Objectives: Theoretical contribution of the research is to extend knowledge about the impact of psychotherapeutic training on its participants. Community and group psychotherapeutic training is an endemic phenomenon which does not appear out of the Czech Republic and has not been systematically investigated yet. Goal: The main goal of my dissertation is to detect the influence of psychotherapeutic community training on its members. Subjects: The subject of investigation is 168 introspectional texts which participants of psychotherapeutic community wrote immediately after completing the training. The texts were developed from the diaries which the members wrote during the 5 years persistence of training. Research methods: Qualitative analyses of documents based on application of methods, techniques and procedures of "grounded theory". Content analysis and focus groups were used as complementary methods. Conclusions: This study formulates an integrated theory of psychotherapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral methods, psychodynamic psychotherapy and expressive therapeutic techniques concentrated in a system of community and psychotherapy group training. The study describes concrete methods and techniques of leadership work with community and groups which combine social work with large...
Illustrations in the print Pán rady (1505).
Polanská, Magda ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor) ; Voit, Petr (referee)
Diploma thesis with the topic Illustration cycle in print called Pán rady (1505) deals with issue of illustration in old printed books, but also in wider perspective with text, its history and its mediation via manuscripts and print. Art-historical background of the author is combined with informations from other disciplines like library science, history of literature and history. As woodcuts are known as an import from Strassbourg, formal analysis is focused on finding paralels in local illustrated books production. Surprisingly one of the models used for woodcuts is copperplate by Dutch engraver known as Master FVB. There are several specifics when iconography of woodcuts is concerned. In the first place are all the allegorical figures depicted as male - despite the fact that in most other artworks is Fortune and other figures traditionally shown as female. Other interesting aspect is lack of female element on the illustrations at all, with one exception where depicted woman is most likely prostitute. This can be explained as an awareness of the strict morals utraquistic townsmen in Prague. There are quite a few parallels with contemporary tendencies in this sort of moralising literature and its influence on art. Illustrations from Pán rady are preceding popular protestant imaginary warning from...
UV-photochemical generation of volatile selenium compounds for ultratrace analysis by AAS
Rybínová, Marcela ; Rychlovský, Petr (advisor) ; Komárek, Josef (referee) ; Šíma, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the study of UV-photochemical generation of volatile compounds (UV-PVG) in connection with atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). Selenium (Se(IV)) was selected as a model analyte and many experiments were carried out to expand the current sum of knowledge of the topic. The study was commenced by assembling the UV-PVG apparatus in the continuous flow mode. The detection method used was AAS with externally heated quartz furnace atomizer. The focus of the first step of the study was on the construction of the volatile compounds generator (UV-photoreactor) with emphasis on the material used; tubes made of teflon or quartz of different diameters were tested. The construction of the apparatus was followed by optimization of the reaction conditions (the type and concentration of the photochemical agent and other agents, which increase the analytical signal; the carrier gas and the auxiliary hydrogen gas flow rate; the sample flow rate). Eventually, the analytical figures of merit of the selenium determination using the proposed method were found. The results showed that teflon reaction tubes are a good competitor to those made of quartz. The accuracy of the method has been successfully verified by analysis of certified reference material and its applicability has been further tested...

Vařilová, Tereza ; Pacáková, Věra (advisor) ; Feltl, Ladislav (referee) ; Coufal, Pavel (referee) ; Kučerová, Zdenka (referee)
Conclusions This Thesis gives an overview of high-performance riquid chromatography in various separation modes for a characterization of selected proteins. various affinity stationary phases were prepared for analysis of pepsin, seminal plasma proteins and selected glycoproteins' choice of the affinity system suitable for a particular purpose is always a comprex probrem in which number of aspects must be considered. properties of the proteins to be separated and ligands used had to be taken into an account. The separation system should not influence the biorogicai activity ofproteins separated. From this point of view it is clear that for any each individuar system is necessary to find specific conditions for I) immobilizationof ligand, and II) separation conditions. Stationary phases with immob'ized 3,5-diiodo-L-tyrosine exhibited sufÍicient selectivity, proved to be useful for analysis ofporcine pepsin A and are appricable to practical sampres of human pepsin' Reversed-phase crs corumn is suitable for anarysis ofpepsin fragments obtained after a-chymotrypsin digestion. A study oť interaction of various forms of pepsin and pepsinogen are essentiar because of their high importance as crinicar diagnostic markers and as stomach enzyme. Čapek, Tomáš ; Richter, Martin (advisor) ; Beranová, Andrea (referee)
The Crime of Sexual Intercourse Between Relatives Abstract The thesis deals with the crime of intercourse between relatives under Article 188 of the Criminal Code of the Czech Republic. This crime is usually not given much attention. In the Czech environment, there is no work that has yet been comprehensively devoted to this topic, although there are many unclear issues associated with this crime. The main research question is the analysis of the mentioned article and the question of its usefulness in practice and the question of the need to criminalise incest, especially in the form of consensual sexual intercourse between adults. To achieve the objectives of the thesis, the analytical method and elements of historical and comparative research are mainly used. The introductory chapter of the thesis deals with the historical development of the legal regulation of the punishment of incest. Emphasis is placed primarily on the regulation in Roman law and then the development of criminal law in the Czech territory from Great Moravia to the present day. The second part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the current legislation, both from the theoretical and practical point of view. The systematic classification of the criminal offence, the typical features of the crime and its relation to other provisions...
Determination of spontaneus abortions - the role of Apo E gene polymorphism, importance of selected congenital thrombophilias and thyroid function during the pregnancy
Kašparová, Dita ; Fait, Tomáš (advisor) ; Procházka, Martin (referee) ; Límanová, Zdeňka (referee)
Introduction: Spontaneous abortion (SA) is the most common complication in pregnancy. The aim of the study was to investigate the causality of selected genetic factors - Apolipoprotein E (Apo E) gene polymorphisms, factor V Leiden (FVL), Prothrombin (PT G20210A) and nongenetics factors - Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free thyroxine (fT4), antibodies against thyroid peroxidase (a-TPO) in the role of early SA. Materials and methods: For genotyping of APO E polymorphism was used PCR-RFLP. The detection of mutations in genes FV and FII was performed using by HRM. Laboratory markers of thyroid (TSH, a-TPO and fT4) were determined by an automated analyzer using chemiluminescent immunoassay. Results: APOE genotypes of investigated group of 410 samples abortioned embryonic/ fetal tissues were not significantly different from 2 606 adult controls (P = 0.653). In observed infertile group of 75 women with isolated SA was FVL detected in heterozygous constitution with a prevalence of 12 %. The prevalence of FVL in a group of women with early insulated SA was significantly higher than 76 controls (12 % vs. 2.6 %, P = 0.031). The difference of PTG20210A prevalence between women with isolated SA and controls was not significant (4 % vs. 5.3 %, P = 1). The prevalence of elevated TSH levels (higher than 2.5...
Computational methods for finding cryptographic functions
Kroutil, Jaroslav ; Göloglu, Faruk (advisor) ; Růžička, Pavel (referee)
Recent studies have demonstrated several methods on different approaches to classi- fication of vectorial Boolean functions up to certain equivalence relation and to finding new quadratic Almost Perfect Nonlinear (APN) functions. In this work we explore these classification methods of vectorial Boolean functions, in particular those that minimise the search space up to EA-equivalence or linear-equivalence. We also investigate various strategies for finding quadratic APN functions. These methods are rooted in various aspects of algebraic theory. We explore the mathematical theory in more detail, and provide a guide to practical application of the theory. We also provide implementations of these methods and illustrate them in the context of the presented theory. 1
The language of Czech minority in Šumice in the Romanian Banat
Frnochová, Adéla ; Dittmann, Robert (advisor) ; Lehečková, Eva (referee)
This thesis contributes to a research on Czech dialects in language enclaves abroad. The aim of the paper is to describe the language of the Czech minority in the village of Šumice in Romanian Banat. All traditional levels of language are analyzed: phonological, morphological, syntactical, lexical and word-formation. The research was restricted only to the oldest generation, that means to the people over sixty-five. In the beginning, the author deals with the history of Czech immigrants in Romania and also with their contemporary life. Particular attention is paid to the history of Šumice. In the following part of the thesis, the methods of gathering material are described, as well as the further data processing. The research was supplemented with results of a dialectological questionnaire and with transcriptions of recorded speeches. For comparison, the author used transcriptions of recordings from the 1971 and also data about Šumice from the Český jazykový atlas (Czech Linguistic Atlas). The results of the research are described gradually, separately for each language level. Besides the facts found out on the basis of the questionnaires, the author also presents phenomena detected only in the recordings. The main attention is paid to the elements, which help to classify the dialect of Šumice...
Stability and efficiency of a new Mn-oxide based sorbent in contrasting soils
Knytl, Vladislav ; Ettler, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Komárek, Michael (referee)
Metal contamination of soils is one of the most important environmental problems throughout the world. One of the possible remediation technique of contaminated soils is based on chemical stabilization using various amendments. Due to their structure and sorption properties (pHZPC, specific surface, CEC etc.), Fe, Mn and Al oxides are suitable for this remediation technique. The focus of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the stability and the effectivity of the new synthetic amorphous Mn oxide (AOM) in soil samples with contrasting physicochemical parameters, mainly pH: soil N (pH 4,2), soil H (pH 5,4), soil S (pH 7,3). In a 90-day laboratory pot experiment with incubation of AMO in these soils we found that stability of AOM is strictly pH-dependent. Higher dissolution was observed in the most acidic soil N (mass loss up to 18%), whereas in alkaline soil S themass loss attained only 10%. The dissolution of AOM in acidic soils (N, H) was connected with a significant release of Mn into the soil pore water. For soils H and S the massive formation of secondary carbonate phases (rodochrozite - MnCO3, kutnahorite - (Ca,Mn)CO3) was detected on the AOM surfaces by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Granulometric measurements...
