Němec, Petr ; Toman, Marek (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this Bachelor´s thesis is design of an power inverter for BDC motor 36 V/800 W with permanent magnets. The first part of this work is devoted to the brief description of drive elements, which with designed converter create drive system. It´s also contain measures of used BDC motor MY1020. In the second part there is a outline description of functions and connection of DC/DC converters with respect to the final solution. The power circuit will be built with the MOS-FET IRFP4110 connected to the H bridge. Transducer control logic will be provided by the microcontroller development board Arduino UNO 3 with the integrated driver circuit IR2110.
Laboratory model of an machine for printed wiring
Posekaný, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
Production of printed circuit boards using three-axis CNC milling machine is suitable for small batch production. Milling machine consists of three axes, which are controlled by stepper motors. Controlled by a PC connected to the control electronics to communicate over the serial line. Input data is exported from the Eagle design software. The core of the control unit´s processor family, the AVR ATmega16, motor drivers for the ATmega8. Transfer between PC and the device is implemented using a virtual person through USB.
Sensors and motor control of mobile robot
Zatloukal, Jiří ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis is dealing with the proposal and realization of the sensor and drive system of the four wheel mobile robot. The control unit is a miniature computer Raspberry Pi. The robot will be employed in the future for the environment mapping and location. For this purpose robot exploits the different types of sensors. The information of these sensors is being processed by the Xmega microcontroller. Another microcontroller together with H-bridge DRV-8432 is used to control the direct current drives.
Design of a Body and Sensor System of a Robot
Marvan, Aleš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with a problematic of mobile robot design. There is proposed a design and realization of a mobile robot intended for an international competition - Minisumo. The first step in the development process is collecting of information, which helps us to find the most suitable elements. The next step is choosing of the individual elements fulfilling the design requirements according to their specification.
High efficiency control circuits for LEDs
Havlík, Vojtěch ; Máca, Josef (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design two different switching power supply circuits with integrated circuits suitable for controlling of LED. The theoretical part describes the principles of two main switching converters topologies – buck and boost. Furthermore, a universal H-bridge structure of switching supply is described. This is compared with the typical switching supply design. Based on specified requirements, two circuits are designed with selected IO which are suitable for using in the automotive industry. Their function and typical schema are described. In the practical part is realized design with both selected IC, choosing components and layout PCB. Set of tests are carried out with manufactured samples. Based on measured results are performed optimalization of samples, which are tested also. In the end of this thesis both samples are compared in terms of function, efficiency and EMC.
Developement of electronics and software on robotic vehicle Car4
Modeling of DC motor in MATLAB/Simulink
Kunovský, Martin ; Kerlin,, Tomáš (referee) ; Hubík, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the direct current motors, their properties and modelling. For modelling mathematic modul of direct current motor was created, which is linked to H-bridge and managed of PWM signal. After that general user environment GUI was created, which can run simulation after setting primary motor characteristic, and we can monitor it. This is executed in environment Matlab&simulink.
Positioner for Solar Panel with Power Efficiency Optimizing
Kreysa, Karel ; Punčochář, Josef (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design and prototyping of solar panel position control system for an obtaining of the maxima renewable energy from sun. In this thesis, various ways of solar panel positioning are considered and analyzed. Consequently, a construction arrangement of the positioner is presented. It is mechanically adapted to obtain the maximum efficiency in typical environment corresponding with the Central European geographical latitude. Different methods of sun monitoring are considered and analyzed. On the basis of this analysis, a proper prototype of sun monitor for exact positioning with disturbance filtering has been constructed. Following part of work is devoted to stable, fully automated, control subsystem for reliable functionality of solar system. A suitable microprocessor with a robust firmware has been implemented to this control unit. Finally, system parameters measurement and closing analysis of gained renewable energy and backflow computation is presented in the end of this diploma thesis.
Automotive LED driver with additional functions
Vlach, Marek ; Duz, Aleksei (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
In this diploma thesis, the design and construction of a LED driver with additional functions for the automotive industry is carried out to meet its requirements. The LED driver is based on the principle of DC/DC converter in H-bridge topology, which is used to supply a string of power LEDs. The combined function of the daytime running lights and position lights governed by the driver control electronics is then implemented on the LED string. Other additional functions of the driver are temperature regulation of the output current and error reporting in case of a fault condition on the LED string. A set of typical measurements on a manufactured sample including functional tests, efficiency measurements, thermal analysis and EMC testing are employed to verify the driver parameters.
