Sivila, Siddartha Humberto ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Bachelor thesis title: Evaluation of selected biomechanical parameters in triple jump Prepared by: Siddartha Humberto Sivila Supervisor of the bachelor thesis: Mgr. Vladimír Hojka, Ph.D. Aims of the thesis: The aim of the thesis was to determine the correlation between individual phases and overall performance in the triple jump, whether approach speed is an influencing factor, and if there is any correlation between performance and ground contact time in individual phases. Methodology: This study focused on utilizing the method of secondary analysis and correlation comparison to identify relationships and trends in data obtained from the Championship of Czech Republic, published on the website of the Czech Athletic Association. Results: The research demonstrated that the most decisive role in triple jump performance is determined by the hop phase, followed by the step phase. 18,8 % of the triple jump performance can be explained by the approach speed. Keywords: athletics, triple jump, analysis, evaluation, biomechanics, performance.

Takácsová, Markéta ; Vostatková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Assessment of training and performance development of the athlete Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate the performance development of a sprinter who switched to athletics from another sport at the age of 17. The work focuses on the analysis of sports preparation, the evaluation of performance development in the athletic disciplines of 60 m and 100 m and the identification of key factors influencing his sports success. Methods: The study used the method of content analysis of training diaries from the RTC, in which the assessed sprinter achieved a personal best in the 100 m run. This is the RTC 2012/2013. General training indicators and special training indicators for sprints in athletics were obtained from the training diaries and subsequently evaluated. These training indicators were compared with the recommended values for the male category according to Kampmiller et al., (2002). Results: The analysis of the training diaries showed that the monitored sprinter P. B. exceeded the recommended values for the volume of strengthening with equipment and several times also for rebounding exercises. It shows comparable values with the recommended ones for maximum speed volume, speed endurance and special running exercises. We record a significantly lower volume in the case...

Title: Training means and methods for developing the special strength of adult pole vaulters Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a list of exercises used in the special strength training of pole vaulters. Another goal is their description for the best possible understanding of the exercise. Further, subsequent photo documentation for better orientation in the execution of the exercise. And the following description of the use of exercises in training. Methods: Information for the bachelor's thesis was obtained from special literature. Another important source of information was my own training and racing experience. Further consultations with pole vaulting experts. A selection of exercises from the literature and information from experts. Their subsequent photo shoot, photo editing and description. Results: I successfully created a list of exercises and discovered many new exercises that I can continue to use in my training. The exercises were simply described, and thanks to the photographic documentation, the exercises can be performed easily. Evaluation of selected biomechanical parameter's in triple jump
Sivila, Siddartha Humberto ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Hojka, Vladimír (referee)
Bachelor thesis title: Evaluation of selected biomechanical parameters in triple jump Prepared by: Siddartha Humberto Sivila Supervisor of the bachelor thesis: Doc. PhDr. Ales Kaplan, Ph.D., MBA. Aims of the thesis: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate selected biomechanical parameters of medalists from the Czech Republic Triple Jump Championships in recent years. The thesis focused on analyzing the performances of Czech triple jumpers, approach velocities, lengths of individual jumps, and ground contact times. An additional objective was to examine the relationship between ground contact time and speed loss, in order to determine whether the statement holds true that shorter ground contact time results in lesser speed loss. Methodology: The research utilized a method of analysis and comparison based on data obtained from the website of the Czech Athletics Federation. Foreign scientific articles and Czech literature were used to enhance understanding. Comparisons were conducted between the indoor and outdoor seasons. Performance comparisons were made among individual jumpers occupying medal positions. Additionally, a comparison was made between the indoor and outdoor seasons. Haasová, Simona ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
Athletics is a popular sport in Domažlice. It is performed by athletes of all age groups who have no awareness of their club or their sport. This is one of the main problems. There has been no solid records taken so far, summarizing the activities on the athletic field of this geographical region. Therefore, this thesis should bring closer the history of athletics in Domažlice and evaluate the activities of athletics clubs in this region from the very beginning to the present, with a particular focus on AC Domažlice club. Marginally the thesis should be dealing with general history of athletics in Czechia and in the world.

Methodology: We focused on comparing and evaluating the accumulated data of female finalists in the 100m hurdles from 2003 to 2022 in the World Championships and Olympic Games. From each World Championship and Olympic Games, we selected the finalists of the 100 m hurdles (the fastest 8 athletes). We collected information on the WCH, OH, times, rankings, and anthropometric characteristics (height, body weight, and Body Mass Index). Furthermore, we processed the data based on basic statistical characteristics, particularly mean, standard deviations, minimum and maximum values of the performances. We compared all of this data among each other. In the supplementary section, we created tables that serve as source data, while...

Mutinská, Lucie ; Vařeková, Jitka (advisor) ; Kovařovic, Vojtěch (referee)
Title: Compensatory foot arch exercises for athletes under the age of 18 Objectives: The aim of the Bachelor thesis was to examine the effect of compensatory exercises on the shape and function of the foot arch in athletes under the age of 18. Method: In a quantitative empirical study in the form of a quasi-experiment, a group of performance athletes from track and field sports club ASK Dipoli z.s (n = 10, 6 girls, 4 boys) underwent a 2-month intervention program to support the foot arch. Separate exercises for activating and stabilising the foot arch took place 3 times a week for 10 minutes. In the data collection, diagnostic tests, biomedical and physical measurements related to the foot arch were used in both the pre-test and post-test: aspection, palpation, evaluation of leg stabilization, anthropometric data regarding the foot arch, evaluation of the foot printed on paper, and other specific tests. Using the Excel software, the results were recorded and statistically processed at the level of comparison of values between each test. Results: As a result of the intervention, 2 of the 10 probands experienced changes in leg stabilization, which was assessed with a test by standing on 1 leg. All 10 probands experienced foot-shaped changes: the foot posture index (100%) test in particular showed...

Title: Proposal of sport programme with focus on athletic for preschool education Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to develop a movement program focused on athletics for preschool children and to test it in a kindergarten. Methods: This is a case study that is descriptive in nature. We used testing to provide input on the motor abilities and skills of preschool children. In addition, the test battery served us to test the effect of an applied movement program focused on athletic skills. We selected the tests from the DMT and MOBAK test battery - 10 m run, long jump from a standing position, depth of forward bend, and target throw. In addition, scaling was used to assess the ball throwing technique. The last method used was participant observation during the implementation of the movement program. Results: The movement program focused on athletic skills was divided into 10 sessions of 45 minutes each and each session included 4 parts: busy, preparatory, main and final. The effectiveness of the program was verified by a selected test battery. Significant improvement was observed in the long jump test from the spot and in the 10 m run. Similarly, there was a significant improvement in the technical performance of the shot put. There was not as much improvement in the flexibility test and the...
