Parameters of FTTx networks - Quality of services
Winkler, Aleš ; Reichert, Pavel (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
The main subject of this diploma thesis is to make a proposal to improve the optical access network for the transmission of Triple play services. I would here to the reader clarify method of proposal of optical network. There are described the kinds of optical access networks with parameters, for which we must look by their construction. There are described the modern methods of construction optical network too. In the theoretical part are discussed used architecture of networks too. I met here known standards, which I compared for big importance by their choice. A reason of construction of optical network are services known like Triple play. These services together with their problems and parameters are here discussed too. At the end of theoretical part I listed here measuring method for getting negative attribute distorting the led signal. In practical part the locality witch use the optical signal as the source of information is ordered. These network use unfit connections and has less possibilities than usual and this is the reason, why is the network not able to supply Triple play in requested quality. At first the analysis of ordered network was needed. Situation was complicated by the fact, that it has been prohibited entrance to me. The structure of network and network parts was known and documented by me. I made the proposals to improve this network in practical part. By the first proposal remained original kind of access network FTTB, but used new parts with higher performance. By the second proposal I made the network FTTH, by which it was possible to use the last haul optical cables with treatment and using new elements. It was needed to create solution by flat units. The resulting proposals are here evaluated, compared and cost evaluated. For rejection of access to optical network I did not make measuring, so I made simulation for variant FTTH for getting some parameters negative acting transmission.

Comparison of chossen preparat on feed ration consumtion and its transfer to broilers meat
ŠÁCHA, Martin
Effects of application of Bioalginate series preparations (hydrolysis products from Ascophyllum nodosum kelp) to monitored parameters of chick broilers and their meet was experimentally verified. The preparation testing is carried out in two stages. The Biopolym Granulát preparation was tested in the first stage. The preparation was applied by mixing into granulated feeding mixture during its production process. Final results of this stage did not show positive effects of the preparation in question by this form of application. The second testing stage focused to testing of the Biopolym FZT preparation supplied to animals by charging into feeding water. This form of application revealed positive effect of the preparation to decrease of the ammoniac content in the stable atmosphere and positive impact to the health condition of stabled animals. Lower contend of nitrogenous substances on original meat dry mass has been statistically documented. Higher content of nitrogenous-free extractive substances in original meat dry mass has been evidenced.

Analysis of work equipment that are suitable for recycling of construction materials and waste.
HOŠEK, Lukáš
The aim of my thesis is to give an overview and analysis of appropriate facilities for recycling construction materials and waste products. I deal with the generation of construction waste resulting from demolition procedures and examine the classification of the demolition waste and its subsequent usage in recycling materials processes. The work further addresses the usage of relevant earth-moving machinery in this sector, including relevant adapters for demolition works. The thesis also contains an overview of crushing units with selected technical parameters including theoretical performance. The main criterion for the distribution of mobile crushing units is the size of the inlet. The results of measuring cycles and data for the calculation of the efficiency of crushers at particular work in the processing of construction debris are also given. The actual performance values are compared with the theoretical ones. In all cases, the actual performance is lower than the theoretical one.

Economic Analysis of Judicial Activity
Zabranská, Monika ; Kühn, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Munzi, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis deals with the problem of the monopoly structure of the modern justice system and the heavy regulation of most fields of dispute resolution. In this system, judges themselves comprise a self-interested group seeking relaxed regulation and increased rights from the government. The thesis describes inefficiencies and dangers stemming from the lack of market control of the modern justice system and suggests an alternative in the form of a private justice system. The purpose of this paper is to examine both the problem of successful implementation of competition into the current justice system, while describing various models as to how the private justice system could function without state control, with examples from history. This paper further examines the economic differences between private and public justice systems in terms of incentives, efficiency, the process of law creation, speed, and consumers' satisfaction, as well as the conditions under which different systems work best. The main conclusion of this paper is that society should allow all subjects desirous of opportunities to provide goods and services through new enterprises, even in areas currently the exclusive domain of the state, as doing so brings an increase in quality, speed of solution/service, and innovation.

At present, depressive disorders affect a considerable proportion of population, their incidence showing an increasing tendency in the developed world. Depression mostly afflicts people in the age of 25-35. It occurs in females twice as often as in males. Depression involves an intense subjective suffering accompanied with a disruption of normal everyday functioning. Moreover, when compared with the healthy population, there exists a thirty times higher danger of suicide in the people affected with depression. The illness unfortunately tends to become chronic, the probability of recurrence of an episode being 50%. Furthermore, some patients suffering from the depressive disorder do not adequately respond to an antidepressant therapy; we call such patients treatment-resistant. There certainly exists a close relation between the endocrine and the central nervous system, most endocrine disorders being potentially accompanied with changes of psyche and vice versa. With affective disorders the most frequently reported disruption involves an interference with the function of the hypothalamicpituitary- adrenocortical (HPA) axis, though various studies repeatedly acknowledged also deviations of the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis. The most frequent findings comprise an altered serum thyrotropin response...

Technique Variability of the Triple Jump
Pařík, Ondřej ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Krátký, Petr (referee)
Summary. Pařík Ondřej Technique Variability of the Triple Jump My thesis deal with the problems of biomechanics of the triple jump. Few years ago the triple jump was very successful event in our country. The czech record in triple jump is 17, 53 m since 1988 held by Milan Mikuláš. The only other jumper who beated the 17 metres mark was Jiří Kuntoš in 1999 with the result 17, 29 m. I made an exploration of the studies dealing with the different aspects of the biomechanics of the triple jump in the theoretic part. I tried to suggest the integral view of these studies. I made an analysis of the 8 attempts of the current czech triple jumpers. I compared the biomechanical aspects of the successful and unsuccessful attempts of each jumper. I analysed the video recording of the Czech indoor championship 2005 using the program APAS. I compared these biomechanical parametres: Time of support, performance in the triple jump (official and actual), phase distance, phase ratios, horizontal velocity of the touchdown and takeoff, lost of horizontal velocity, vertical velocity of touchdown and takeoff, touchdown velocity of CG, takeoff velocity of CG, height of CG in touchdown, amortization and takeoff, time of flights I found out that the main deficit of the czech jumpers is in speed abilities and better effort...

Application of Artificial Neural Networks in Computational Linguistics
Němec, Petr
Neural networks represent a promising approach to problems, which exact algorithmic solution is unknown or not efficient enough. Morphological tagging is one of such tasks in the area of computational linguistics. We have tried to use a backpropagation neural network in several types of experiments. When determining the correct tag on the basis of reliable context, we have learned that the neural tag is basically capable to handle the problem, although the achieved tagging precision (89,22%) did not reach that of statistical methods (93,47%). We also managed to determine appropriate network and context parameters that we have used in the next experiments. The attempt to determine the correct tag on the basis of beforehand statistically determined tags brought a slight decrease of tagging precision (88,71%). Finally, the experiment, which goal was to vote from the outputs of two statistical taggers, showed higher tagging precision (93,56%) than any of these methods (92,74%, 92,58%). It is therefore the overall best result on the given training data set (Prague Dependency Treebank). Hence, it is recommended to test the method by training it on a larger training set (Czech Corpus).

RF Power Amplifiers
Hrazděra, Tomáš ; Hubík,, Vladimír (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with high-frequency power amplifiers. In the theoretical part are briefly summarized the general characteristics and properties of particular working classes of amplifiers focusing on their efficiency. The next section is aimed on design of high-frequency power amplifier for 1296MHz band and its individual components. In this part is desribed design of hybrid combiners - splitters, directional couplers of the coupled lines, amplifiers with RA18H1213G module and power amplifier with transistor BLV958. The work also includes the results of simulations of designed circuit, realization procedure and the measured parameters of manufactured components. In conclusion of this work the theoretical and measured values are compared.

Evaluation and autoevaluation of secondary school
Dostál, Filip ; Koťa, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Chvál, Martin (referee)
The diploma work deals with the introduction of grammar schools auto-evaluation process together with the curriculum reform in progress. Analysis of school legislation in force and of binding curriculum documents led to the conclusion that schools autoevaluation is the main and almost the sole mechanism of control and quality and efficiency improvement of grammar school education. This fact contrasts markedly with the marginal position of auto-evaluation in the legislation in force and curriculum documents. Some theoretical basis for grammar schools auto-evaluation were defined and critically reviewed through compilation of literature; they were interpreted in the light of post-modern, positivist and pragmatist philosophical concepts; constituent review was based on neo-tomist positions. The focus of the work lies in analysis of auto-evaluation phases recommended in literature. What is new is a concept of "pre-evaluation" phase which assumes a metaevaluation character although preceding the evaluation itself. A two-phase questionnaire survey was devised and applied at the curriculum reform pilot grammar school for this phase. Finally, three tools for auto-evaluation of study results of grammar school students were devised - evaluation of facultative subjects, a statistical analysis of grammar school...

Motivation as a tool of performance management
Janáček, Petr ; Kříž, Josef (advisor) ; Hana, Hana (referee)
Motivation as a tool for performance management is the topic of this thesis. At the beginning of the thesis is discussed theoretical part. This section covers the basic idea of motivation and its impact on human resources management and thus staff. On the basis of professional materials studied are set out the main motivational theories that affect the behavior and performance of employees. Following by a survey contained in the practical part. The questionnaire was developed based on motivation theories and their mentioned factors influencing the performance of employees. The questionnaire addressed communication, relationships, motivation and work process. Included are basic elements of the motives and demotivation, covering aspects of employee satisfaction on various factors at work. Survey results should thus serve as a way to improve the incentive system of the organization and provision of the draft resolution. Thus, the proposed solutions should ideally lead to more efficient performance of the work in the organization.
