of this work contains an overview of different perspectives used to assess the quality of web sites, as well as designers and the specific methodology they apply during web site audits. The theoretical part...

Červinková, Michaela ; Sládková, Petra (referee) ; Rodová, Zuzana (advisor)
The thesis is aimed at somatosensory assesment on upper limbs after the stroke. The main objectives of this bachelor's thesis are the retrieval, interpretation and practical field tests of the standardized somatosensory assesment. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents the basic information about the stroke, its after-effects and the role of occupational therapy in the process of rehabilitation. The thesis deals in more detail especially with the matters of sensory loss and their impact to ADL. The practical part presents the the brief description of the sought tests and the translation and interpretation of the selected assesment - Nothingham sensory assesment. The thesis provides the reader with results and the analysis of results of the somatosensory assesments through the use of Notingham sensory assesment, performed on the sample of ten pacients in the Regional Hospital Liberec and on the Clinic of Rehabilitation Medicine in Prague. From the obtained results of the practical assesments the conclusion has been drawn, that confirms the suitability of the selected standardized assessment - Notingham sensory assesment - for the ergotherapists in the Czech Republic.

Besides that, this part looks into the options of studying abroad, now available to students, and analyses the evolution of students' and empoyees' mobility. The second part is practical part, focused on the practical application of theoretical knowledge and verifying its validity with the help of a research sample which consists of one hundred students who are studying at two main universities in the Czech republic and are participating in the Erasmus Programme of Student Exchange in the academic year 2013/2014. The chosen research method is the secondary data analysis based on the technique of a systematic probability sampling. The main objective of this study is to analyse and compare motivations and benefits of such journeys, and to examine the quality of assistance provided to the students during their stay abroad and the level of their integration into the foreign environment.

2. SUMMARY Author: Bc. Lenka Celbová Tutor: MUDr. Jiří Hochmann, CSc. Title of a work: HER-2/neu and other markers in breast tumours Diploma work Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Study programme: Healthcare bioanalytics The aim of our diploma work is to bring an overview of the tumour marker HER- 2/neu especially with focus on its activation, laboratory detection, relation to hormonal receptors, its role in tumorgenesis of breast carcinoma and also on the examination of its prognostic importace and its relation to the breast cancer treatment. In the clinical part of this review work we target especially the prognostic and predictive value of HER-2/neu. In many studies, a bad prognosis of HER-2/neu positive breast cancer was confirmed. In this connection the importance of determination of extracellular domain HER-2/neu in serum was examined in the literature. It is proved, that observation of this parameter is useful for monitoring of the patients with HER-2/neu positive carcinomas and there is also proved its predictive importance for the trastuzumab treatment. Another topic investigated in this work is expression of HER-2/neu de novo. Two studies, we found, confirm the opinion, that an amplification of HER-2/neu de novo can...

Šafářová, Marcela ; Kolář, Pavel (advisor) ; Véle, František (referee) ; Eckschlager, Tomáš (referee)
Musculoskeletal System Dysfunction in Patients in Long-Term Remission of Wilms Nephroblastoma Objective: The objective of this retrospective clinical study was to describe the multidisciplinary program of childhood cancer survivors in their young adult age in an adult-based ambulatory medical setting and to report the latent sequelae of the pathology. The hypothesis is that the treatment with all three modalities (chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery) causes the development of the latent effects in varying degrees. The goal of this study was to investigate the typical musculoskeletal system changes of survivors of Wilms Nephroblastoma who had previously received their basic treatment more than 5 years ago. Design: 151 subjects underwent clinical assessment of body posture, postural tests and evaluation on BalanceMaster® force plate. These tests were conducted in conjunction with other clinical evaluations, namely, pulmonary and renal function tests, immunology deficiency and exercise capacity to seek its relationship to the diseases' risk factors. The correlation between postural findings and the above clinical tests were investigated. Subjects: Ambulatory patients with a primary diagnosis of nephroblastoma who have undergone treatment greater than 5 years ago. Settings: Clinics at the University...
