External communication in organization Junák - Český skaut z.s.

The bachelor thesis deals with work with external volunteers of scout centre in Přelouč. At first, the work describes the aim and progress of the work. The aim of the thesis is to find out how to attract students of grammar school to engage with scout centre. The individual theoretical chapters deal with generation Z, work with volunteers, non-profit organizations, namely Junák. The practical part describes research in the form of a questionnaire survey, analysis of research results and recommendations for a scout centre.
Personal management of Junák

This diploma thesis investigates the human resource management in Junak. It focuses on the basic organisational units in Junak. The topic of the diploma thesis follows the personal areas from Strategy 2022, which contains visions that are supposed to be fullfilled by 2022. The aim of this study is to monitor the practice of human resource management in organisational units with good people management. The theoretical part involves explanations of human resource management fundamental terms and engages in relevant subjects which are related. The empirical part is divided into two areas. The first one introduces the Scout movement in general, the Scout organisation in Great Britain and the organisation Junak and its strategy. It describes the organisational structures and focuses on the department of human resource management and support for volunteers. The second area is the research itself. Sixty Scout units were chosen for the study. I addressed 18 leaders of units according to some qualitative indicators and special recommendations, 14 interviews took place. Interviews focused on the practical experience, inspiration, personal attitudes and opinions of the leaders or their deputies. Scouting in Czech Republic: brand perception research in 2015

The thesis Brand perception research on scouting in Czech Republic in 2015 aims to gather all available information about Czech scout organization Junák - český skaut, about the brand management instruments used by this organization and mostly about the public perception of the brand of this organization for which data from a professionally conducted brand research will be used. The first part defines areas of marketing theory that are relevant for the thesis. The second part is focused on the organization Junák, its ideological foundations, history, organizational structure and membership base. This part also offers a summary of previously conducted researches and their outputs. The third part focuses on a research made for the organization by Ipsos research organization this spring, confronts the acquired data with previous findings and answers chosen research questions. Generalized conclusions can thereafter serve as recommendations for the Junák's future brand management.
Program differences of the summer camps of the selected non-profit organizations

Name of Thesis: Program differences of the summer camps of the selected non-profit organizations. Thesis objectives: The comparison of the program differences of four non-profit organizations was the objective of the research. Method: All data were found out through the questionnaire, which was send by email through the home organization. These data were analyzed and the conclusions were deduced from therm. Results: The research proved that the program differences are very insignificant at these organizations. Each detachment has its specifics and it prepares the camp by its way, but the final orientation and also course of games are very similar. It doesn't matter so many about the organizations, to which the detachments are included, but rather about the detachment itself. The aim of this work is comparation of two organizations working with children and youth and their systems of leader education. It is concerned with the largest organizations of this type in Czech Republic which are "Junák - svaz skautů a skautek ČR" and association "Pionýr". Both of these organizations has a long tradition in extracurricular education in Czech Republic.
Music in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic

Diploma thesis "Music in the Junák - Associacion of Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic" points out the significance of music and musicalness in the activities of Scout organization in the Czech Republic. The thesis exemplifies these activities and maps current situation. The thesis also shows the possibilities of musically-pedagogical focus of activities used in the Scout Movement. In the first chapter, we speak generally about the Scout Movement both in the world and in our country. The chapter contains the topic of founding the Scout Movement by Lord Baden-Powel and also its adoption for Czech people by Antonín Benjamín Svojsík. Then, we describe the organizational structure of contemporary "Junák - svaz skautů a skautek ČR". In the next chapter, we present the music in "Junák". We describe important Scout pieces of music such as the anthem of "Junák", Taps, signal, and the anthem of the International Scout and Guide Fellowship (ISGF). Then, we present some original Scout songs which survived in the movement despite the fact that the Scout movement in the Czech Republic was banned repeatedly in the history. Competences and their development in the new scout educational program

The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.
In the shadow of the Lily. Scouting in Karlovy Vary between 1968 and 1989

The work is focused on the recent regional history of Karlovy Vary. Trying to briefly imitate life of the Scout group between 1968 - 1989. Based on interview made with the narrators it isndescribing the activities that were the Scout section devoted. It charts the parth of an individual from the first contact with Scouting from its acceptance to life itself in the section. This work is also trying to capture the changes that took place within varios sections during the transition from formal to illegality. It Illustrates one of the possible method in which the officiallybanned organization adjusted to the normalization age.
Evaluation of the Finance Situation of the Non-Profit Organization
