Coping strategies of women with breast cancer

The objectives of the thesis "Coping strategies of women with breast cancer" w ere to d etermine t he c oping s trategies u sed b y women w ith b reast cancer, to explore relationship between copmg strategies and sociodemographic variables, between cop ing strategies and the type of therapy, between coping strategies and the life satisfaction, and to compare results with data from other studies. The sample consisted of 62 women diagnosed with breast cancer and treated in two hospitals (Onkologický Ústav Nová Ves pod Pleší, and Nemocnice Beroun) from 1110/2005 to 30/312006. Participants were surveyed by means of a demographic data sheet, the Ways of Coping Questionnaire and the Life Satisfaction Questionnaire. The comparison with other studies indicated that the results are quite similar. The most commonly used coping strategy among women with breast cancer is Seeking sodal support and the least common strategy is Accepting responsibility. Yet, there was one difference: the use of the Escape-Avoidance strategy was higher among our sample patients than among women included in compared studies. Uvedena rigorozni prace podava uceleny nahled na situaci lidskych zdroju ve zdravotnictvi z pohledu managera zdravotnickych zarizeni. Na prikladu malych a strednich nemocnic shrnuje zkusenosti z oblasti rizeni lidskych zdroju ve zdravotnictvi s propojenim na celkovou situaci ve zdravotnictvi v CR a jejimi dopady na konkretni pracoviste a jejich zamestnance. Znalost prostredi, profesni pripravenost, odborna zdatnost, pracovni nasazeni nejsou manazerovi nic platne v pripade, ze neumi sve podrizene pozitivne motivovat k vyssim vykonum a zajistit klidne socialni klima k radnemu chodu organizace. Nejslozitejsi oblasti rizeni firmy je prave prace stirn nejcennejsim, co firma rna, a to jsou lidske zdroje. Shrneme-li problemy celeho sektoru zdravotnictvi a jejich dopady na lidske zdroje, je mozne konstatovat, ze soucasna situace neni prizniva pro zajisteni a udrieni delne atmosfery. Lidske zdroje ve zdravotnictvi jsou casto brany jako rukojmi politiku a oceneni jejich prace neodpovida vyznamu, kterY spolecnost priklada zdravi jako jedne z nejvyznamnejsich hodnot v lidskem zivote. To vse rna dopad na kvalitu a dostupnost pece pro pacienty. Lidske zdroje jsou pak tim prvnim a nejvyznamnejsim nastrojem, jenz celou zdravotni politiku realizuje. Je to povinnost, prace, ale i poslani vetsiny pracovniku ve zdravotnictvi....

Business development strategy of food production

The main theme of the thesis was the processing of the company?s internal and external analysis and compiling a new development strategy based on the strategic analysis. The new strategy focuses mainly on rescuing the company from liquidation and production expansion whilst keeping the continuity of business.With the help of external analysis the development of external environs was ascertained.The inner environment analysis enabled to specify internal sources of a company and their use. A new development strategy plan contains the scenario of the future development of the external environment, a new vision and the company?s mission. New strategic aims were determined.The new development strategy aims at gaining new markets and customers, incorporating new delicatessen into the production portfolio for the customers who prefer healthy lifestyle. Tradition, thorough preparation of delicatessen and a personal approach towards customers are competitive advantage which can hardly be replaced by retail chains.The company finds itself in a difficult financial situation and it is inevitable to incorporate changes which will save it from liquidation.

The theoretical part deals with the description of financial analysis indicators needed for financial soundness assessment, the financial soundness testing process and further it mentions the financial soundness zones definition. The practical part is focused on building company PRAGIS a.s. financial soundness testing in year 2005 -- 2008.

Název: Využití sporttesterů a jejich testovacích funkcí při kondiční přípravě běžné populace v oblasti "pohybu pro zdraví" a "fitness Use of POLAR F - series heart rate monitors and their own features in fitness segment training Cíle práce: Zdůraznit nutnost používání sporttesterů rekreačními sportovci a seznámit s unikátními funkcemi měřičů tepové frekvence Fitness (F) řady firmy POLAR, které napomáhají uživateli kontrolovaně zatěžovat organismus. Metoda: Po studiu odborné literatury jsem shrnul problematiku změn fyziologických funkcí orgamsmu při pohybových zátěžích různé intenzity zatížení, dále pak možnosti technologického vybavení, sloužící ke sledování, testování a vyhodnocování úrovně kondice- sporttestery modelové řady "F" finské firmy Polar. Řadu poznatků jsem čerpal a citoval z velmi dobře zpracovaných webových zdrojů. Pomocí sporttesterů jsem ve vybraných fitcentrech měřil intenzitu zatížení u co největšího počtu rekreačních sportovců a porovnal výsledky s výrobcem uváděnými doporučeními. Dotazníkovou metodou jsem zjišťoval, jaké jsou zkušenosti rekreačních sportovců se cvičením řízenou intenzitou - s používáním sporttesterů. Detergents in the Living Environment

Detergenty jsou čistící nebo mycí prostředky. Jsou to mýdla nebo syntetické detergenty. Jejich účinnou složkou jsou tenzidy. Detergenty jsou chemické látky, jejichž produkce výrazně ovlivňuje kvalitu povrchových vod a tak i životního prostředí. Poměrně dlouho dobu byla otázka detergentů a jejich vlivu na všechny sféry a oblasti životního prostředí v podstatě neřešena. Až v posledních dvaceti letech si lidé uvědomili důležitost této otázky a dostala se do popředí mnoha ekologických jednání na mezinárodní sféře. V zájmu členských států Evropské unie i samotných průmyslových podniků je postupně produkci specifických složek detergentů (zejména fosfátů) omezovat tak, aby se zamezilo jejímu negativnímu působení na životní prostředí. Tyto snahy u nás velice podporuje také společnost CSDPA-České sdružení výrobců mýdla, pracích a čistících prostředků. Výsledkem těchto snah je mimo jiné formulace Zákona č. 258/2000 Sb. O ochraně veřejného zdraví a také Zákona č. 356/2003 Sb. O chemických látkách a chemických přípravcích. Tyto zákony platí od 1. 5. 2004, tedy od data přijetí ČR do EU. Faktory úspěšnosti neziskových organizacích v rámci ČSOP

Cílem je analýza financování neziskové nestátní organizace ZO ČSOP. Druhým cílem bylo přispění do výzkumu, který probíhá na VŠE a je zaměřen na faktory úspěchu neziskových organizací. Vybrala jsem ve Středočeském kraji a v Praze 20 organizací, které jsem osobně navštívila a provedla u nich tento výzkum. Fundraising hraje klíčovou roli ve vývoji a růstu organizace. Přínosem pro organizaci bylo získání grantu od evropského sociálního fondu na doplnění sítě center environmentální výchovy, vzdělávání a osvěty. Dalším úspěšným projektem je grant na síť center pasivních domů. Mezi nejvýraznější schopnosti organizace patří flexibilita, přístup dobrovolníků, kvalitní informační činnost, zaměření se na kvalitu služeb a hlavně na ochranu přírody.Finanční zdraví celého Českého svazu ochránců přírody jsem hodnotila pomocí ukazatelů finanční analýzy.

Regulation of financial markets in international context

This diploma thesis comprises a theoretical, descriptive, comparative and econometric analysis of financial markets regulation in international context. In the first chapter I describe and analyse characteristics of modern financial markets, reasons for their regulation and institutional models of financial regulation and supervision. The second chapter offers an overview of the historical development of financial regulation and evaluates the role of regulatory factor in the outburst of the world financial crisis of 2008. In the third chapter I carry out a comparison of regulatory response to financial crisis in the USA and the EU. Forth chapter deals with regression analysis of the relation between Financial Soundness Indicators of three selected countries. The conclusions driven from this diploma thesis demonstrate that regulation is generally effective as a remedy for market failures, but in other aspects its effects are ambiguous. Intensity of regulation is a secondary impact factor in the formation of financial crises, in fact it is more reasonable to state that crises occur because of the failure of supervision rather than regulation. Due to the international attempts to harmonise the process of remediation of the consequences of the financial crisis, the regulatory response in the USA and the EU was very similar. Statistical analysis did not confirm the common idea that regulation represents a significant barrier for increasing the profitability of credit institutions.

Problematika bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci

Cílem diplomové práce je poukázat na problematiku související s dodržováním bezpečnostních předpisů, se kterou se firmy často potýkají. Rizika poškození života a zdraví lze snižovat jednak zavedením účinného systému řízení BOZP, ale i důsledným vyhledáváním a rozebíráním příčin a následků vzniku pracovních úrazů a nemocí z povolání. V práci je poukázáno na činnost Inspektorátu práce a práci jeho inspektorů, dále shrnutí platné legislativní úpravy BOZP, způsob zavedení BOZP u nově vznikajících organizací a analýza stavu včetně návrhu na odstranění nedostatků u 3 malých organizací rozdílného zaměření.
