Diabetic treatment includes pharmacology treatment - with insulin and peroral antidiabetics, and unpharmacology treatment, which cooperate with drugs in reducing morbidity and mortality. My dissertation specializes in new types, new production technology and new styles of aplication insulin to the body. Stranz-Nikitina, Veronika ; Uličná, Olga (advisor) ; Čmejrková, Světla (referee) ; Chlupáčová, Kamila (referee)
This work is an analysis of style in the Russian postmodern novel, executed on the texts of the four key novels from the last decade of the 20th century. They are: Vladimir Sorokin ( ), « » Victor Pelevin ( ), « » Tatiana Tolstaja ( ), «» Ludmila Petrushevskaja ( ), « » The methodological base chosen is the one that serves in functional stylistics, complimented by the theory of 'constructively styling vectors' by V.G. Kostomarov. The aim of this work is a detailed description of specific stylistical tendencies that are characteristic to the text of a post modern novel. The analysis situates within with basic principles of postmodern text (it begins with non-constitutive and ends with constitutive principles). All four chapters in the first part present in-depth stylistical analysis of the text of one of the novels. This analysis is based on the terms of the mentioned above non-constitutive principles. (These principles are: deconstruction, simulacrum, rhizome, the death of the author). Meticulous realization of every principle is highlighted throughout the texts. There are also further examples of functional comparison of the same principle used in the other texts. Analysis is made of the content as well as of the expression of that content, using themes, plot, composition, build up of images and...

Interpenetration fine directions in selected literary works end of 19th and early 20th century - Secession tendencies and mosaic
Procházková, Tereza ; Hrabáková, Jaroslava (referee) ; Stejskalová, Anna (advisor)
110 RESUME The thesis is focused on the interpretation of several literary works from the turn ofthe 19th and 20th century. Selected works characterize certain elements, themes and motifs, which occur in the visual arts ofthis period. One can thus speak ofthe mutual interpenetration of literature and fine arts. This includes, for instance, the return to nature, which was meant to bring renewal and or a desire for creative originality to both - literature and Art Nouveau. Just as in Art Nouveau style, a woman appeared in literature as beautiful as a mirage, which was often displayed in two locations, as otherworldly creature - a fairy, or a femme fatale. The beginnings of Czech Art Nouveau with literature is attached to popular fairy tales, fairy-tale motifs and characters, dreaminess and lyricism. Art Nouveau ornament in the literature showed after linguistically as frequent repetition of words, themes or phonetic groups. Important in tenns ofthe interaction of literature and Art Nouveau was a magazine Volne smery, published since 1896, edited by Frantisek Xaver Salda and by artists Jan Preisler and Stanislav Sucharda, which in the first years contained, apart from modem arts, a major literature part.

International prefixoids with quantitatively-intensifying meaning in current Czech language
Podruhová, Eva ; Lehečková, Eva (referee) ; Saicová Římalová, Lucie (advisor)
The words composed using quantitatively-intensifying prefixoids are appearing more and more often in current Czech vocabulary. The prefixoids have come into Czech language with foreign words whose parts they used to be. These language elements are mostly international, most of them come from Latin, Greek, French and more and more often from English. In our thesis, we analyze these components: super- (supra-), maxi-, extra-, ultra-, hyper-, mega- (megalo-) giga- (giganto-), makro-, monstr-, turbo-, top-, big-¸ mini-, mikroand nano-. The words composed of these prefixoids can be divided into two main groups: 1) the sphere of professional language, where they function as scientific terms, professional words or as slang words; 2) the large sphere of occasional words which are especially used in the journalistic style and in common communication (mostly in expressive contexts). Most of these components are polysemic in the current language. Namely we focus on the quantitatively-intesifying prefixoids which often compete with each other. We closely look at meanings like: "big, the biggest, oversized, extraordinary, significant"; "very, extra, extremely, rarely"; "little, the least, unnecessary" etc. All explanations are supplied with representative examples which cover the latest layer of Czech neologic lexicum...

Processing production in firm logistic
Altmanová, Lenka ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Zouhar, Jan (referee)
The paper describes how logistic influence process in the firm, also there is a comparation with other firms in automobile section. And second part describes a case study of job scheduling in a mechanical-engineering production, the goal is to minimise the overall processing time. The production jobs are processed by machines. This problem is treated as a hybrid five-stage flow-shop. In other words, the job-processing job consists of maximum five tasks, it depends on product, because there is 12 products, each has own production flow. It is a new type of flow-shop in which the first-stage scheduling depends upon the time scheduling of the second stage, and so on. A mathematical model and a heuristic method is formulated, The problem is the NP hardness. The case study is solved with the heuristic method and the solution achieved represents a 10% reduction of the processing time for the given set of jobs.

Personal Literary Creation
Zmíním pouze to, že první básnické pokusy vznikaly přibližně kolem šestnáctého roku života, přičemž můj styl v následujících letech doznal řady změn a prudkých obratů.

Anthropogenesis of consciousness
Bažant, Jan ; Kebza, Vladimír (referee) ; Šípek, Jiří (advisor)
What is a development of consciousness of modern human being, i.e. with species Homo sapiens sapiens? The beginning step alone, how to define the inquired object in the research, brings considerable problems and discrepancies in different conceptions and approaches, there is the reason why it is important to answer another question at the first. How to qualify consciousness? In the part "Theories of consciousness ", in the chapter "Formation the term" I try to give a brief succession of particular conceptions about consciousness and a view of contemporary theories of consciousness posted up with the critical reflection. I am interested especially of the development so in the chapter "Development of consciousness" I summarize the up to now findings about evolution of hominids till the top species Homo sapiens. I mention some theoretical approaches there and critical survey of terms. In the last chapter of the first part, I inquire after reasons to qualify the culture as potential equivalent of consciousness. I appoint the culture as an expression of consciousness in outer world that is comparable as well as deducible into history and pre-history. What is possible to deduce from consciousness is possible generally to describe as products of psychic behavior (not only in pure behavioral sense).

"There was a time when I believed you loved me…" A Commented Translation of Selected Letters of August Strindberg
Herčíková, Jitka ; Humpál, Martin (advisor) ; Hartlová, Dagmar (referee)
The goal of this Master's Thesis is to bring out the literary aspects of August Strindberg's correspondence, with an emphasis on the love letters to his first and third wives, Siri von Essen and Harriet Bosse. A complete translation of Strindberg's letters into Czech is still lacking, even though this is, by volume, the greatest part of his work. A translation of his correspondence might alleviate his image as a spiteful misogynist in the Czech literary sciences, and above all may yield a new impulse to interpret Strindberg's dramas and may even inspire their more frequent presence on the Czech stage. In the first, theoretical part of this work, the literary nature of the love letter is described, along with the possibility of reading it as an epistolary novel; the similarity of Strindberg's expressive style to that of mediaeval troubadours is pointed out. In the second part, select passages of the correspondence are introduced with an exegetic commentary.
