The evaluation of selected elementary school students' physical fitness by using UNIFITTEST
Vélová, Adéla ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
The title of the bachelor thesis: The evaluation of selected elementary school students' physical fitness by using UNIFITTEST Prepared by: Bc. Adéla Vélová Thesis supervisor: PhDr. Ales Kaplan, Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis was to find out the current level of the fitness of the 5th graders at selected primary schools in the district of Jablonec nad Nisou, which do not focus on sports. These were pupils who fall into the age category of 10 and 11 years. I processed the ascertained results. Subsequently, I made a comparison between the individual primary schools to find out which of the tested schools achieved better results. Methodology: The main method of the research was the practical testing of students by using a test battery UNIFITTEST (6-60), from which I applied four motor tests (two-footed jump, sit- ups repeatedly for 60 seconds, shuttle run 4x10 m and the Cooper's test - 12 minutes run). I compared all the measured data with the relevant UNIFITTEST standards for the given age category (10-11 years). Another part of my diploma thesis was a short anonymous questionnaire designed for physical education teachers, refering to the finding out opinions of physical education of the 5th graders. Results: The results for the boys and the girls were very balanced. Both sexes across...
Development of the phonological and morphological abilities of children before the school age
DĚDOVÁ, Aneta
This bachelor thesis is concerned with the development of the phonological and morphological abilities of children before the school age. Individual areas of perceptual-motoric function, cognitive function, phonological and morphological abilities, speech and dyslexia are described in the theoretical part of this thesis. A qualitative type of research was done for this thesis. Eight five-year-old children and two six-year-old children were tested by the test battery. These children attend the ordinary kindergarten. The test battery contains several tests (exams) for testing the level of visual perception, hearing perception, knowledge, level of logical thinking and spatial ideas, memory, morphological abilities and articulation abilities. The research showed problematic areas of children from the test battery. Progresses for development of these problematic areas in the ordinary kindergarten are mentioned in this bachelor thesis.
Comparison of Physical Skills of Pupils in General and Sports Classes of Elementary School
Zaplatílková, Lucie ; Mahrová, Andrea (advisor) ; Krištofič, Jaroslav (referee)
Title: Comparison of Physical Skills of Pupils in General and Sports Classes of Elementary School Goals: The aim of this research is to determine the level of physical fitness skills of pupils, who, attend a sport class and compare these results to the pupils of the same age general class in the same school. Methods: The measurement was carried out through the test UNIFITTEST (6-60), which consists of the following tests - long jump, sit-up, chin-up and the Cooper Test. The results were evaluated and compared using the statistical characteristics. Results: With the help of these tests we found out the average level of fitness skills in every category. In long jump boys from the examined sport class managed to get 14, 6 % better results than those from the general class. Regarding girls, those from the sport class did also better, particularly 8, 5 %. The same tendency is to be found in sit-ups. The sport class children showed better performance, boys were 5, 9 % and girls 3, 3 % better than their schoolmates from general classes. The biggest gap in performance was measured in pull-ups. In average 20, 4 % better results for boys from the sport class. But girls from the general class this time beat the ones with a sport-focused programme by 21 %. Last thing we tested was endurance running where the...
Testing of a movement activity quality of Mělník female students
Kalkantová, Michaela ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Fialová, Ludmila (referee)
Title: Testing of a movement activity quality of Mělník female students. Objectives: The aim of the work is to evaluate the movement mode and the movement activity quality of adolescent girls and in addition we will evaluate their body composition with the help of BMI and caliperation method. Methods: We have worked out the thesis on the base of studying literary sources. 32 adolescent girls aged from 17 to 18 years studying the Secondary Grammar school of Jan Palach made up the examined file, their average body height was 170, 2 ± 6 cm, body weight 63,3 ± 8,8 kilograms. The body composition was assessed with the help of BMI and caliperation method. Then we measured the amount of walked footsteps a day with the help of Omron pedometer and on the base of found out results we evaluated the movement mode of female students. Finally we evaluated each student's movement activity quality with the help of test set Unifittest 6-60. All the measuring and testing took place in standardized conditions with minimization of external impacts to provide the objectivity of measuring. Results: It has been clear from the results of somatic measuring of body heights and weights that in comparison with the average of girls of the same age in the Czech Republic our examined file is 2,7 cm taller and 4,8 kg heavier in...

Kuřítko, Jaroslav ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Arnošt, Pavel (referee)
Title of work: The condition development by Czech Ice Hockey Association performance tests in years 2014 and 2015 and the possibilities of its evaluation. Aim of work: The aim of this master's thesis is to research the development of fitness abilities in junior category and the possibilities of its evaluation. The main aim is to evaluate the results of tests from Czech ice hockey association database for preliminary period 2014 and 2015, and find out frequency of achieved performance, moreover compare it with indicative point value in model tests report. Thereafter, suggest oral evaluation for individual fitness tests. Method: Results were statistically processed in MS Office Excel and transcribed into charts. I set ten intervals for which I found out data. I always compound two intervals for the evaluation, therefore was created five point scale. I calculated the absolute frequency and relatively absolute frequency of given intervals. Cumulative values were calculated for both of them. I used oral evaluation, which was divided into five values. I orally evaluate what kind of prerequisites the player has for ice hockey according to the points which were gained in individual tests. For differences between seasons was done Cohen's d. .Results: I did not find out any statistic differences in results...
Verification of test battery of motoric assumptions for tennis
Křelina, Vladimír ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vorálek, Rostislav (referee)
This thesis focuses on testing the motoric assumptions of junior category tennis players in certain sport games. The aim of this thesis is to compare the results of the motoric test regarding to three tennis players of various performance levels in chosen sport games. Thus define the substantive significance and specificity of each test towards tennis. The assumptions in the theoretical part are based on my Bachelor thesis. In said thesis I am dealing with the characteristics of tennis, the structure of sport performance, the factors which determine the sport efficiency in tennis and most importantly on physical condition. The theoretical part is also widened by newly acquired knowledge. In the result part, based on the comparison of the three tennis players of different performance levels, the substantive significance of the test in tennis was stated. Subsequently we present the results of our test subjects in selected sport games. Using the comparative analysis the differences of motoric assumptions in various sport games are stated. In conclusion the specificity of each test for tennis is evaluated. We confirmed the substantive significance for all the test besides the standing long jump test. The specificity was confirmed for hexagon, spider and the test of endurance suited for tennis. The...
