Mobile technology as a tool for management and teaching in elementary and secondary education

The primary aim of the thesis concerning mobile technology as a tool for management and teaching at school is to describe the current status of ICT at school from two perspectives: From the management perspective as well as from the perspective of school education. Further, to look through the state policy in education, Annual report of the Czech School Inspectorate statistics CSO and professional literature in this area at the current state of technology introduction at present-day schools. To capture the view of Experts on the new trends that penetrate to us from abroad. To gather by means of quantitative research of the randomly selected sample of respondents what are the possibilities and benefits of technology and knowledge of new trends in our conditions (BYOT). To verify by means of research how this issue is perceived and accepted by current teachers and leaders at schools in the Prague region and in several other regions of the Czech Republic. The conclusion tries to summarize and on the basis of the research results to show needs, opportunities and benefits of mobile technology for the school and its clients. M-commerce as a new purchasing phenomenon

(in English): Thesis deals with the phenomenon of m-commerce. History section briefly describes the evolution and significant moments for further development of this segment and its subsequent adaptation. It also discusses the types of transactions that are carried out through mobile devices and also about technologies that allow for a gradual transformation of these devices into multifunctional objects. The fourth chapter deals with the evaluation of practical research, which was carried out by me. The research was focused on the typology of purchases that are realized by Czech users through their mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) in relation to mobile smartphone platform, which they own.

The diploma thesis Medium in the process of change: photography from smartphones and other mobile devices in the context of professional photojournalism analyzes the use of smartphones and smartphone photography in current professional photojournalism. In the first part of the thesis, the main focus is mainly on theory. It describes the pictorial turn, current trend in vizualizing information and the retreat from text n behalf of visual information. The second part is devoted to the description of the historical approaches to photography and the ganges of the photography from analog to digital to smartphone photography. The third part of the thesis focuses on description of smartphones and tablets and it also focuses on the description on smartphone and tablet applications for editing and sparing of pictures. The fourth part analyzes the use of smartphones and smartphone photography in media by media professionals. It focuses on the use of smartphone photography by war photographers and by other professional photographers in distant countries, natural disasters or at sporting events. The last part is devoted to detailed interviews with professional photojournalists Tomáš Tesař and Milan Jaroš who have professional experiences with smartphone photography.
Technology of GIS in mobile equipment

The aim of this work is to provide an overview of modern geoinformation systems operating on mobile technology platform. Selected technologies were evaluated by the students of elementary and secondary schools developed using test materials. In the introductory part of the paper briefly describes the current available technology smart phones and tablets focusing comparison platform iOS and Android. The second part of presents an overview of available geo-information software with a focus on free downloadable programs. The third part presents a critical evaluation of the functional parameters of the software. The following are the positive and negative aspects of the applications evaluated and compared to the available free downloadable programs with paid programs. The last part focuses on the possibility of integrating geo-information systems on the platform of smartphones and tablets in teaching primary and secondary schools. Their use in teaching could change students' view of current spatial information systems and could increase their popularity and practical use. Changes in online content conspumtion by the type of device

This thesis deals with the changes in the pattern of Internet content consumption caused by the new types of device, such as smart phones and tablets. In the second Chapter following the introduction, these devices are introduced, as well as their users. The third and crucial chapter first discusses how changed the activities that we have performed on a PC or laptop. The next section presents a completely new activities that occurred up with smart phones such as geolocation games and mobile tagging. The fourth chapter focuses on the mobile internet in the Czech Republic. Part of this charter is a private research / comparison of 100 most visited websites, when the endpoint was to determine how the authors of these sites are prepared for mobile visitors. Measuring of pulse rate using smartphone

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibility to measure heart rate using a smartphone. Today, many people own a smartphone. Newer devices can record various data thanks to its sensors and additional equipment. The current trend is to use the data so that the mobile phone can replace other devices, e.g. navigation, camera, camcorder or multimedia player. Recently, mobile phones have also been used in the field of medicine and, thanks to their mass extension, there is the potential to use them to detect health problems early on. With a functional mobile application, testing becomes cheap, fast, always available and easy to the general public. The beginning of the thesis describes the basic facts about physiology and anatomy of the heart, and circulatory system. Methods of heart rate monitoring using standard devices and smartphones, and measurement history are discussed as well. Two proposed methods using the smartphone's microphone and accelerometer are described below. For each method, testing and statistical evaluation are described. The thesis confirmed the possibility of using these methods for relatively accurate pulse rate measurement, even under different measuring conditions. Created applications with graphical user interfaces are described in the thesis including examples. The last part contains a comparison of methods, recommendations for measurement and final evaluation.

Nejvíce se zabývá používáním internetu, vlivu smartphonů na různé oblasti lidského života, používání internetového portálu YouTube, vlivem YouTuberů na společnost a popsáním pojmů streamer, streamování. Práce popisuje jak pozitivní vlivy těchto technologií na společnost, tak negativní vlivy, které přináší.
Development of Application for Electronic Records of Sales

This diploma thesis is focused on the design and development of applications for mobile devices with Android operating system. The main purpose of this application is to fulfil the requirements of law on the Electronic Records of Sales. The thesis describes the theoretical knowledge which is important in the development of the application and describes the design and the whole implementation of the application. The application is implemented in the Java programming language. The thesis also deals with the description of the problem of electronic records of sales and the analysis of the EET product range.
Design of Home Computer Network

This thesis describes the design of a home computer network. The first part deals with the study of local computer networks and their history. This part concerns network types and topologies and the reference models OSI and TCP/IP. Types of active and passive network hardware components are mentioned, as well as networking software and individual network standards for network communication. Furthermore, the thesis also discusses some possibilities of effective security of computer network. The second part deals with creating the design of home computer network. The network must meet the client s requirements. The description of space, for which is the network created, forms a part of design. There is also the list of required hardware for network implementation and hardware that will be connected to the network. As the main part of this work, the schema of the cable placement and the placement of other active network components is designed. The work also describes appropriate security of this home computer network using setting of the routers and the network storage connection.
Mobile Phone Through the Prism of Sociology

The theoretical part of this thesis intends to familiarize the reader with review of the results of recent studies of how a mobile phone affects individuals, communication and society as a whole. Space is given to the issue of behavioural differences between men and women in relation to mobile phones. The last section shows how big is the attention given to a mobile phone in the field of marketing research. In the research part, the author uses methods typical rather to marketing research, an eye tracking, RTA and interviews to do the research whose goal was to describe the process of selection when buying a mobile phone via e- shop and to point out the possible differences between men and women. Measuring eye attention of 50 participants in the age of 18 - 29 years (25 men, 25 women) showed that eye behaviour of men and women when choosing a mobile phone differed significantly, particularly at the time that respondents gave to particular information areas. The interviews resulted in further differences such as differences in the importance of different criteria for both genders or unequal level of independence in selecting the phone.
