Orff's Instruments Used at Contemporary Pre-school Music Lessons

Target of this thesis is to realize an one-month musical project at one of kindergarten classes while using Orf's musical instruments. Further to find out through a musical test prospective individual contribution of Orf's musical instruments involvement to a musical development of preschool children. Theoretical part of thesis describes a pedagogical reform at musical education, current status of musical education at kindergardens based on a General Education Programm (RVP). Further refers to a psychological aspect of musical development of preschool children, describes Orf's musical instruments itself and its usage at "itegrative pedagogy". Practical part of thesis is dedicated to a survey. It discovers how often, which way and which musical instruments are used at kindergardens. The musical project is performed at one of kindergarten classes via musical test. Musical abbilities and skills of children are investigated and contribution of Orf's musical instruments is verified and evaluated.
Readiness of Children to Start School in Cesky Brod Region

The diploma thesis concerns with the school readiness issue in region Cesky Brod. High number of children with compulsory school attendance postponement resists these days, which the government decided to solve with compulsory preprimary year implementation. When framework education programs came into force, schools drew up their own school education programs. The basis, with which they enter the school, diversified. The goal of the thesis is to determine the areas in which most children had problems during the first grade enrollments in Cesky Brod region. The readiness of children to enter school is studied also from the parents' and the teachers' point of view and their points of view are compared. The research combines three methods - observation, questionnaire and case history. For the research during the first grades enrollments the observation was chosen. On the basis of the theory the areas for observation were determined and assessed according to the chosen assessment criteria. The points of view of the parents and teachers were examined in the questionnaire. Children's spirituality in the school educational program for pre-school education

The diploma thesis follows up on the author's bachelor's thesis, in which was proposed the sixth educational area for the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education entitled The Child and His Spirituality. At present, the concept of children's spirituality is unaccepted and therefore neglected in academic areas in preschool education. However, for several decades, many authors have spoken of children's spirituality as a scientifically substantiated thesis. Therefore, the work deals with concepts of how to grasp children's spiritual education and how it could be practiced in the Czech secular kindergarten. It is shown that the Czech legislation represented by the Education Act is on the side of this education and does not go against it. The essence of spiritual children's capacity and how spirituality is realized and perceived in human life are discussed. One of the essential points of the work also lies in explaining that it is necessary to distinguish religion from spirituality. The Role of Special educator in Pre-school education of Children with Autistic Disorders

Rigorosum thesis follows up the role of the special education teachers in pre-school learning of children with autism. It's based on the study of the professional literature, long term experience of the author who works as a teacher in kindergarten with special education classes, her cooperation with colleagues, parents and external specialists. Rigorosum thesis is divided into three parts. The first, theoretical part is defining the basic concepts and terms like autism, the personality of special education teacher, school education system, supportive measures, inclusion. The second part outlines the experience and knowledge of the author. It deals with team and multi-discipline co-operation, it is showing structured interviews with the specialists co-operating with the kindergarten teachers and participating on special education of children in the kindergarten where the author works. It also brings brief overview of pre-schooling system in Sweden, Finland and Georgia. The author draws on her experience from professional business trips abroad. Inclusion in the Pre-school Education System

The rigorosum thesis deals with the inclusive education in nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It is based on specialized literature, an overview of legislative changes in preschool education and longtime experience of its author, a preschool special educator. The thesis consists of three parts. The first, theoretical one, defines basic concepts and cornerstones of school inclusion as well as the role of its main actors from the point of view of both positive and negative impacts the school inclusion may have on them. It also brings a brief outline of the preschool inclusive systems in Great Britain, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The second part gives an overview of the preschool inclusive education in the framework of current Czech education system including some information and experience gained during the author's professional carrier. Personal experience of visits to some nursery schools in Sweden and Finland is also included. The third part of the thesis brings findings of a quantitative survey oriented to expert and lay attitudes to the preschool inclusion. Early Childhood Education and Care in Finland

The bachelor thesis is focuses on pre-primary education and care in Finland. The aim of the thesis is find out specifics of pre-primary institutions and to compare two specific pre-primary institutions from the perspective of structural and procedural setting. Bachelor thesis is consist of theoretical and practical parts. The goal of theoretical part is to inform about political situation, demography and the social system's support in Finland briefly. The main topic of theoretical part is describing different types of institutions, which provide pre-primary education and care. Moreover, it is also focuses on the legislative conditions and curricular documents of these institutions. The end of the theoretical part deals with qualification of pre- primary education teacher. Practical part of bachelor thesis contains two case studies of two pre-primary institutions in Finland. This part follows the specifics of structural settings, but also educational forms and methods of both preschool institutions. The case studies use observation method, structured interviews and document analysis. At the end of the practical part, there are some inspirations of Finnish pre-primary education, which would be a solution for current issues of pre-primary education in the Czech Republic.
