Competitiveness of a consumer co-operative's store

Cílem bakalářské práce je posoudit a porovnat celkovou konkurenceschopnost a pozici vybrané společnosti na trhu v určité oblasti. K této analýze byly vybrány jednotlivé prodejny spotřebního družstva, a to konkrétně jednoty COOP v porovnání s hypermarkety Kaunfland, Albert a Lídl. Konkurenceschopnost jednotlivých společností je porovnávána v oblasti Jižních čech, přesněji v Jindřichově Hradci. V první části této práce jsou objasněna teoretická východiska a základní problematika, která se vztahuje k problému konkurenční schopnosti prodejny. Na základě těchto východisek je zpracovaná analýza, která nám objasní, jak se na tom prodejna stojí. Pro optimální zjištění nejlepšího výsledku budou námi potřebná data získávána přímo od zaměstnanců a majitelů poboček. V celkové analýze nechybí ani názor zákazníků a jejich spokojenost s nákupem. Po zanalyzování a vyhodnocení jsou v praktické části navržena opatření, která mohou zlepšit konkurenční schopnost dané prodejny.

British VS. American English – A comparative study

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na porovnání rozdílů Britské a Americké angličtiny, dvou nejrozšířenějších variací anglického jazyka, který je po celém světě využíván ať už jako mateřský jazyk nebo vyučovaný druhý jazyk pro snazší mezinárodní komunikaci. Práce se stručně zabývá historií jazyka a následně rozebírá rozdíly v oblastech gramatiky, výslovnosti a slovníku s příklady dané problematiky. Práce rovněž pojednává o kulturních vlivech, které ovlivnily vývoj jazyka. Pro práci jsem použil knižní a internetové zdroje. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je poskytnout a ukázat jakým způsobem se jeden jazyk může lišit na základě odlišné národnosti.

Teaching Differences between British and American English in Lower-secondary EFL Classes

Presented thesis deals with teaching differences between British and American English. Its aim is to suggest a suitable way of teaching selected vocabulary differences between these two English varieties in EFL classes. The theoretical part of the presented thesis summarizes the knowledge background gained by studying relevant researches and professional publications. On that study the author's original teaching materials are based. The practical part consists of a brief research; original materials were used in five EFL classes, and consequently their efficiency and utility was examined. The main goal of this thesis is to propose this topic as a kind of useful enrichment of English lessons and to examine the way it could be included in a lesson plan without affecting it or burdening teachers with an extra preparation. Title of the thesis: Quantitative characteristics of gaming performance in basketball Czech National team of women at the Olympic Games in 2012 and its comparison with the performance of the 2010 World Cup. The goal of the paper: The goal of this paper is a characteristics of a team game performance of our national women's team at the Olympic Games in 2012 and compared with the characteristics of the same team at the World Cup 2010. Data collection method used will be observed, the specification of analysis gaming performance indicators and quantitative evidence type. Methodology: The Quantitative analysis of a team performance videorecording (KVANTÝM). Results: The results are intended to show the value of individual indicators in comparison with the indicators of opponents and their own pointers to the previous top event. Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia

Title of Work: Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia. Objectives of Thesis: The main goal of our work is to compare team game performances of Group C and compare the final results of the Czech Republic representation in detail with its rivals at the European Championship in 2013. Partial target is a comparison of average merits between groups of teams which made it to the second round of the tournament of the European Championship 2013 which didn't succeed. Methods of Work: The chief method of the writing was a quantitative analysis of video records of all of the games of Group C, European Championship 2013 with detailed final results of the Czech Republic and its rivals. While using the method of observation, we registered the characteristics of the games and then compared it within the participating teams. In the second part, we compared the final results of pointers of the moving teams to the qualification and teams which didn't' succeed in Group C, European Championship 2013 in Basketball. 1 TITLE: Specifics of womans ice hockey AUTHOR: Michaela Hrbková DEPARTMENT: Physical Education Department SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ladislav Pokorný ABSTRAKT: This master thesis shows specific differences between men's and women's ice hockey. Point out anatomical, physiological, psychological, performance, technical and tactical factors affecting training processes and training units in men's and women's ice hockey. Using a questionnaire among players and coaches, I examined the knowledge of specific gender needs and their placement in the training units, knowledge of competition systems and game plans, differences in rules and men's and women's ice hockey. Furthermore, player and coaching history and hockey coaching education. Using a questionnaire among public, I examined opinions on female players and women's ice hockey, differences in attendance and viewership of men's and women's matches, knowledge of male and female players, teams and international successes of national hockey teams. I compared average age, weight and height of male players in Tipsport Extraliga and female players in women's league. I also compared the amount of training units of men's team HC Verva Litvínov and women's team HC Litvínov in the season 2014/2015. Church Kindergarten Management

This bachelor thesis focuses on the management of church kindergarten (CK). It deals with the specifics of the CK and differences due to the municipal kindergarten. The aim is to compare sub-areas of management of CK and municipal kindergartens. Based on this I would like to find out whether there are differences between church kindergarten and municipal kindergartens management. The work should expand the awareness of professionals and managers and to facilitate the orientation of the church kindergarten, especially for beginners. Legislation looks at religious schools like private schools, but it is a separate category. In the practical part completion of a questionnaire and guided interview was chosen as the research method. The research focuses on the differences in the areas of local church nursery and municipal kindergarten management. Another endpoint is the view of managers on the church kindergarten. Since these differences are mainly legislative this is rather supplement to the theoretical part, where differences and specific have already been revealed.

Title: The relationships between the level of physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players. Author: Jitka Chlastáková Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Aim: To find and compare the level of physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). The next aim was to determine the relationships between physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). Methods: The object of the research was a group of girls aged from 11 to 15 years. Out of them were 14 girls actually playing for U13 and another 14 for U15. The daily motion aktivity of this group was tested by 14 accelerometers Actigraph GT3X. The length of testing period was one week. The level of motion abilities was examined by testing battery UNIFITTEST 6-60 through four different exercises. Both somatic test and UNIFITTEST 6-60 were realized during a camp. Results: The results show that girls playing for U15 are generally more active than girls playing for U12 (4 171 133 counts > 2 809 934 counts). It proves a fact that older girls make daily on average 15 462 steps compare to 9 764 steps of younger girls. By this result U13 team does not meet the recommendation of 11 000 steps in a day. The thesis named Barack Obama and Middle East analyzes American foreign policy to-wards the countries of the Middle East region - Iraq, Iran and Israel. After two con-secutive terms of George W. Bush, new policies of the Obama administration are de-fined with the Middle East still in its centre. This paper answers three basic questions: What is Obama's desirable Middle East policy? In what aspects it is different from the steps of his predecessor? To what extent are the pre-election promises fulfilled? The commitments are defined from Obama's speeches and articles made during the peri-od of his candidacy and also from the recommendations of his advisors. The differen-ces between this planned foreign policy and the steps of George Bush are recapitula-ted in the next part. The third part explores the fulfilment of Obama's promises.
