Activity of methodists of prevention at selected secondary schools

This bachelor thesis deals with the theme Activities of prevention methodologists at selected secondary schools. The aim of this work is to compare the Preventive Programs of selected secondary schools, what is the emphasis of the school in the area of primary prevention and what are the ways to meet the points of the Preventive Program. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts in the area of primary prevention of risk behavior of youth. It points to the system of prevention in the education system in the Czech Republic and briefly defines all areas of risky behavior of children and youth with which the school prevention methodologist works. The main attention is focused on the position of school methodists of prevention, describes its position in education and its position in the legislative framework in the work area. It also defines the scope of its activities, divides specific types of activities and their specifics. It defines a document of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports Preventive Program deals with specific types and forms of prevention programs / activities at secondary schools and out-of-school preventive programs / activities. Prevention of hazardous behaviour

The M.A. thesis "The Prevention of hazardous Behaviour" researches the cooperation and interconnectedness of three professional groups and conducts a describes their experience and opinions in the field of child and youth risk-behaviour. The three (target) respondent groups are: primary school prevention methodists, OSPOD social workers and a group of professional lecturers of primary prevention of risk behaviour. The theoretical part introduces definitions and theoretical concepts of hazardous behaviour and types methods of their prevention. In its conclusion, the theoretical part summarizes of selected primary laws. The practical part of the thesis presents a summary and an analysis of data gathered through a survey among the respondent groups.

Drug prevention at secondary school

The bachelor thesis deals with drugs, their types and drug prevention. It includes the research conducted at several high schools. The aim of the research was to map drug abuse and sound out pupils' opinion on prevention programmes, which are carried out in schools. The work also embraces the interview with methodologist of socially pathological behaviour, which enabled insight into the problem from the expert's point of view.

School counselling centre and its role at the first and second grade of the elementary shool

v anglickém jazyce: The Bachelor thesis is dealing with the functioning of the school counselling centre on the first and second grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part consists of themes as the development of school counselling centres, their aims and the description of the whole counselling system. There is also a description of the work of the particular specialists representing this centre. I search for and examine the pupils' satisfaction or dissatisfaction at school and their problems concerning school and family environment in the empiric part. I focus on the children being able or willing to deal with their problems with these specialists. The question is also if the pupils have sufficient information and knowledge to whom they can turn with their troubles.

Pupils Opinions about Selected Area of Risky Behaviour at Secondary Vocational Schools

The aim of the thesis "Pupils opinions about selected area of risky behaviour at secondary vocational schools" is to ascertain the views of pupils at secondary vocational schools tobacco use and the deficiencies found propose appropriate changes in the primary prevention program.
The theoretical part was prepared on the basis of the findings from available literature, mainly targeting high-risk behavior - namely smoking, addiction and prevention. The practical part was prepared on the basis of outputs of quantitative and qualitative investigation. The quantitative survey was carried out through a questionnaire surfy. Qualitative survey used interviews with prevention methodology to three selected secondary vocational schools.
Based on these findings it was recommended active involvement of pupils in prevention activities in education, raise awareness about the harmful effects of smoking and urge compliance with the ban on smoking in the school building and its immediate vicinity.
