Motivation in tennis in older school-age children

Title: Children's motivation in tennis in older school age Objectives: The aim of my diploma thesis was to find out the motivation of tennis players in the age category 11 to 15 years in tennis club TK Písek. Using the standardized questionnaire I focused on motivation, what type of motivation dominate, why children devote to this sport, what is the aspiration of children. I focused to find out if there are any reasons for children to stop playing tennis. I also tried to compare how the level of motivation and aspiration of children has changed compared to the research that took place in 2019 among children of younger school age. Methods: The research was conducted using a quantitative method using the Czech version of the international standardized questionnaire The Sport Motivation Scale "SMS- 28". The questionnaire was supplemented with 3 additional open questions. Results: The research has showed that the intrinsic motivation prevails over external motivation among children of older school age in tennis club TK Písek. The research also shows that children are most motivated by intrinsic motivation to experience and intrinsic motivation to accomplish something. This thesis HR Marketing in the Non-profit Sector - A Case Study of Med Students FOR Vaccination focuses on HR marketing in the non-profit sector, within the specific non-profit organisation Medici PRO Očkování (Med Students FOR Vaccination). Its aim is to find out how internal and external HR marketing of Med Students FOR Vaccination was perceived from the perspective of its former members and thus, through a combination of theoretical framework and practical research, to offer concrete recommendations for improving current practices and strategies and a comprehensive view of how HR marketing in the non-profit sector can help. The theoretical part of the thesis describes non-profit organisations, volunteering, volunteers and their motivations, and HR marketing, its divisions and its possible tools. In the practical part of the research a qualitative method of semi-structured in-depth interviews is used for data collection. Open coding is then used to analyse the data. The research results indicate that the areas of recruitment and orientation and care and support of volunteers are the least positively evaluated by respondents in the HR marketing of the organisation. Motivation for physical activities in upper primary school students

Title: Motivation for Physical Activities among Secondary School Students Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to describe the level of motives leading to physical activity among secondary school students. A secondary objective is to compare the level of these motives between boys and girls. Methods: This work is empirical-theoretical, specifically a one-time cross-sectional descriptive study based on a survey. The research sample consisted of N = 271 secondary school students, who were administered a multidimensional questionnaire assessing motivation for physical activity (Motives for Physical Activity Measure - Revised; MPAM- R). Basic descriptive statistics were used for data processing. Results: The results showed that the primary motive among the respondents was fitness/conditioning (M = 5.4). Other motives included competence/challenge (M = 5.1), interest/enjoyment (M = 5.1), and appearance (M = 4.8). The weakest motive influencing the respondents was social interaction (M = 4.5). Title: Motivational intervention in primary school and its effect on physical activity of older school- age children Objectives: The main aim of the thesis was to investigate the possibilities of implementation and the influence of a complex motivational intervention program on physical activity (PA) of older school-age children during a two-month period within the school educational process. Methods: The effect of a two-month motivational programme on the promotion PA was examined in a mixed-methods research design with a group of 50 Year 7 pupils (28 girls and 22 boys, aged 12 to 13 years). The intervention included thematic educational lectures, physical education moments, learning in motion, motivational activities in physical education and active breaks between lessons. A school sports day and a sports trip were also implemented. The data collection methods used in the pre-test and post-test were: a questionnaire to monitor PA level and motor testing. Observational and descriptive methods were used throughout the programme. Teacher (n=7) focus group interviews and a student (n=50) survey were used to evaluate the program. Thesis title: Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's athletics Author: Karolína Zelenková Thesis Supervisor: doc. PhDr. Mgr. Aleš Kaplan, MBA, Ph.D. Objective: The objective of my thesis is to investigate the interest of younger and older youth in athletics during the COVID-19 pandemic through a questionnaire survey. Methodology: A non-standardized questionnaire was used for the preparation of the bachelor thesis, which was mediated in printed form. Six randomly selected athletic clubs in the South Bohemia region were asked to cooperate. 82 athletes participated in the research. The questionnaire included 8 initial characteristic questions and 14 questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on athletic training. The subject of the research was the motivation of youth to participate in sports during the pandemic and also the comparison of the opinions of young athletes from the South of Bohemia during the pandemic with the time before the pandemic. Results of the Thesis: The results suggest that during the COVID-19 pandemic, young athletes missed the opportunity to participate in athletic training. The bachelor's thesis entitled ''On motivation to study nursing at university'' deals with the motivation of students of General and Pediatric nursing. Objectives: The aim of this study is to find out the motivation of the respondents, students of the bachelor study program for the preparation of general nurses to study at the university. In the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis, individual chapters related to the given issue are elaborated. Key terms such as motivation and motives are described, and the study marginally deals with the history of higher education in nursing, the current education of general nurses and related legislation. The empirical part of the study presents the results of the own research and their comparison with the results of studies on the same or similar topic. Methods: In order to achieve the aim of work, a questionnaire survey was carried out, the target group of which was students of the 2nd and 3rd years of General and Pediatric Nursing. 246 completed questionnaires were included in the survey itself. The main aim of the thesis is to map the motivation to exercise and healthy lifestyle among young adults aged 20-40 years and their attitudes towards these areas. The theoretical part focuses on the issues of healthy lifestyle, exercise and movement recommendations within a lifestyle framework. An important part is the motivation for exercise and healthy lifestyle and its importance in physiotherapy. This Bachelor’s thesis deals with human resourcing management. Main goal of this thesis is to propose changes in the motivational system of the company, which supports development in this area. Theoretical part is devoted to the interpretation, which is the basis for creation of the analytical part and their own proposals to improve employee motivation and their subsequent effectiveness and satisfaction. The problems were identified through interviews with the company's management and a questionnaire survey. There were made several proposals in this area due to insufficient results.
The influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work and motivation of kindergarten teachers.

This diploma thesis discusses the influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work performance and motivation of teachers in kindergartens. The theoretical part of the work is dedicated to the definition of teaching staff, the work duties they must perform and also their motivation. The role of kindergarten principals and their influence on the climate of the teaching staff and the motivation of pedagogues is also described. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the differences between the school climate, the classroom climate and the social climate of the teaching staff. The empirical part of the work presents the research results. The study focused on investigating the social climate of teaching staff in kindergartens and its influence on teacher's motivation and satisfaction. In this approach a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used to identify factors influencing the climate of the teaching staff and their influence on the work and motivation of teachers.
