Grass Rendering
Berdis, Tomáš ; Kobrtek, Jozef (referee) ; Starka, Tomáš (advisor)
Grass is an integral part of most of the outdoor scenes. In the real world, grass occurs in big numbers, which brings a lot of challenges during rendering in computer graphics. This thesis discusses various techniques for real-time rendering. Result of this thesis is an application capable of rendering grass fields using hardware tessellation.
Leisure time centre Brno - Brno reservoir
Novotný, Lukáš ; Velek, Jan (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor)
The proposed leisure center building Rowing Club bellows is located in southern part of the Brněnské přehrady between section Rakovec and Kozí horka. The building stands on existing club Lodní sporty Brno in the parcel čp. 1236. The idea of building is a ship sailing on the mainland, whose sails it look like waves. Student accommodation is designed to the second, third and fourth floor. Restaurant and administrative facilities connected to the terrace is designed in the basement. In the first underground floors are designed locker rooms, athletic facilities, kitchen and in the second underground floors is designed rowing pools and rowing boatyards connected to the ground. On the eastern side is a wooden rack tribune. Roads and pavements around the building are designed with simplicity and function.
HOUSE ON THE EDGE – Valašské Meziříčí, Sokolská Street
Hraba, Adam ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
Building is constructed in the stream of 21.century. SO you canť find any reminiscenc or plagiation of old 20.century architecture. Only in some deatils is house inspirated by the visualisation of 7O´. Object is full of advaced technoliges wich consist this building in new energy level
Analysis of the possibilities of linking building and economic software and software for technical drawing
Domanský, Vojtěch ; Biolek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is the analysis of the possibilities of data linking of building design software with building-economical software for budgeting from the point of view of building information modeling. The theoretical part deals with BIM issues. It contains a general definition of the method and its bases, addresses the possible benefits, the current state of implementation in the Czech Republic and abroad, the relationship with the participants in the building process and the life cycle of the building. The next part describes the currently used procedures in the building valuation phase. The last, practical part of the thesis contains a draft of linking the data between the software for creating the BIM model and the cost documentation for budgeting in order to transfer the necessary information more efficiently and simplify the valuation process.
Seamless Patches for GPU-Based Terrain Rendering Algorithm Implementation
Jozefov, David ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartoň, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with terrain rendering using a modern algorithm for adaptive level of detail. It describes two currently most used graphical application interfaces and high-level libraries that use them and summarizes principles and features of several level-of-detail algorithms for terrain rendering. In more detail it then describes the implementation of Seamless patches for GPU-based terrain rendering algorithm.
Minimal Representation of the Božetěchova Complex
Král, Tomáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The document describes developing graphical application with limited size. It describes suitable techniques for a polygonal mesh's compression. The second part is focused on practical usage of this techniques for developing scene in 3D modeling environment and also describes how to transfer this model to the executable file. The work attends to optimalizations of source code compilation and executables compression at the final chapters.
LOD for GPUEngine
Staněk, Jan ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Starka, Tomáš (advisor)
The representation of 3D polygonal model on several levels of available detail is a problem inherent in the process of rendering a scene. Highly-detailed models, if placed far from the camera, suffer from spatial aliasing that results from inadequate sampling of their surface, and require disproportionately large amount of time to render. Low-detailed models on the other hand reduce the visual quality of the scene when placed too near to the camera. This report delves in both the theory and the practical techniques used for solving these problems. It describes various published solutions and the principles behind them, and presents a design and an implementation of selected techniques for the GPUEngine library.
Algorithms for Mesh Simplification
Milata, Václav ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
The topic of the thesis is using of OpenSceneGraph, tools for LOD and algorithms for mesh simplification. The result is a game prototype and a program for demonstrating algorithms.
Virtual Interactive Walk through Scenery
Halas, Petr ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Stružka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the issues of modelling a scenery in OpenGL. It contains theoretical principle of 3D displaying with OpenGL functions and description of some of the technologies made for realistic objects and efects modelling. These technologies are demonstrated on an application modelling an interactive walk through scenery, which is eventually tested with questionnaires, filled by a group of volunteers.
Motif of ships and fish on Baroque pulpits in Central Europe
Eliáš, Štěpán ; Oulíková, Petra (advisor) ; Pučalík, Marek (referee)
Ship and Fish motif of baroque pulpits in Central Europe The subject of the bachelor's thesis are the pulpits. Specifically, those that originated in the Baroque period and in the history of art have experienced the terms Schiffskanzel, Fischerkanzel, Schiff-Petri Kanzel and Fischkanzel. What these pulpits have in common, apart from the location in the Central European area,is that they contain the theme of fishing and sailing. The reader will get acquainted with the mutual relations of ship and fish pulpits.
