Altitude control of flying robot
Palacký, Tomáš ; Šembera, Jaroslav (referee) ; Baránek, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals firstly with design and construction of a device for testing of altitude control algorithms of a flying robot. Secondly with creating and testing of an altitude control algorithm in order to apply findings while creating a copter control system. Provided is a selection and analysis of used hardware and software components – microcontroller AVR ATmega, ultrasonic sensor, motor controller and also communication interfaces IC, USART and SPI. Also design and realization of electrical wiring, circuit board and mechanical structure is being described here. The next section includes creation of software for microcontroller and PC application. The altitude control algorithm is developed using a simulation, furthermore tested and tuned for desired behavior.
Samples of examples for configurable gate array
Bajer, Jan ; Spáčil, Tomáš (referee) ; Bastl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis introduces the issue of configurable gate arrays and their position with respect to microprocessor technology. The aim is to present work with gate arrays on a set of basic realizations within the field of mechatronics. The examples are processed using VHDL and they are primarily intended for Altera / Intel devices.
Design and Testing of Algorithms for Controlling the Relative Humidity in the AFM Chamber
Nezval, David ; Šulc, Dalibor (referee) ; Bartošík, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with controlling the relative humidity in the AFM chamber. There are used controllers based on principles of PID controlling with constant coefficient, self-tuning PID controlling and fuzzy controlling for the automatic controlling. This principles are explained and with this knowledge are designed and tested four algorithm for controlling the relative humidity.
Laboratory electronic load 400 W
Horna, Aleš ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the construction of a laboratory electronic load purpose of which is to test various sources of electric energy, for instance electronic power supplies or accumulators. The thesis states possible designs of electronic circuits forming such an electronic load, it mentions factory manufactured devices, it describes the way of designing parts of the device, choice of components, conduction of circuit simulations for function verification of designed circuits and mechanical construction.
Design of a quadcopter model
Fiala, Jan ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation and implementation of a quadcopter model. The first part summarizes the basic division of unmanned systems and the rules of legislation limiting their operation. Subsequently, the problematics of motion dynamic is discussed. The practical part first describes the selection of components used, their connection, and the creation of the quadcopter frame. The implemented control system and calibration are also described. In the final part, a flight test, price analysis, and rating in comparison with the competitive product are included. The conclusion contains an evaluation of the work, possible improvements, and reflections on the future use of the model.
Practical Use of Higher Control Systems
Kůtka, Michal ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the implementation of higher controllers to the commonly used practice in the automation of technological processes. It uses the DCS system from Siemens - PCS 7 and its advanced APC (Advanced Process Control) library. The aim of this master thesis is a theoretical summary of resources and available tools for real-time deployment. The master thesis briefly introduces the Siemens PCS 7 DCS system and the APC library tools (functional blocks). For these types of regulators, their proper use is discussed.
Single wheel vehicle
Hanuš, Radek ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to design and build a self-balancing vehicle similar to a skateboard, utilizing only one wheel located in the centre of the device. The steering will be controlled by driver‘s tilt and the ride will resemble snowboarding or surfing. The initial part focuses on a comparison between commercially available devices. Frequently used components and their main attributes are described in the next part. After that, a possible solution is outlined, followed by an electrical design and firmware‘s function explanation. Final build, its set-up and overall results are summarised in the last part of this thesis.
Synthesis of circuit element with fractal dynamics
Domanský, Ondřej ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The first aim of this diploma thesis is to clarify problems with circuit elements described by the fractional-order dynamics, show their basic properties and possible applications in circuits with lumped parameters. The second topic is covering the synthesis of two-terminal devices which have different fractional-orders for requested phase shifts. For this kind of devices, the thesis also describes their optimization and approximation in the frequency domain and subsequent implementation in the form of passive ladder structures. The final part of diploma work will be focused on practical realization of universal fractional PID controller and the verification of proper function of this multi-port in various configurations to prove its correct function via real measurement of frequency and time responses.
Realisation and commissioning of the control system for flow control in a hydraulic model
Adamec, David ; Janda, Karel (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The dominant theme of this bachelor´s thesis is launching of control system of laboratory model of hydraulic circuit with fulfilment follow-up flow control. The first part is devoted to basics of theory of proceedings with follow-up describtion of components of hydraulic model. Next parts are devoted to identification, suggestion of PID regulator with programme realization for PLC, describtion and configuration of actuating device. The last part is engaged in visualization and possible configuration of PID regulator by means of operator panel.
Automatic control for factory building heating
Prudek, Miroslav ; Voldán, Jiří (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The graduation thesis is focused on the automatic operating of heating of the production hall of První brněnská strojírnaVelká Bíteš, a.s. The thesis consists of an analysis of present state of the heating technology and solution of the general conception of the automatic operating of the heating. Integrated part of the conception is heat-up of the supply water and drain off of the condensation water from the air heating units. Outcome of this graduation thesis is a design of the algorithm for operating of the regulated system. Remote supervision and control of the regulated system shall be ensured by the visualization setting, which shall be implemented into the station of dispatching centre. The accuracy of the design of the part of regulated system shall be validated as a design of PID regulator with the use of “Matlab” program and it´s module “Simulink”. To set up parameters of the PID regulator, “Ziegler-Nichols” method shall be applied. The objective pay-off period of investments for regulation controlling system is figured out as a part of this thesis as well.
