Title: Analysis of test on physical competence of Joint Rescue System's members. Objectives: The main purpose is to analyze tests of physical competence of Joint Rescue System's members. Methods: The method of analysis was used in the work. The method of analysis was applied in the analysis of individual tests of physical fitness for the described components of the Joint Rescue System. Results: We've found that the physical tests of the components of the Joint Rescue System differ in the number and difficulty of individual physical tests. Differences were also found in the division into groups according to gender, age and job classification. However, the same elements in the strength of physical tests were also proven. Keywords: analysis, Joint Rescue System, physical training, tests.
Selection and development of educational materials for high school support webpage www.studiumchemie.cz
Zaspalová, Jana ; Šmejkal, Petr (advisor) ; Petrželová, Simona (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with selection, design and creation of new education materials for high school teacher supporting webpage www.studiumchemie.cz. The selection of the proper theme was done on the basis of research and evaluation of recent materials on the mentioned webpage and materials created at the Department of chemical education of Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague. Preliminarily, the themes of synthetic macromolecular materials and new materials were selected. The convenience of the selected themes was confirmed by research and evaluation concerned to the preliminarily selected theme of recent high school textbooks and webpages. Consequently, educational materials in the form of PowerPoint presentations, websites, worksheets, tests, games and experiments focused on the themes of synthetic macromolecular substances and new materials were created. Materials were processed in accordance with the Framework Education Programme for Secondary General Education (Grammar Schools) as well as in accordance with the requirements of the Catalogue of graduation exam requirements from chemistry. The PowerPoint presentation and the webpage on synthetic macromolecular materials were roughly evaluated by group of teachers and the results of the evaluation are also part of the thesis....

Petrášek, Pavel ; Chvál, Martin (advisor) ; Mandíková, Dana (referee)
Title: Scientific Literacy of 15-years old pupils in the Czech Republic in the International Survey PISA Author: Pavel Petrášek Department: Department of Physics Education Supervisor: PhDr. Martin Chvál, Ph.D., Department of Physics Education Abstract: My thesis focuses on the results of 15-year old pupils in selected tasks of the international survey PISA. It contains a brief introduction to the methodology of a survey and its realization in our conditions. The thesis presents relations between pupils` success and other variables found out in additional questionnaires, such as sex, parents` education, relation to mathematics or pupils` social and economical backgrounds. Besides the thesis contains the comparison of the importance of individual variables and results from the years 2000 and 2003. The thesis can be used as a theme for further research of mentioned relations and their comparison in a longer time horizon with other results. Electronic form of my thesis is on enclosed CD. Keywords: tests, international survey, scientific literacy
Postural stability of elite sportswomen - cross-sectional study
Pradáčová, Lucie ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Šorfová, Monika (referee)
Title: Postural stability of elite sportswomen - cross-sectional study Objectives: The aim of this work is to describe and evaluate postural stability in elite women's categories of selected sports specializations. a partial goal is to find out and compare selected parameters of static postural stability of football and volleyball players, both from the perspective of different age categories and from the point of view of the given sports specialization. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study involving a total of 278 female athletes (67 volleyball players, 211 football players) aged 14 and over. Footscan Balance desk (RSscan International, Belgium) was used to measure static postural stability. Tests were used: narrow stand open eyes, narrow stand closed eyes, stand on right lower limb, stand on left lower limb. The results of individual tests were statistically processed and compared. Statistical evaluation was performed using two way ANOVA test, type III and post-hoc Scheffe test. Statistical significance was determined to be p ≤ 0.05. Results: The results of the study showed that footballers have a better level of postural stability compared to volleyball players, and a significant difference was found in all four tests (p < 0.05). In terms of age category, youth players generally have better...

Kadlec, Jan ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Strnad, Pavel (referee)
Title: Selected parameters of postural stability in elite sport dance group. Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate selected parameters of postural stability in elite sport dancers in Czech Republic during their preparatory period and to define the relation of postural stability to body composition, equality and ability of explosive strength production of lower limbs. Methods: The group of 10 elite sport dancers, composed of men (n=5, age=25,1±2,4 years, height=181,9±3,8 cm, weight=73,7±7,5 kg) and women (n=5, age=24±3,2 years, height=169,1±5,7 cm, weight=53,8±3,6 kg), was longitudinally observed during their preparatory period. At the beginning and on the top (national championship) postural stability, body composition and dynamic performance were evaluated. These following devices were used for testing: force plate FootScan (RScan International, Belgium), bioimpedance analyzer BIA 2000M (Datainput, Germany) and Tanita (Tanita Corporation, Japan), dynamometric force plates Kistler 8611 (Kistler, Switzerland). Results were evaluated by descriptive and inductive (paired t-test) statistics. Results: Results showed high similarity of followed selected parameters in elite sport dancers at the beginning and also at the top of preparatory period. Postural stability was slightly impaired, but...

PhDr. Jiří Suchý, Ph.D. Objective: The aim of this thesis was to design and implement a training program for development of motor skills of junior ice hockey players and it's subsequent verification in practice during preparation period 2011/2012. This thesis is based and builds on author's Bachelor thesis, in which the author analysed fitness preparation of juniors in preparation period 2010/2011. In the thesis are both fitness programs compared and analysed. As for scientific research, the author worked with hockey team HK Dukla Trencin. Conclusions and hypothesis are listed in the conclusion of the thesis. Methods: In thesis was used method of research, the method of observation, methods of literary sources, method of interview and method of measurement and testing. Results: The obtained results should form a basis for further development of fitness plans for junior ice hockey players' preparation periods. Key words: ice-hockey, athletic phase, motional abilities, U16 ice-hockey players, training, tests.
Monitoring of speed training of soccer players U13
Aftanas, Lukáš ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Bujnovský, David (referee)
Title: Monitoring of speed training of soccer players U13 Objective: In the literature research to describe the basic atributes of youth soccer and on the basis of cross - sectional study in the form of single testing monitor to examine indicators of condition level of U13 youth soccer players in one soccer team, with particular regard to speed. Methods: The research group consisted of 17 youth soccer players from SK Aritma Praha U13. We used single testing monitor, consisted from 5 different assessments: Acceleration speed test (10m sprint with 5m recorded time), Absolute locomotion speed test (20m sprint), Agility and speed test (505- agility test), Test for explosive power of lower limbs (vertical jump) and test for upper limbs explosive power (overhead two- handed throw with medicine ball). To evaluate data we used paired double sides (two-tails) T- test and confident interval of student dividing with 95% probability. Results: The result of our study showed significant decrease of speed with growing number of attempts in running tests, while in power tests mean rate remain constant or was increased with the next attempt. In general we could say that mean rate of two attempts of the same test was same as our predictions, althought in every test was almost one attempt significantly different....
