The influence of advertising on children
Kubíková, Edita ; Horová, Olga (advisor) ; Malecká, Eva (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on advertising and specifically on its impact on children. The theoretical part discusses terms such as marketing, marketing mix and advertising. It also analyses types of advertisement, media and advertising history before moving on to define and distinguish the impacts of advertising on different age groups. The practical part presents its own survey which analyses the attitude of parents to advertising and the influence of advertising on their children. This survey is compared to an interview with an expert who deals with the issue. Subsequently, it analyses and evaluates the interview with the Brand manager of Mondelez, which provides a view of the issue from the side of the company. Finally, the practical part analyses interviews with children of different ages and examines their attitude to advertising. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate whether advertising has positive, neutral or negative effect and alternatively propose appropriate solutions to resist these influences. The important part is to show how multinational corporations, which produce and sell products for children, approach the issue.

Debate of Lisbon National Reform Programs in National Parliaments of Selected EU Member States: Study 1.176
Finsko, Slovinsko, Estonsko).

Rate of investigation users of drugs
VÁVROVÁ, Marie
This diploma thesis is focused on testing drug users. Specifically, this thesis is concerned with testing drug users in low-threshold centres. These low-threshold centres for drug users operate in the area of secondary and tertiary prevention. Furthermore, it describes individual diseases such as HIV, HBV, HCV and syphilis, their mode of transmission, clinical course, diagnosis, treatment and possible prevention, drug policy of the Czech Republic, the conditions for testing the abovementioned diseases in low-threshold centres and the legal framework for testing at these facilities. The practical part is divided into several research studies. The qualitative research is aimed at low-threshold centres. In this part, I am trying to determine the number of HIV, HBV and HCV tests performed in 2014. Next, the purpose of this section is also to define where the testing takes place and who is tested. The research data were obtained using a questionnaire distributed to the low-threshold centres in the CR. According to the Annual Report on Drug Epidemiology from 2014, there are 76 low-threshold centres in the Czech Rep. A total of 32 questionnaires were collected. The questionnaire consisted of 32 questions. Close-ended questions were used to detect the type of facility, whether the facility carries out tests for the chosen types of diseases, what type of test is used, who performs the testing and where the testing is carried out. Open-ended questions were used to determine the number of people tested. The qualitative research consists of 18 interviews with drug users from the Contact Centre Český Krumlov. Thanks to its field program, this centre operates in Český Krumlov, Větřní, Kaplice, Horní Planá, Loučovice, Frymburk, Vyšší Brod and in border regions such as Horní and Dolní Dvořiště or Studánky where the drug abuse is very problematic. The data were collected using a semistructured anonymous interview. The interview consisted of 4 areas:Data for identification purposes. Drug history.Testing.Awareness.30 questionnaires received from the respondents at the Prevent Contact Centre in České Budějovice can be found in the Appendix. The data were collected using an anonymous questionnaire which consisted of three basic areas. The collected data included drug history and identification information, information about testing for infectious diseases and knowledge of health risks. The thesis states 6 goals. The first 3 goals deal with mapping of HBV, HCV and HIV testing among drug users at low-threshold centres in 2014. The purpose of the fourth goal is to determine how the testing is carried out in low-threshold centres. The fifth goal attempts to establish whether drug users are interested in HBV, HCV and HIV testing. Finally, the sixth goal determines whether drug users were tested in 2014.After processing the results I established the following hypotheses which resulted from the research.H1: Drug users are interested in their health.H2:Drug users are aware of risks that result from these diseases.H3: The possibility of testing at low-threshold centres is not chosen very often by drug users. The research showed that drug users have adequate information about the risks that are associated with drug injection and injecting equipment sharing, but the average amount of performed tests is relatively low.To sum up, drug users need to be constantly informed about the importance of regular testing. In order to increase the number of tested people, it would be advisable to adapt the testing to the users' needs and also to perform more tests within field programs. It would also be helpful to link health facilities to contact centres locally.

Evaluation of lifestyle of people working in multishift operations
PECHOVÁ, Vladimíra
The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Evaluation of lifestyle of people working in multishift operations". The aim of the thesis was to assess the lifestyle, actually its risks, of people working on shifts in terms of their gender and age. The thesis consists of a research and a theoretical part. The research part focuses on the sphere of rational nutrition, smoking habits, alcohol consumption, physical activities and awareness of healthy lifestyle. Quantitative method in the form of questionnaire was used for the research. The target group was formed by people working on shifts at worker positions. The research sample consisted of 98 respondents. The goal was not only to compare the monitored risks between men and women, but also to compare these risks between the age groups under and over 40 years of age. The theoretical part deals with health care in the Czech Republic, labour prevention care, the role of a nurse in labour prevention care and the individual lifestyle components. We set 3 hypotheses in the thesis. Hypothesis 1 "People working on shifts at worker positions are aware of the healthy lifestyle principles" was not confirmed. Hypothesis 2 "The healthy lifestyle principles, i.e. non-smoking, rational nutrition and physical activities will more often be adhered to by women than men" was confirmed. Hypothesis 3 "The lifestyle, actually its risks, will differ in the compared groups (under and over 40)", was also confirmed. The respondents showed obvious unawareness of the values of blood pressure and total blood cholesterol, eating habits mostly did not reflect the food pyramid, there was a high portion of smokers and passive smokers in the research sample, regular alcohol consumption and lack of physical activities were also confirmed, high portion of respondents with BMI over 25 also proved in some of the monitored groups. The results of the thesis may be used as a guide for labour prevention care doctors and nurses in talks to employers, defining the concrete aims of intervention in the lifestyle sphere. The thesis may also by used by nurses within education of workers.

The senior as a perpetrator for home violence
SMETANA, Marek
Home violence problem has been solved more intensively in the Czech Republic since 2000. Perpetrators for home violence are usually men as partners in life and they are very sporadically at senior age. From the sociological point of view seniors embody a kind of specificity; therefore, it sounds interesting to focus, within the thesis, on home violence perpetrated by seniors. The introduction of the bachelor thesis goes into explaining some basic concepts, reasons, kinds and forms of home violence. Besides, it is focused on seniors as a specific sociological group. In the main body of the thesis there are case studies of home violence files, which are at Písek Regional Department of the Police of the Czech Republic, of perpetrators above the age of 65 and the investigations of home violence specifics of the age category are documented there. The thesis target was to focus on specifications of the senior as a perpetrator for home violence and to describe reasons leading to home violence in their world. Findings can be used for the shaping of preventative measures to minimize home violence perpetrated by seniors. Six home violence case reports were studied at Písek Regional Department of the Police of the Czech Republic via the qualitative research technique. Seniors were perpetrators of those cases. Specifics of the mentioned age category of home violence perpetrators were disclosed by interviewing investigators of the cases via the no-standardised form of interview. Research results of the studied cases confirm the fact that perpetrators{\crq} partners tend to excuse perpetrators{\crq} violence. Periods of violence, tranquility and forgiveness usually take turns in the cohabitation of partners. Police investigators should improve their own skills in the field of appropriate communication with both the aggressive and violent perpetrator and the victim of the home violence. Police investigators should also deepen their coordination with organisations which help victims of home violence. Police training centres should hone investigators{\crq} skills in the field of assertive techniques, which are focused on appropriate communication with seniors and with other specific groups.
