Service Point Part of the Caterng Information System

This thesis is about making catering information system. "Only" service point part has been realized, because of huge size of whole system. This WinForm application is based on internal 3-layer architecture. From outer perspective, there are only two layers - client one and server one. Besides customizing bill of fare, service point part also provides efficient work with touch screens, which are used for food output. Strong emphasis lay on implemented user interface, stability and also solving problems like offline functionality

Title Selected nutrition aspects of female students at chosen universities in the Czech Republic Abstract The objective of this Bachelor thesis is to focus on specific aspects of selected female university students in the Czech Republic. Initial chapter describes basic life-style facts of this group. Following chapters list and compare youth and adult nutrition habits. General nutrition issues are also presented in this project including family and school nutrition addition to public nutrition analyses. There is also chapter specifying sample of university student, nutrition habits and relevant research. The practical part presents own university student research. The output of this research did not prove any significant fluctuation in female student nutrition at selected universities. The design proposes a student centre, situated near the city centre on a junction of a major radial street Videnska and the embankment. Its compact volume completes a block of built-up area. There is a canteen on the ground floor, while the upper six floors contain student housing. Its living units are organized around a central atrium that makes up a continuous social space consisting of galleries, platforms, stairways and rooms with loggias. The expressive use of colours emphasizes the corner and distinguishes each floor from the others.

The target was to make a missing corner with a import. Buildings on the bunding have a same high. So I decided to keep it. My building is so high as a hotel Austerlitz. The building of students center isn´t in contrast with other buildings. It respect and complement current estate. It is building of quality students cheep living. Grey color of facade is similar as grey sheeting on the hotel. Yellow is a color of young, modern, creative residents of this Students center

The theme of my work was designing of a house on a corner site, which lies on the bank of the river Svratka on the edge of the city districts Staré Brno and Štýřice. The site is located in proximity to two universities and the building program is based on this situation. I propose there a student dormitory, which will be able to accommodate 201 students. There are also a school canteen, small sushi bar and a shop located on the ground floor. Parking is situated on two underground floors as well as technical facilities of the building. Mass of the building is a result of the position and shape of the site. The building is L-shaped, slightly receding in the corner and widening a sidewalk. The concept is based on the contrast between private and common areas in the accommodation part of the building, which occupies the second to seventh floor. Private parts with bedrooms are compact and closed, these four masses protrude into the street. Three glassed atriums rise among them throughout the whole height of the facade. The public spaces and community rooms are located there. The last floor recedes from the street and offers beautiful views from the spacious terrace.

The aim of this work is solution of the area of the corners of streets Vídeňská and Táborského nábřeží by program of student housing and canteen for a total capacity of two hundred persons. The proposed project draws from a location on the river and the historical context of three monasteries in the area, which offers a typological study of the monasteries, and works with the architectural vision of the Tower of Babel. The main elements of the concept is a ramp through the entire building, which serves as a platform for the student social life.
