Title: Error in the point of view of the French as a second foreign language in the lower secondary school context Author: Mgr. Tomáš Klinka Department: Department of Pedagogy Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Marie Fenclová, CSc. Abstract: This thesis focuses on the subject of error in the context of Czech lower secondary school and second foreign language (L3) instruction. This work has three purposes: first, to complete the basic literature in this domain using the publications issued from the French speaking world of educational research that are not quoted in the Czech academic field. Second, to analyze how the elements that intervene in the pedagogical process treat the question of error, and third, using the conclusions obtained, to make explicit the problems which pose the present treatment of the question of error and to indicate the direction of a future research in this domain. So as to attain the first goal, we propose and comment the work of some French specialists in the field of educational science and their conclusions, mainly the typology of errors created by Astolfi. As for the second goal, our thesis provides an analysis of the official regulations concerning teaching and learning in the Czech Republic, exposes the mental representations of error with which both students and teachers...

Divišová, Anna-Marie ; Pavlas Martanová, Veronika (advisor) ; Frombergerová, Anna (referee)
The work deals with the experience of online teaching at the lower secondary school in the English language subject. This is a qualitative research investigation carried out by semi- structured interviews with English language teachers. The work contains authentic testimonies of respondents, experiences and their experience of distance learning in the autumn and winter of 2020. It presents profiles of individual respondents with their quotes. It also discusses the resulting topics such as online teaching in the general sense, where it describes what online teaching means to teachers as a concept, what they imagine underneath, etc. It lists the main circumstances that may have influenced online teaching, from a teacher's point of view. The work is provided with a theoretical framework that mainly approximates the role of communication in online teaching, the motivation of pupils to learn and also presents the results of other research investigations already carried out into distance learning. Responsibilities of a form master at a contemporary lower secondary school
Kodrlová, Lenka ; Richterová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Hanková, Zdeňka (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the definition of the responsibilities of a form master at a lower secondary school. The aim is to describe which activities should constitute the responsibilities of a form master at a lower secondary school, which activities form masters actually carry out, how their responsibilities are defined, and the way the form masters are informed about what they are expected to do. The theoretical part provides an overview of what can be found about form masters' work and their responsibilities in the specialized literature. In the practical part, documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Czech School Inspectorate were scrutinised using the method document analysis. The analysis has shown that these documents do not contain any lucid definition of a form master and nor do they provide any list of their responsibilities. The second research method used in this thesis is a structured interview with four form masters working at different lower secondary schools. The interviews helped to find out what responsibilities these four form masters have to carry out and how they were informed about them. The four teachers have more or less the same responsibilities; taking attendance, communicating with parents and organizing school events being the most...

Nejedlý, Adam ; Vojíř, Karel (advisor) ; Brůnová, Linda (referee)
Scientific thinking is an essential skill for full application in society associated with responsible human decision-making. The development of research skills and knowledge also contributes to its complexity. For the possibility of their systematic development, it is necessary to map the current situation of students in primary schools. The aim of the work was to find out what are the research skills of these students in the field of correctly formulating a research question based on specific problem and after finding a solution to formulate an answer to a given research question. Four research-oriented tasks were used, which were solved by 58 students from the seventh grade of primary school. It was found that more than half of the students are not able to formulate the research question correctly and more than one third of the students are unable to formulate the answer to the given research question correctly.

Sanetrníková, Tereza ; Dvořáková, Michaela (advisor) ; Samek, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis analyses the approach to the concept of family in general Czech educational programme, specific educational programs of selected schools and currently used textbooks for Civics. The analysis is put into the context of current state of knowledge of the topic Czech family. Based on these findings, a teaching concept of the topic family at Lower Secondary Schools is presented. The proposed concept aims to help the children understand their family situation as well as prepare them for future situations while respecting the children's privacy. It combines methods of cooperative teaching, competence learning and unstructured staging. In the proposed concept, children form groups representing simulated families and take roles of given family members. A list of supporting teaching materials is attached in the appendix. These materials can be used to create a portfolio of information about the simulated family. KEY WORDS didactics, family, Lower Secondary School, family problems, Civics
