Changes in the role of a regular elementary school counsellor after the implementation of an inclusion model.

This diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author derives from the historical findings of Educational Counselling Facilities in the Czech Educational system. Furthermore, she focuses on the definition of Educational Counselling Facilities before the introduction of the new concept of Individual Integration in 2016, including the working methods of school guidance counsellor. The author defines the terms of Individual Integration in detail and deals with the amendment and its consequences in the work of school guidance counsellors and teachers. The practical part includes an empirical research based on semi-structured interviews with school guidance counsellors. The author summarizes the findings of her questionnaire survey carried on among schoolteachers. In the final part, the author specifies the changes in the working methods of school guidance counsellors after the implementation of the new concept of Individual Integration starting from 1st September 2016. The author also clarifies the impact of the Individual Integration concept on the everyday responsibilities of the teachers and the educational facilities from their point of view.

The aim of the thesis is to present the roles of the pedagogical consultant at primary school and high school. The theoretical part is focused on term the educational consultant (regarding legislation, requirements for education). The thesis is occupied with history of educational consultancy, the content of the work of educational consultant, the cooperation with pedagogical and psychological counseling. The practical part is implemented by the qualitative research.The research consists of the dialogues with educational consultants from primary school and secondary school. It studies their job duties,the content of their job, the most common topics and educational difficulties and their solving.
Factors that affected the choice of study programme Social Work among students

This bachelor thesis deals with the factors that influenced the students to choose the social work degree, it aims to find out which factors influenced the students most in choosing the social work degree. Theoretical part is focused on the field of social work itself, its target groups, the personality of the social worker, but also the problems of choosing the professional orientation and, last but not least, the very circumstances influencing the choice of the future focus. For clarity, factors are divided into groups of psychological, social, personal factors, study factors, and work value factors. To elaborate the practical part, it was used the strategy of quantitative research, the method of questioning, the data collection was made using the technique of my own questionnaire. Respondents were chosen for the practical part of my work based on a stratified random sampling. There were interviewed 135 full-time students studying from the first to third years the degree of social work in the public administration. Three research hypotheses were formed for practical part. If previous education was more relevant factor in choosing their field of previous studies, then prospective application. If there is an increase of interest by students of social work degree during time of their studies. If use of professional counselling services was more common by students of humane and medical focused schools, then others. The questionnaire was made out of 12 questions. Primary aim of questionnaire was to find out influence by set up factors. Secondary aim was verifying fulfilment of research hypotheses from collected data. After the data collection, data matrix was written and subsequent evaluation under SPSS software was made. From the processed results, it is obvious that the respondents identified a group of psychological factors as the most important factors, whereas the most significant factor for them was the personality. Of the other groups of factors on the given students, the factor of the family was most influencing by the social factors, the personal factors included their interests. Considering the study factors, respondents mention the form of the study to be the most important factor and finally speaking about the factors in the work values, the self-realization in the field was the most crucial. The first hypothesis was found out incorrect, students were more influenced by future application. Both second and third hypotheses were found correct, there is the increase of interest among students during their studies and there were higher number users of professional counselling services by students of selected schools. Results from research can be use as information for faculty, also it can be suitable for students which want to choose the social work degree and it can be useful for them what to considered before choosing their career.
Support options for vocational education

The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of how to support vocational education, expecially its technical branches.The aim is to find out what kind of support is provided to students at secondary vocational schools and apprentice schools by businesses, organizations and other support programs so that the graduates could find employment after graduation in their field. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and pracitcal (i.e. research) parts. The theoretical part describes the individual strategic documents that deal with the support of the vocational education, which nowadays suffers from the lack of students. The practical part determines a set of research questions and includes the research that was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey between teachers of vocational schools and interviews with vocational school students. The results were subsequently evaluated and conclusions were drawn to identify which possibilities of support are used and how they are accepted by the students alone.
Career counseling in the organizational context

This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of the career counseling within organizations. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the topic of career, its historical development and current conceptions of career. Further it deals with the topic of career counseling, its historical development and some key concepts and approaches. One of areas where can be career counseling applied is organizational context. Career counseling is a part of a wider career support that can be provided by organizations to their employees. Bachelor thesis summarize how can be career counseling in organizations utilized, which are its goals in the organizational context and how it relates to another activities of career management. Applied part of the thesis proposes the project of the research with the objective of developing a questionnaire that could measure the need of the use of the career counseling within organizations.

How to choose a secondary school for a child with specific learning disabilities The aim of the diploma thesis was to outline the current situation in the secondary school choice for pupils with specific learning disabilities and to arouse discussion about the topic. The thesis has the form of an overview study followed by a research probe. On the basis of the research probe, stages of secondary school choice are specified and recommendations regarding the choice are presented for the pupils with specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with the definition of the following main terms based on the literature studied: specific learning disabilities, self-concept and career counseling. Further, the thesis includes a description of symptoms of the specific learning disabilities that are connected with the preferred strategy for secondary school choice. In the practical part of the thesis, the research probe is provided. The research sample is represented by pupils with specific learning disabilities attending the 9th grade of school in four regions (Prague, Pilsen, Ústí nad Labem and Moravian-Silesian region). Thesis Career Counseling, as a part of a general system of counseling at high schools, deals with diverse approaches towards professional preparation at high schools. Any help, with making a right decision of choosing a career or continuing in studies, is undoubtedly an important source for each person at high school and has been occupying this distinctive role in education. This thesis is trying to bring about the changing of the position of Career Counselor's within the school system, in a general system of counseling. The goal of this thesis is to cover the various subjects' conception of counselors at high schools and also trying to entitle their targets in connection with reality. At the end there will be given a description and clarification of three different high schools (each with different cultural and social-economic conditions) and their correspondences towards Career counseling in cooperation with the content analyses of the subjects' conceptions of Career counseling.

RESUME The times based on one individual's decision about which school to study to be able to choose further continuous and smooth career path has been over. As a result of current global and local social changes everybody should be prepared to the every possible change in career. Nevertheless the first choice of career is still an important milestone and can direct the individual career, but it is not the only key milestone, that determines the individual career once and for ever. People in contemporary world should be able to respond quickly to constant changes, evaluate new situations and be able to make the right decisions. The widespread myth is that success means to raise money as quickly as possible to guarantee the freedom and happiness. But a real success is a contented life, which is a long way over such values as for example certainty that we are doing the work that we like and which fills us with satisfaction. Individual goal is to focus on the abilities and skills so that the decision directs to such a career path where one will be able to optimally exploit one's potential in a future career. The aim of this thesis is to describe the content of the work of the school counselor at elementary school and emphasize the importance of his position there. The thesis concentrates also on his cooperation with other counseling organizations and the organization of the whole counseling system in our country. The theoretical part of this work is focused on the explanation of basic terminology from this field. The look at the history of the school counseling in our country and in English speaking countries then follows. This part also describes legal regulations which provide a model for the school counselors. On their base they provide their services. The following chapters concentrate on the description of the content of the work of school counselor and the description of the organizations with whom he often cooperates. The practical part of this work is created from the dialogues realized with the school counselors. The aim of it is to analyze what is the real content of the work of the school counselor, with who he usually cooperates during the problem solving and what are the opinions of the school counselors on the system of school counseling in our country generally.
