Vlk, Martin ; Buzek, Mario (advisor) ; Tůma, Martin (referee)
Title: Coaching of the football Objectives: The main goal of this thesis was to explore how players perceive their coach during the length of a season, and his/her strengths and weaknesses. Another objective was to compare the results of male and female squads in the selected areas. Because the players' individual preferences and expectations can vary, the study aims to compare differences between players who evaluated their season as successful, and players who did not have a successful season. At the end the results were fed back to the players to evaluate whether the CBAS system can be used as a form of feedback, and whether the coach can use this tool to work collectively with the team, as well with individuals according to their specific needs. Methods: A structured questionnaire was used as the research method as well as individual interviews with players during their season. The main part of this research, identifying 12 assessing categories of a coach, was obtained by using a structured questionnaire. Interviews with individual players were conducted to clarify opinions of these players towards the evaluated coach. Results: After the interpretation of the results it was found that the differences between male and female players are apparent in area General encouragement. More evident...

Convolutional neural networks and their application in object detection
Hrinčár, Matej ; Mrázová, Iveta (advisor) ; Pešková, Klára (referee)
1 Title: Convolutional neural networks and their application in object detection Author: Matej Hrinčár Department: Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Iveta Mrázová, CSc. Supervisor's e-mail address: Iveta.Mrazova@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Nowadays, it has become popular to enhance live sport streams with an augmented reality like adding various statistics over the hockey players. To do so, players must be automatically detected first. This thesis deals with such a challenging task. Our aim is to deliver not only a sufficient accuracy but also a speed because we should be able to make the detection in real time. We use one of the newer model of neural network which is a convolutional network. This model is suitable for proces- sing image data a can use input image without any preprocessing whatsoever. After our detailed analysis we choose this model as a detector for hockey players. We have tested several different architectures of the networks which we then compared and choose the one which is not only accurate but also fast enough. We have also tested the robustness of the network with noisy patterns. Finally we assigned detected pla- yers to their corresponding teams utilizing K-mean algorithm using the information about their jersey color. Keywords:...
Visual experince as example and pattern in relation to the expansion and influence into human life
Nohejl, Jiří ; Wittlich, Filip (referee)
The main theme of this dissertation is to define an image as a visual experience. The human interaction is described by the author himself as a perception of the image, which serves as an information unit that could be presented as a possibility, example and pattern for the individual. There is an emphasis on the process of perception itself and on the way of interaction of an individual emphasizing the context of social learning and imitation in this text. The analysis of the principles of this interaction leading into introduction of the partial interactive models covering these processes is formed by the essential plane. The structure of the thesis is divided into ten main chapters in which the author tries to introduce a category of perception, a definition of the image and imitation as a tool of cultural transmission, presentation of the units of this transmission, the process of the interaction itself and analogous example of the fundamental role that a person in this interaction holds. There are also three analogies of these roles, which refer to the anthropological universal interaction describing the man as a gatherer and hunter. Their main purpose is to illustrate the form of a human experience better. Finally, there are reflections on the topic above. The possibilities and results, which...
