Comparison of JavaScript-Based Web Application Development Tools
Gajdošík, Jakub ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this work is to explore the modern web application development process. Comparison of procedures and tools used in web application development. The work will be mainly focused on a new trend, web application development using JavaScript using various frameworks. The work will compare two frameworks for application development.
Presentations Web Editor
Abrahám, Adam ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to implement a web application to manage presentations with Markdown content, which are then presented through slideshow framework Reveal.js. Frontend of the application is created with Vue.js and Nuxt.js, backend with Express.js and for data storage I have chosen MongoDB, a NoSQL document database. Frontend and backend parts of the application communicate with each other through REST technology. The application allows users to view, edit and create more versions of the same presentation. This thesis furthermore contains description, comparison of current technologies and substantiation of their selection.
Extension of the Eclipse Che Editor for UI Testing Module
Lorinc, Marián ; Lengál, Ondřej (referee) ; Rogalewicz, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement module for testing graphical user interfaces of integrated development environment Eclipse Che. The biggest priority of this thesis is to make the module compatible with module for testing graphical user interfaces of editor Visual Studio Code. In order to ensure compatibility between both editors, new module was created to define common application programming interface for graphical components. Created solution enables Visual Studio Code extension developers to use existing user interface tests in Eclipse Che IDE with minimal effort. As result source code can be shared which reduces maintenance costs.
File Generator Development
Procházka, Šimon ; Fornůsek, Radim (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The topic of this master’s thesis is the development of a file generator which will be used as a support tool for web application development in LOGEX Solution Center s.r.o. The application was written in TypeScript using the Node.js JavaScript runtime.
Intelligent Data Scraping in a Web Browser
Maštera, František ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to extract data from web pages without the knowledge of their internal structure. The point is to recognize the structure using an algorithm and a given input information about the content that the user wants to extract. The structure analysis is then followed by the content extraction itself. An average success rate of over 80% was achieved on selected sets of websites. The resulting algorithm represents a new approach to data extraction and can be deployed in the real world or can be a part of further development.
Unconventional Dating Mobile Application
Demel, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a new dating app that corrects the shortcomings of existing solutions. It turned out that the main shortcomings are impersonal dating and judging based on appearance. These are corrected by using the psychological model called MBTI and limiting the amount of time that users can chat. The thesis gradually discusses the issue of current applications, the design of solutions for partial problems and lastly the description of the implementation itself. The implementation consists of a cross-platform mobile application and an API. The cross-platform application itself was implemented as a mobile native app using React Native. The API was implemented as a REST API. The app uses Firebase services for data storage, sending notifications and user authentication. The localization API of the device is used to search for suitable connections in the vicinity.
Forced Alignment via Neural Networks
Beňovič, Marek ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Hnětynka, Petr (referee)
Watching videos with subtitles in the original language is one of the most effective ways of learning a foreign language. Highlighting words at the moment they are pronounced helps to synchronize visual and auditory perception and increases learning efficiency. The method for aligning orthographic transcriptions to audio recordings is known as forced alignment. This work implements a tool for aligning transcript of YouTube videos with the speech in their audio recording, providing a web user interface with video player presenting the results. It integrates two state-of-the-art forced aligners based on Kaldi, first using standard HMM approach, second based on neural networks and compares their accuracy. Integrated aligners also provide a phone level alignment, which can be used for training statistical models in further speech recognition research. Work describes implementation and architectural concepts the tool is based on, which can be used in various software projects. 1
Predator-Prey Simulation in JavaScript
Méry, Jozef ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
Študovanie populácie organizmov je veľmi užitočná oblasť výskumu. Dokáže pomôcť s predpovedaním, porozumením a možným zachovaním populácií.
Information System for Accommodation Services
Bargl, Vojtěch ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with microservice architecture. Main goals of this thesis is analysis of microservice architecture, comparison with monolith architecture and creation of a information system with the help of concepts revealed from the microservices architecture. This thesis reveals the volume of work that this architecture entails. The system is suitable for the management of apartments, users and reservations. This thesis describes the most important factors obtained from the analysis of this architecture, the process of specifying the domain of accommodation services and the development of the system itself with the help of the application of these concepts.
Monitoring system for monitoring of laboratory processes
Bachmayer, Marek ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
The presented work deals with the development of a monitoring system for monitoring the operation of the laboratory. The theoretical part of the work includes information on the safety of operation and work in biological laboratories, measured physical quantities and the principle of their measurement. The monitoring system is built on a compact ESP32-CAM camera and a WeMos D1 development board. The practical part consists of the design and implementation of a given system and the creation of a full-stack application for displaying live input from the laboratory for monitoring measured quantities in real time.
