Analysis of the Motivation System in a Selected Company and Arising Revision Draft

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the incentive program in the Czech Savings Bank (Česká spořitelna), namely at the Regional branch in Brno. The main aim of the work is finding the way how to increase motivation and satisfaction of employees at the Brno Regional Branch and thus to achieve higher staff performance. In finding out the current situation the questionnaire investigation method has been used on the results of which some proposals on improving the current situation have been specified at the conclusion of the thesis.

Concept for Motivational System Change in a Company

This thesis deals with suggestions of appropriate changes in a concept of incentive system in the particular company. Changes will be suggested based on the theoretical background and the current state in the company. The proposed solutions will be used as a concept for increasing the satisfaction and loyalty of workers, to reduce the sickness and fluctuation and on the basis of these sub-goals to improve performance throughout the organization.

The second part focuses on business performance and analyzing the current state of motivation. The last part of the changes are designed to improve the incentive program organization.

New motivation system should excel its attraction and targeting the employees, but also minimized the financial intensity for the company. In my thesis are provided basic theoretical knowledge, practical solutions and suggestions, which could lead to total improvement of the system and effective work of employees.

The aim of my thesis is the analysis of motivational tools in the selected organization and the proposal for possible amendments. In the theoretical part there are defined basic terms such as motivation, motive, theories of motivation, motivational tools, motivational program and motivational tools effectiveness. The practical part is dedicated to the characteristics of the company, its management and organizational structure. The work also deals with employment benefits and incentive program of the selected company. The questionnaire investigation analysis is performed at the end of the practical part. Potential changes to the current needs are recommended on the basis of the evaluation process.

The theoretical part is processed on the basis of available literature, the practical part is processed on the basic of an interview stih the Personnel Manager of The LEGO Group and The LEGO Group's internal documents.

Motivation of employees in the time of economic crises

This bachelor thesis is focused on the motivation and stimulation of employees in the time of economic crises. In these times, it is important to support the motivation of employees more than ever. To start with, the thesis presents a theoretical outline of the subject that ranges from defining the basic concepts of the motivation, to a more detailed and specific listing of motivation in HR. It also describes a incentive program. This introduction is followed by the practical part which starts with a brief description of the company, in which a research was conducted in order to asses the level of motivation and stimulation in this company. Finally I would like to propose an incentive program, which will lead to improvements in this company.
