Intelligent Presence Detection
Kronika, Vojtěch ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
In this work I dealt with the solution of indoor localization, its design and implementation. We are at a time when the topic of smart home is a daily affair and the solution for indoor localization does not have a certain winner yet. The goal of this work is to create an intelligent presence detector, using Bluetooth technology, which recognizes in which room the device is located. And it estimates in which part of the room the device can be located. To achieve the goal, I use at least three sensors in each room and compare the signal strengths between the sensors and the localized device. A Kalman filter is used for a noise reduction on data signals from sensors. The result of the work is a functional solution for indoor localization. I have found that it is not easy to use rapidly changing signal strength within triangulation to obtain the exact position of the device. Further work could address what needs to be done to make triangulation possible and functional. One of possible directions is an exploration of Bluetooth Direction Finding technology.
Generic Configuration Interface for Virtual Machines
Krajňák, Martin ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this work is to document the development process of configuration dialogs for oVirt entities. Main focus is placed on virtual machine dialog as it has plenty of dependencies related to each other. The work also describes communication with oVirt engine through REST API and experimentally ManageIQ REST API. Dialogs are created using modern Javascript frameworks React, Redux and Redux-Saga to secure proper content and state management in every possible situation. The development work done by this thesis should improve the code base, user-experience and speed up execution of basic tasks.
Visualising CPU Activity
Ďurčo, Marián ; Češka, Milan (referee) ; Vojnar, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is intended to be a complement for learning about the RISC pipeline. Product of this thesis is a web application. After reviewing various tools and libraries suitable for this work, we have chosen two main libraries React and Redux. The created solution allows the instruction flow to be displayed in the RISC pipeline as well as states of the registers and the memory. It makes easy to perform transitions between the various parts of the visualization. This visualization allows a basic understanding of the RISC pipeline principles and also individual assembly instructions.
Web Editor for SPARQL
Paulovič, Daniel ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Target of this thesis is to create web editor for query language SPARQL as component in javascript framework Vue.js and web application using this component to query over SPARQL endpoints. To implement editor were used CodeMirror library and PrimeVue library for user interface. Final version of component is publicly available as npm package. Benefit of this thesis is easily importable editor with many functions to simplify writing queries.
Home automation, control unit
Konečný, Jakub ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on theory about a home automation and represents the solution of the smart central server unit, designed to control wireless connected devices, read and display temperature, pressure, relative humidity data and set up automatic functions in graphical user interface. The work is more focused on the software section and describes the implementation of server technologies.
Software for Digital Mixing Console
Zoň, Robin ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of a software for digital mixing console built on the Windows platform. This software is designed to offer real-time multi-channel audio processing using multiple input and output units, signal routing between these units and insertion and management of VST plug-in modules. The software uses an audio interface connected with ASIO technology. The thesis is divided into several applications. Main application which computes audio samples and allows insertion and management of plug-ins is programmed in C++ using JUCE technology. This application can be controlled with its own local graphical interface or with web control interface, which is programmed in TypeScript with the use of React technology. Web interface allows user to control VST plug-in modules with its own custom implementation of plug-in control.
Browser Game with Artificial Intelligence
Moravec, Michal ; Volf, Tomáš (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
Thesis describes design and implementation of a web browser game, which can be played by multiple players via the internet. The main goal is to manage the economy, although players can cooperate (trading) or play against each other (battles). NoSQL database is used for persistent storage of progress, which is also described in the thesis. Apart from human players there are also agents/bots, which play the game autonomously via state machines generated by genetic algorithms. Paper describes design and functionality of either the genetic algorithms, but also the state machines.
Use of Slack API for HeadlessCMS
Hruška, Jozef ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a content management system with open application interface (Headless CMS) and capability of content management inside Slack application. Installation and use of system does not require any configuration by user. Open (public) and closed (hidden) application interface is built following GraphQL specification. The public interface is read-only which means it is not possible to insert or modify data through this interface. The output of this work is a fully functional prototype implemented with tools as React and Node.js with focus on user-friendly interface.
Registration System with Templates
Šesták, Pavel ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this work was to create a web information system, which is used to record materials, documents and generate output documents for the customer. The application was divided into a client part and a server part. The server part was implemented using C# ASP.NET Core 3.1 and the client part using the React framework in conjunction with the Redux library. Communication between clients was realized using a websock library signalR. The server part of the application was subsequently tested by automatic tests. The client part was tested according to the use case diagram. During the implementation, emphasis was placed on the use of generic classes to simplify testability and make it easier to extend the entire system. The information system is deployed on a corporate server within IIS and tested on real users.
Implementation of the information system
Foltýn, Martin ; Koch, Miloš (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
Aim of this Master’s thesis is analysis, design and implementation of an information system for a company doing school photography. Thesis is structured into three parts. In the first part, we describe theory about the analytical methods and also the technology perspective. In the second part, we describe the problem and requirements for the application. In the third part, we describe design of the structure, funcionality and user interface of the information system.
