Information System for Accommodation Services
Bargl, Vojtěch ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with microservice architecture. Main goals of this thesis is analysis of microservice architecture, comparison with monolith architecture and creation of a information system with the help of concepts revealed from the microservices architecture. This thesis reveals the volume of work that this architecture entails. The system is suitable for the management of apartments, users and reservations. This thesis describes the most important factors obtained from the analysis of this architecture, the process of specifying the domain of accommodation services and the development of the system itself with the help of the application of these concepts.
Mobile Application for Robotic Arm Programming
Jurka, Vojtěch ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and creation of a system which controls and programs a robotic arm through a mobile application. The system consists of an Android mobile application and a server. The server is implemented like a Python script to process the app communication and then send instructions to the robotic arm. This approach makes it easy to use one mobile device to control several robots independently.   This solution enables the user to control and program the robotic arm in real time using intuitive control elements and to create and edit applications for the robot. All through his mobile device. The programs for the robot are created with the methods of visual programming directly in the mobile application. This way of robotic arm control contributes to the accessibility of these devices to the less professional public, which could utilize these devices.
Particle Swarm Optimization Library
Hruban, Milan ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Bidlo, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to develop a library that is able to solve optimization tasks using PSO. The library is implemented using Kotlin and is designed to achieve high extensibility and usability. Moreover, a tool for processing and statistical analysis of experiments performed using the library is implemented by means of the Jupyter Notebook environment. The utilization of these tools creates a setup suitable for experimenting with the current and developing new variations of the PSO algorithm.
Navigation in Public Transport
Turic, Matúš ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the issue of traveling in public transport. In the first part the author informs about similar applications and theories necessary for understanding the problems. In the second part, the author describes the design and behavior of the mobile and server application, including the used technologies. Created mobile application has the task of navigating the user from one point to another in the shortest possible time, while it should be possible to replace the current route with faster one.
Mobile Application for Scanning Sudoku from Newspapers and Finishing It
Lazorík, Juraj ; Kanich, Ondřej (referee) ; Dyk, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the creation of a mobile application, that scans sudoku layout from the newspaper and allows its solving. The application is developed for the Android and is implemented in Kotlin. Scanning is done by taking picture of layout with camera. Basic image processing methods such as thresholding or Canny's edge detector are used to detect the sudoku layout. Number recognition is provided by convolution neural network with 99.08 % accuracy. The application allows solving sudoku with hints. Elimination methods and backtracking are used to find solution. Each scanned sudoku is stored in the database so the user can always return to any game. The final version of the application is published in the Google Play store.
Multiband solar sensors data acquisition and cloud processing
Mobile App for Editing and Viewing Simple Weekly Schedules
Džubarová, Romana ; Škandera, Juraj (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a mobile application that will write down the regular weekly activities of the user. Users are not only university or high school students, but the application is intended to appeal to all people who need to register for regular activities during the week. Users can create activities which are inserted into the table. These activities can be changed or deleted. The application allows you to create a test task. It is possible to set a notification for the exams, which the user will receive at the time of the exam, or he can change this time in the Settings. The user can also change what his table will look like in Settings. He can change the days on which he wants to record activities or the start and end time of activity. The application can also be set to dark mode to save battery life. The bachelor thesis describes the design, implementation, testing, and also future intentions for my mobile application.
Rendering on "Looking Glass"
Kotáb, Dominik ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on rendering real objects from the real world on stereo display called  "Looking Glass", a device from the company Looking Glass Factory Inc., whose main advantage is three-dimensional rendering. The working roots are designing and implementing a mobile application that, with the help of a user, creates a format, which then can be projected on the display. The first part of the thesis presents the basics of 3D rendering, on which the functionality of the device is based. The second part of the thesis covers the design of a mobile application, which is based on the official documentation of this stereo display. The completed mobile app captures a recording in a straight line of the viewed object, while the application verifies the correctness of the movement. The footage then can be cropped, individual views of the object have to be stabilized and then converted to the format required by the Looking Glass. The created format is correctly displayed and creates a three dimensional illusion. The result was implemented on an Android mobile system.
Mobile App for Management and Reservation of Sports Lessons
Hynek, Tomáš ; Tomešek, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a mobile application for Android that will offer management for reservations of training lessons. There are two user roles in the application. The first one is coach who can offer his lessons to other users. Users then can book this lesson right from the application. Coach can also manage all of his lessons and see his reservations in calendar. The second type of user is an athlete who can search for training lessons by name or place distance and then he can book them. The name of the application is Fittyy and it complies with Material Design rules. It uses advanced technologies like Android Jetpack to store local data, implement MVVM model or process server requests in the background. Communication between coach and athlete was implemented using CMS system made by Dactyl Group s.r.o.
Mobile Application Rendering Digital Elevation Models in Real Time
Hejl, Radim ; Tomešek, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with terrain rendering on mobile device in realtime. It focuses on current developement of applications in operating system Android, especially rendering of graphics using OpenGL ES. Based on this information and actual state of existing solutions, there is designed, implemented and tested resulting application, that renders surrounding terrain and navigating in it using sensors of device.
