Value orientation of adolescents attending low threshold clubs for children and youth in Srakonice and Blatná
LHOTÁKOVÁ, Jana
This master's thesis is focused on the value orientation of the adolescents attendingthe low-threshold club services in Strakonice and Blatná. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the time period of an adolescence and the changes that happen in the life. Then, it further analyses what the values and the value orientationare, how the value orientation is build up, what is its position in a matter of researching and what are the low-threshold services for children and youth. The practical part of the thesis is based on the research which is characterised by quantitative survey that was realized at the low-threshold club for children and youth CROSS in Strakonice and STATION 17 in Blatná. The aim of the realized survey was to find out what is the value orientation of the adolescents attending these both clubs. The ascertained opinions of the adolescents correspond, to some extent, with the theoretical assumptions.

Realization of Teaching of First Aid on the Practical Primary School and Special Primary School in Jindřichův Hradec
EMROVÁ, Monika
The bachelors thesis centers on the first aid education at Practical primary school and Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec. The choice of the topic was based on author?s interest in the field. For years, the author has been volunteering for Regional Association of the Czech Red Cross and also teaches lay first aid. Every person should have a command of how to provide first aid; it counts among elementary education. The issues of health science and first aid have already become part of the Framework Education Programme for primary education - an addendum that regulates the education of pupils with mild mental disabilities; and also of the Framework Education Programme for pupil education at Special primary school. To accomplish the research objectives, the author chose the strategy of qualitative research. To accomplish the research objectives, the author used the technique of semi-structured interview, observation, and content data analysis. The research sample comprised of the pupils and teachers from the Practical primary school and Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec. The first objective was set to identify the form and range of first aid education at the Practical primary school and Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec. The research has shown that the Practical primary school and Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec pay attention to first aid education and they consider it to be an important part of the Framework Education Programme. It was observed that the first aid education appears to be part of a number of educational areas and that the pupils with special educational needs are familiarized with the first aid basics through practical training. The second objective was to elaborate a method "How to teach first aid" at the Practical primary school and Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec. The third objective was to implement the method in the curriculum of the Practical primary school and Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec and verify its functionality. Given the group of pupils with special educational needs, it is believed that the draft of the method of "How to teach first aid" was appropriate and it met the condition of functionality. Based on these outcomes of the qualitative research, two hypotheses were defined. The first hypothesis is as follows: The pupils of the Practical primary school in Jindřichův Hradec are able to complete a training of how to provide first aid in case of minor injuries but also in case of life-threatening states. The second hypothesis is as follows: The degree of mental retardation, or nature of motor disability in pupils of the Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec has a negative impact on the ability to practically carry out the first aid. The outcomes of the bachelors thesis may be utilized by the teachers in first aid training at the Practical primary school and Special primary school in Jindřichův Hradec.

Zunová, Hana ; Skýbová, Jana (advisor) ; Pavlasová, Lenka (referee)
This thesis called The issue of inclusion of organic agriculture and food industry in the teaching of natural science and biology at primary and secondary schools deals with organic farming, its present situation and current legislation in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The theme of organic farming and organic food is conceived in a broader context and it is followed by other related topics, such as food additives, transgenic organisms (GMOs) and Fair Trade. The primary objective is to provide to biology teachers in primary and secondary schools guidance on how to present this issue to their pupils and students. Based on the results of a questionnaire survey two hypotheses were verified: 1. Students know what the organic food is and can enumerate the basic tenets of organic farming. 2. Teachers of natural science and biology at the primary and secondary schools do not include organic farming issues in their lessons. Both hypotheses háve been refuted. Objectives of this thesis are: 1) To identify options of including the topič of organic farming in the teaching of biology and cross subjects, in accordance with Educational Programmes for elementary and secondary schools. 2) To create educational materials about organic farming (Microsoft PowerPoint presentation for teachers; to create or modify...

The Journuy Toward Freedom. Inspiration by Saint John of the Cross.
Žáková, Lenka ; Milfait, René (advisor) ; Klaus, David (referee)
The Bachelor thesis with the title The journey toward freedom: Inspired by Saint John of the Cross sets oneself a goal to inform readers about spirituality and teaching of Saint John of the Cross. It tries to interdigitate two the most famous writings of Saint John of the Cross - it is the book The Ascent of the Mount Carmel and the book The Dark Night - with the Bible. The topic of the freedom is the main topic of the Bachelor thesis, especially the process of liberation the man from something and toward something. In the first part of the Bachelor thesis the reader gets to know the basic informations about life of Saint John of the Cross; about roots of Saint John ́s teaching; what is the foundation of the man and at the same time what is the aim of the one' s life and for which he is calling. Next what is the cause for necesarry free oneself. In the next chapters the reader learns about the important symbols, counsels and rules of Saint John' s teaching and toward which he is inviting the man with his teaching. The second part of the Bachelor thesis deals in detail with individual parts of the process of liberation leads through the "dark night" all the way to the "transcendental union" the soul with the God, ergo to the "absolute freedom". Nodální regiony v Evropě vymezené na základě letecké dopravy
ROZKOŠNÝ, Filip
This master´s thesis deals with the delineating of nodal regions via civil aviation data in the territory of central European states. This kind of transport has become a very popular type of spatial mobility after its deregulation and liberalization particularly thanks to its speed, cheaper fares and relative safety. Thanks to this spatial mobility of inhabitants, it is possible to delineate borders of regions according to real movements. Supposing usage of aviation data to delineate nodal regions, the airports represent their nodes. The purpose of this master´s thesis was delineating nodal regions via civil transport data in an interesting territory of Central Europe. Its western and eastern part has undergone different historical and political development which has had consequences on the aviation development level. Research input data included number of flights between central European airports for the period of 1 day. The master´s thesis is structured into 5 chapters. The first parts are: introduction and goals, theoretical part and methodology. The analytical part evaluates the whole nodal-region-delineating process and also nodal regions final hierarchical structure. Each partial part of research was depicted into a map and was also expressed by population and area. There are answers on the input hypothesis in the final part of this paper.

Children's experience of transition from elementary to practical school
Voldřich, Michal ; Pavlas Martanová, Veronika (advisor) ; Purková, Veronika (referee)
This Bachelor thesis deals with transison of pupils from elemntary to practical school for pupils with special needs. The text is divided into two parts - the theoretical one and the practical one. In the first part are presented theoretical works focus on education and psychology of children with mild mental handicap. The second part is devoted to research which has been conducted at one of the practical primary schools. Materials were obtained due (thanks) to semistructured interviews with five boys and were afterwards analysed with the methods of Grounded theory. This research indicates how the boys perceive their study path before and after crossing to practical primary school and what did this crossing mean to them. Main attention is paid on relationship issues with classmates, teachers and learning.

The Effect of Parenthood on Wages in the Czech Republic
Žofková, Martina ; Stroukal, Dominik (advisor) ; Tříska, Dušan (referee)
Using cross-sectional and longitudinal data from EU-SILC for the Czech Republic this thesis shows that mothers suffer wage penalty, whereas fathers gain wage premium. These results are in accordance with literature abroad. This thesis also shows that parenthood has greater impact on individuals with higher education, that motherhood penalty is lower for single mothers, whereas fatherhood premium is higher for single fathers, and that there is stronger self-selection of mothers into specific jobs than in case of fathers. Model of fixed effects suggests that parenthood is connected with unobservable characteristics that have positive effect on parent's wages. Results of this thesis are in accordance with human capital theory, division of labor within the household, self-selection of mothers into more mother-friendly jobs. But results concerning lower work effort of mothers are inconclusive.

To become a member of a first class. The childˇs adaptation to rules valid in the first class
Dítě si začíná osvojovat normy nového sociálního prostředí, charakterizovaného odlišným rytmem a strukturou činností a odlišnými způsoby interakcí.

Redox DNA Labeling - from Simple DNA Detection by Osmium Tetroxide Complexes Modification to Ratiometric Sequence Analysis
Havran, Luděk ; Balintová, Jana ; Vidláková, Pavlína ; Macíčková-Cahová, Hana ; Pivoňková, Hana ; Hocek, Michal ; Fojta, Miroslav
DNA is electroactive molecule producing analytically useful intrinsic voltammetric signals. For some applications is a useful use redox active tag to improve specificity of the analysis. One from approaches how to prepare DNA bearing redox label is its modification by complexes of osmium tetroxide with nitrogen ligands. This method find wide used in highly sensitive DNA detection and in development of electrochemical DNA hybridization sensors. Another possibility for preparation of redox labeled DNA is incorporation of redox tags modified deoxynucleotide triphosphates by DNA polymerases. In this contribution will be demonstrated application of various redox labels in electrochemical analysis of DNA.

Computational model of continuous speech segmentation process in Czech language
Stehlík, Luděk ; Smolík, Filip (referee) ; Bahbouh, Radvan (referee)
The work discusses questions about the nature of the human mind, the process of language acquisition and the cognitive development in general and presents results of computational modelling of one of the seminal developmentally-psycholinguistic phenomena - segmentation of continuous speech flow on the basis of phonotactic and prosodic cues. In the general part of the work there is at first briefly introduced the philosophical topic of mind-body problem and then there is described intellectual, historical and cognitivelyanthropological background of the computational-representational paradigm which is in the contemporary cognitive science the most prevailing view of the human mind treating the mental life as a kind of computation in the sense of manipulation and transformation of syntactic structures. There are in detail introduced two competing interpretations of this statement in the form of physical symbol system hypothesis and connectionism which differ primarily about the opinion on how far from the level of ordinary thought and concepts we should look for the formal rules specifying mental computation. There are also mentioned two alternative theories in the form of dynamic (or embodied) cognitive science and theory of distributed cognition according to which the nature of intelligence doesn't lie...
